As we have been eating out for quite sometimes, we run out of idea what to have for dinner. At times like that, we crave for some home-cook. On Thurs, mummy had an urge to cook spagetthi. As soon as we reached home, mummy started to get busy in the kitchen. Emeryn offered help. She then helped to mince the chicken. When she has completed her task, she left the minced chicken in a heart shape on the chopping board. See how creative she can be. And of course, how sweet too. Mummy purposely cooked more of the spagetthi, so we both can bring some to school and office for the the next day.

On Fri morning, Ah Kong and Ah Ma sent Emeryn to school. That morning itself, Emeryn has some complaint of being tired and not getting enough sleep. Mummy didn't pay much attention to her and dismissed her grunt. Later at about 8.40am, mummy received a call from Emeryn from school saying that she was having fever and needed to go home. Mummy asked daddy to pick Emeryn from school and then sent her to Ah Ma's daycare. At 12pm mummy went over to Ah Ma's daycare and brought Emeryn to the clinic. As her condition ain't too bad, mummy decided to sent Emeryn to her daycare. Mummy left office at 5pm and brought Emeryn home. She looked fine and even wanted to go for a swim which we had planned earlier. At first, mummy refused but later gave in to her request. After the swim, we went for dinner with mummy's friend. We went to One World and had porridge for dinner. After the dinner, Emeryn's condition got worsen and her fever is coming back. We quickly rushed home and took medicine before she went to bed.

On Sat morning, her fever was still bad and mummy allowed her to sleep in though we are supposed to go to Lam Wah Ee for mummy's follow up. We ended reaching LWE at about 11am and waited till 12.40pm before mummy's turn to get an ultrasound. After the ultrasound, mummy's doctor has left the clinic and mummy was unable to consult him. Co-incidentally Ah Kong was at LWE as well for his check up, he brought Emeryn out for a quick lunch while mummy settles the bill. After the lunch, we drove home as Emeryn badly needed more rest to recover.

Emeryn got much better on the next day and attended her last Cambridge Class as usual. After her class, we went to Por Por's house as usual. Emeryn only managed to play with Baby Will for a short moment before Theng Ee Ee brought him out for an outing.

Mummy took half day leave in the afternoon on Friday to spent some time with Emeryn before mummy leave for her Sales Convention on Sat morning. After picking Emeryn from school, we headed to downtown and had our lunch at Shunka. It started to drizzle as soon as we stepped into the restaurant. We had a quick Japanese lunch before heading to Tech Dome @ Komtar. By the time we reached the entrance of Tech Dome, it was already 2.45pm.

Tech Dome is Penang's very own Science Discovery Centre located at Komtar to create a hub for technology learning. We paid a total of RM32 for the entrance ticket (RM20 for adult and RM12 for child). Mummy wasn't too keen on science and technology and hardly comprehend the usage of the machines there. Luckily there were many helpful staff explaining and showing us around. Emeryn got to skipped the wall climbing as she was wearing only slippers and human gyro due to the minimum heights requirement. Nevertheless we had a lot of fun exploring cool stuffs together. Emeryn also bumped into her schoolmate, Celine and they play together for awhile before the place closed for the day. G-Drop is the most scariest game there which we choose to skipped. When Emeryn has gathered enough courage to try G-Drop, the session was already closed. We left at 6pm right after the closing announcement.

After leaving Komtar, mummy drove to Lorong Ikan which is supposed to have a lot of Pokemons to catch but to our dismay, we only caught a handful of it. We then drove to Karpal Singh on the way to dinner. Emeryn took out her skateboard and played while mummy tailed from behind slowly, catching Pokemons. We then went to Kitchen 23 @ Elit Avenue for dinner before heading home. As soon as we reached home, we quickly showered and get ourselves readied before mummy dropped Emeryn at Pekaka. Emeryn choose to stay at Pekaka while mummy was away.

