 Emeryn's X'mas gift from Germany

We touched down at Penang Airport at about 11am on Mon, 18th Dec. Uncle Leonard waited for us at the airport and surprise mummy with a bouquet of flower. We don't have any issue with jet lag and Emeryn even went over to Theng Ee Ee's house to meet her beloved baby cousin bro. That evening Uncle Leonard drove mummy to Por Por's house to collect back her car which Toki Ee Ee was driving. We had a family dinner together before going home.

Mummy's daily routine started the next morning. Emeryn went out for the daycare's outing too. On and off Emeryn spent her day at Theng Ee Ee's house when mummy was at work. On Fri evening, mummy and Uncle Leonard made themselves a so-called candlelight dinner at home while Emeryn was still at Ee Ee's house.

On Sat, mummy sent Emeryn to Por Por's house where she overnight there while mummy and Uncle Leonard went out for a dinner at Hard Rock Cafe followed by a movie date. The next morning, mummy went over to Por Por's house to pick Emeryn to her Maths tuition. It was her first tuition class, in preparation of 2018. We hang out at Por Por's house after the class before going home.

London & Europe Trip

We were away for our first ever long trip to London & around Europe. We flew from Penang to KL on 26th Nov, Sun 6.50am and waited till 7.20pm before we finally boarded our flight from KL to London. In between, the lay over was in Dubai. The whole journey took about 18hours+ inclusive the transit. We touched down at Heathrow at 7.10am, passed the immigration and boarded the booked bus transfer to Victoria Coach station. In an hour time we reached the station but we took much longer time to find our accommodation even though it was quite near.

We were so lucky that we don't encounter jet lag at all. We survived the whole day without getting a rest but finally surrender when we were at the Apollo Theatre watching Wicked. Emeryn was too tired and she basically slept through 80% of the screening time.

London was our first destination and we spent 2 days there before taking an overnight coach to Amsterdam. From there we spent 3 days and flew to Munich before taking a train to Salzburg. Emeryn left her Patrick doggie at Munich and mummy had tried her best contacting the hotel but they can't find it. Emeryn was devastated beyond words and cried. Patrick was so precious to her and yet we left "him" behind. Upon reaching Salzburg we were greeted by the snow fall. The next day we experienced snow storm at Hallstatt and it was a beautiful experience for us even though it was our second time experiencing snow. Next we headed to Venice, the romantic city via an overnight train. We went on a half day tour to Murano, Burano and Torcedo. From Venice we took another train to Florence and the next day we visited Pisa, the leaning tower. We took a train to Rome before flying to Paris. Our last destination was back to London before flying home. 

The whole trip took us 21days and we finally reached KL on 17th Dec and mummy's cousin came and pick us to their house. We went for a quick supper and went back for a quick refreshment and managed to grab few hours of sleep before heading back to the airport again in order to fly home. We reached Penang at 11am and mummy took the day off.

The trip was indeed tiring with us lugging our luggage around and moving from place to place. Nevertheless it was such an experience and eye opener for us. We will definitely be back again.

 Wag N Romp Dog Cafe

We visited 2 different dog cafes on last weekend. On Sat, mummy fetched Emeryn and Karise from tuition and we headed to JDog for dinner. We spent at least 3hours there before leaving. The husky dog there were really huge.

On Sun after attending Cambridge Class, we headed over to Por Por's house for our usual visit. Carmen Ee Ee was in Penang and dated us for a drink. We went over to Wag N Romp as Shiro was around too. It was our first visit there. This round Emeryn wasn't too scare to go near the pups and even Baby Will braved himself to touch the dogs.

Ah Kong was hospitalized for the second time when he went for his follow up. He was having numbness on his fingers and doctor suggested another mri and a minor surgery on his hand. Ah Kong kept it a secret about his surgery until it was all over. His mri shows further bone spur on his neck. He discharged 2 days later on Thurs. Ah Kong was very depressed knowing his condition which may deteriorate further and worst case may cause immobility. In order to cheer him up, we arranged an ad-hoc birthday dinner for him since it was his birthday. Mummy drove to town after picking Emeryn from daycare. Uncle Leonard joined us as well.

On Fri nite, mummy received a missed call from Theng Ee Ee while she was sleeping. Mummy called back and only to realized that Ah Kong nearly collapsed. Mummy called Por Por to check on Ah Kong. Eventually Ah Kong took an overdose medicine of his high blood pressure. Ah Kong shocked all of us, probably one hell of roller coaster he gave us, never before. Mummy had a sleepless night and felt uneasy after hearing Ah Kong's sudden health condition.

