@ the school concert
preparation a day before the BIG day
On Sun morning, we woke up as early as 7am to prepare Emeryn for the school concert. After finishing her milk, mummy did the very last touch-up for Emeryn’s hair and also a quick make over before leaving to Sunshine Square. We reached the hall at about 8.25am and Emeryn went straight to the back stage for the final preparation while mummy went inside the hall in order to reserve some seat.
Daddy wasn’t there with us that morning but ah kong, por por, ah ma, chik chik, ah chim, kakak, Joel and Joey were there to support mummy’s lil’ cheeky. The concert started at around 9.30am with some speech and Negaraku, 1 Malaysia and other opening songs. Later the mc announced Emeryn’s name to present her short speech along with Ern Ern. Emeryn did a very fantastic job delivering her speech without any error. But unfortunately her classmate, Ern Ern was unable to deliver hers as she was having stage fright. Though Emeryn’s speech was too soft as she did not place the mike near to her, but it was good enough for mummy to be proud of her lil’ cheeky. Bravo!!!
Next, was Emeryn’s class to present where the dance “We Will Rock You”. Emeryn wasn’t really participating in the dance as she was busy looking around. Mummy ain’t too happy with her performance and thinks Emeryn did so much better during her last year performance. After the performance mummy snapped some photo of Emeryn and her friends. The whole concert ended at around 1pm and we went to McD for lunch before heading home.