Early next morning, mummy flew to KL with her colleague. From her office in KL, they went on a coach to Malacca for their Malaysia team building and Sales Convention the next day. Mummy emerged as the first runner up again for her superb sales performance. She has been bagging such awards for years. My mummy, my hero. Mummy flew back from Malacca and reached home around 5.30pm. By 8.30pm mummy picked Emeryn home from Beena Kor Kor's place.

Another conversation, I said I've reached Malacca. She said "Good". I asked why is it good??? I thought it was just some lame answer as she was busy enjoying herself. Turned out she said "Good because you've reached safely". These are some very sweet side of her.

Revision Week

We finally received our online order for Emeryn's boots. It fits her perfectly and mummy is going to grab the same pair for herself too. On Sat morning, mummy dropped Emeryn to school for her extra co-curriculum activities. Emeryn requested for a comic book from mummy and we then headed to Popular, eGate. She was filled with happiness when she found the comic she wanted so badly. After some series of serious revision, mummy allowed her to relax by reading comic thou mummy found the content of the comic may not be 100% suitable. Well, it's a part of growing up process, thus mummy gave green lights. We had our lunch at Mc Donalds before going home.

At home, we did revision again as the school exam is just 2 days later. In the evening, we went out for family dinner as Toki Ee Ee and Sherine Ee Ee were around. After the dinner, we casually drove to Karpal Singh Drive and were really surprise to see such a huge crowd hanging out there catching Pokemons. We just drove around and managed to catch few new Pokemons before heading home.

On Sun, Emeryn attended Cambridge Class as usual and we continued with revisions when there is enough time. In the evening, we had dinner with Toki Ee Ee before she flew back to Singapore.

Home Cooked - Always The Best

On Fri after work, mummy had an ad-hoc plan to cook for dinner, so off she went to Giant to get some food ingredients before fetching Emeryn from the daycare. We have been having outside food for few years already and we are longing for simple yet healthy home cooked. Day by day, mummy is improving on her cooking skills. Although she still can't cook variety of dishes, but she is improving on the dishes she cooks. Slowly but surely, that's what mummy said. This round mummy managed to prepare 2 dishes and a soup in just 40mins. Bravo!!! Emeryn has never failed to give compliments on mummy's cooking and even encourage mummy to cook more frequent. That's what keeps mummy going.

The next morning, while on the bed Emeryn asked mummy what time will she wakes up. Mummy randomly answer 10am. As soon as mummy woke up later and walked to the living hall, mummy's daily coffee is ready on the coffee table complete with a small note from Emeryn. How sweet!!! After the quick breakfast, mummy started getting herself busy in the kitchen again, preparing lunch. After having our lunch, we spent some time together finishing Emeryn's school homework and do some revision.

Emeryn attended her Cambridge class as usual on Sun before we went over to Por Por's house for our usual Sun visit. Emeryn's main reason going over to Por Por's house now is to see Baby Will and to spend time playing with the lil' bubly.

Mummy's Company Retreat

We were early on Tues so we went for a quick breakfast before mummy sent Emeryn to school. While on Sat mummy was away for her company retreat at Batu Ferringhi. Early in the morning, Ah Kong and Por Por came over to our house to pick Emeryn as she was supposed to stay with them while mummy is away.

Emeryn spent her whole afternoon hanging out with Ah Kong and Por Por until they went to fetch Baby Will. They also brought Emeryn to Popular and she requested them to buy her a comic. Later in the evening, all of them went over to Baby Will's baby sitter's place to pick him home. After going off from work, Theng Ee Ee brought Baby Will back to her home and Emeryn tagged along. That night Emeryn slept alone in a different room. The next morning, she went for breakfast with them before Ah Kong & Por Por came over. They brought their home-cooked lunch for Emeryn before sending her to Cambridge class.

After mummy's company retreat ended, she went over to Por Por's place and later brought home some dishes for our dinner. Mummy picked Emeryn from her class before we headed home together.