On Sat morning we drove few places only to find a photo shop to have a passport size photo at P. Ramlee road. After getting the photo, Emeryn had a quick brunch before we head over to check on Ah Kong. He looked much better now. Uncle Leonard arrived 15mins later and fetched both Ah Kong & Por Por to his brother in law's clinic to sought for a second opinion and to check on Ah Kong's condition. Mummy and Emeryn went to the post office at Tesco eGate to courier the hair for donation. We had a quick grocery shopping before sending Emeryn to tuition. After the tuition, mummy and Uncle Leonard went to pick the girls and we head over to QBM. We went to Nando's for dinner and a quick stop at Daiso before going home. Upon reaching home, mummy revised with Emeryn as she will be having her last Cambridge exam the next day before going to bed.

Emeryn attended her Cambridge class on Sun morning. After the class we went over to Por Por's house. Uncle Leonard drove mummy's car and he went with us to Por Por's house for lunch before dropping mummy to 1st Avenue for facial. We went back to Por Por's house after the facial before going home.

Bad Flood Hits Us

We haven't been really visited cafe for a meal or a drink lately. So mummy decided to go to 2F Coffee for our dinner on Fri. After all, it was Fri nite. Mummy brought along her notebook as she wanted do some research on our Europe itinerary since the trip is drawing near. We went home at about 10pm.

On Sat, Emeryn started her new Eng tuition at Bestari, so mummy dropped her at tuition by 2pm. Mummy went for a quick lunch before head over to the hair salon. She had her hair perm and it costed a bomb, RM640. Mummy left her car at Sg Ara and Uncle Leonard came fetching mummy before they both fetch Emeryn & Karise from Bestari. Unfortunately it has rained non stop since 11am and the water level has risen so high that it flooded. Uncle Leonard's car was badly affected however we have no choice but to continue driving in order to fetch the kids. The water level has reached near to the knee level. We braved through the huddle and settled down at Mc D for dinner while waiting for the situation to get better. We were lucky as we reached home safely and the car doesn't create any problem. This was the first time we encounter such tragedy.

The next morning, mummy & Uncle Leonard dropped Emeryn at Cambridge before going for breakfast, and then dropped Karise to tuition. Very unfortunate that mummy's car battery was dead and Uncle Leonard has to walked to nearby car workshop to get a new one. Mummy's hero dismantled and install the new battery all on his own. We then headed over to Cambridge to pick Emeryn. We bought lunch home for Emeryn. We went home for a quick refreshment  before sending Emeryn to Theng Ee Ee's house as mummy went out for a date with Uncle Leonard at QBM. They went for lunch at TGIF and proceeded to do some shopping. Mummy bought 2pcs of tees for Baby Will and a X'mas suit for our new family addition, baby cousin. We picked Emeryn around 7pm and brought dinner home.

Ah Kong was hospitalized following his pain on the hips after consulting the doctor on Mon morning. Mummy visited Ah Kong during her lunch hour before fetching Emeryn from school to daycare. In the evening after fetching Emeryn from daycare, we headed to LWE to visit Ah Kong and later brought Por Por out for dinner before going home. Every morning, mummy brought breakfast for Por Por to the hospital as she was taking care of Ah Kong overnight.

On Wed evening, we headed over to Smiggle at Queensbay as mummy wanted to grab the Halloween goodies. At the same time, we bought a small backpack for Baby Will's 2nd Birthday. We won't be around during his birthday, thus we give it to him as an advanced birthday gift. Instead of having our dinner at QBM, we bought home packed dinner as Emeryn wanted to catch her daily Malay movie.

Mummy dropped Emeryn to school on Sat morning for her extra co-curricular activities. After dropping her at school, mummy went for breakfast alone before sending Ah Kong to LWE for his physiotherapy session. While waiting to pick up Ah Kong, mummy went back home and dropped Uncle Leonard to collect his car after the car service. Uncle Leonard lend Ah Kong's motorbike as he wanted to join the prayer possession in the evening, to avoid the massive jam.  Mummy picked up Emeryn from school before fetching Ah Kong from LWE. We headed home after dropped Ah Kong and had lunch at home before Emeryn attended her BM tuition later in the afternoon.

Emeryn attended her Cambridge Class on Sun morning before we went to Por Por's house for lunch. At about 3.30pm, Karise came over and we all got ready for the Halloween Trick & Treat at Straits Quay. Mummy helped both of them to paint their face. They had a light meal before we went to SQ. Upon reaching SQ, we were shocked to see the long queue for registration. Somehow we braced through the long queue and started the game not long after. After running here and there in the mall, the girls finally got all the stamps and submitted. Luckily they were the last few of the top 100 to complete. We waited for 20mins for the prize giving before having our meal at Winter Warmers. We went home at about 10.15pm. It was definitely a tiring game but worth all the run especially when they collected many goodies.
