We had a short break to Sekinchan & Genting in view of the Hari Raya Haji holiday. We started our journey from Penang as early as 6.30am and reached Ipoh by 8am or so. We went to mummy's cousin place for breakfast before continuing our journey to Sekinchan. Originally mummy wanted to visit the Sky Mirror at Kuala Selangor as well but it was just the wrong timing as we can only visit during the low tide. We reached Sekinchan Redang Beach around11am and the girls spent some time collecting sea shells before we leave for lunch. We waited for Carmen Ee Ee while having our lunch at the seafood restaurant.She then joined us for the rest of the tour after our lunch.
We visited Ah Ma's house, paddy gallery and lastly making a pit-stop at Mango King to quenched our thirst before continuing our journey to KL.We reached our Airbnb location at about 5.15pm and waited for awhile before we got the instruction for check in. After a quick refreshment we went to Sunway Pyramid as Emeryn wanted to do ice skating. We only had 1 hour left at the skating rink before it closes at 8pm. Emeryn was all alone in the skating rink while mummy lingered outside while waiting. Emeryn still unable to skate independently and she was only walking surrounding the skating rink by holding the side handle. She absolutely needs a professional coach to train her. After the skating part, we went nearby to a gathering with mummy's cousin sis. We finally got to try the most-talked about drink at town, Xin Fu Tang during the gathering and had a quick bite of yong tau foo by the road side. It was really late when we got back to the Airbnb, showered and call it a nite past 12am.

We woke up early the next morning in preparation of the check out and then headed for breakfast at a random place at Setapak while on our way to Genting Highlands. We reached Genting before 11am and luckily there wasn't any traffic jam other than the heavy mist surrounding the hill. The room check in was only after 3pm, thus we brought the kids to the indoor theme park first. After purchasing the ticket along with the snow world entrance, the kids early queued up for their 1st ride. While mummy was supervising them in the queue, Uncle Leonard went and queued for the next attraction so that the kids don't have to wait long for their next ride. The queuing process continued till we went for lunch. We only managed to have our lunch by 2.30pm at Madam Kwan's. After lunch, they both continued to the Snow World while the adults went for the check in. Check in was unsuccessful as we wanted a connecting room. After much hassle, we got 2 rooms at the same level but not too near to each other. The kids continued with few repeated rides before we moved to the room and they both had a nap until 7pm. We went to the theme park again after nap and they both enjoyed the repeated rides again till our late dinner. We ended their rides by 11pm and walked back to the hotel.
Again we woke up early on the next morning and started our journey by 8am or so as we wanted to avoid the festive jam. Besides, Uncle Leonard also needs to rush for his evening flight. Since we have ample time, we stopped by at Ipoh for late lunch before heading home. That evening, Emeryn attended her BM tuition class.
