Emeryn stayed overnite at granny’s place on Fri nite as mummy had an outing with fellow colleagues... While on Sat, mummy brought emeryn to Parkson at Prangin Mall in the evening as mummy needs to redeem the bonus link points before its expiry...It was rather late when we reached home and emeryn slept right after having her milk...

On Sun mummy decided to bring emeryn to a beach outing again rather than spending a dull afternoon at home...We reached Crown Jewel at around 2pm. It was a bright sunny day as we walked along the beach heading to Paradise Sandy Bay...It was rather crowded for a typical Sunday...Seems like there are some lunch function going on by the hotel poolside...The beach ain’t empty like usual and many outstation tourists flooded the beach side...Emeryn brought along her beach-tools and started playing around alone while mummy was busy capturing her lil’ sweetheart’s precious moments. :)

After awhile playing on her own, emeryn walked towards a lil’ boy... Coincidentally the boy was playing sand alone while his daddy was sitting besides watching him...Both of them can’t converse but yet they still play along fine. :) According to the daddy, they were from Australia and are coming here for a vacation before heading to Britian.. The boy named Alex and he was 18mths old, a month older than emeryn...Alex has a fair skin, blonde hair and doll-look-alike look...What a cute lil’ boy??? Both emeryn & alex played for quite sometime under the hot sun...Emeryn loves pouring sand on alex’s not knowing that it could irritate him... Mummy got to watch closely and warned emeryn not to play rough...

We went to Baskin Robin @ Pulau Tikus before heading to granny’s house...Emeryn had a scoop of sunset sorbet. On her first attempt on the sorbet, her face turned awful as the sorbet tasted sour...Later on, emeryn seems to enjoy it a lot and demand for more...She tried to scoop the ice cream and feed on her own again. :) We spend about 2hours at granny’s place before dropping ee ee to work... We then proceed to Tesco with granny while grandpa waited for us over there..Emeryn excitingly wanted to ride on the kiddy-ride and refused to leave...Mummy bought a new tooth brush and kodomo lion tooth paste for emeryn as she has developed more teeth than before.. Her teeth are getting yellowish at times as she refused not to brush with her old tooth brush...

Emeryn was feeling very sleepy and exhausted by the time we left Tesco and she can’t stop yawning...Poor baby!!! She fell asleep in the car while mummy was driving home...Upon reaching home, mummy helped her to shower and feed her with some chicken porridge before putting her to bed...While bathing emeryn, mummy noticed that emeryn had minor sunburn. Her arms were getting tanned than previously...Emeryn slept at 8.30pm...By 12am, emeryn suddenly walked off to the living hall from the bedroom and sat on the floor... Mummy was shocked seeing it. Thought the lil' girl is having sleep-walking...Mummy then called emeryn and then she hugged mummy.. Phew !!! She just woke up out of nowhere and mummy put her back to the bed..Sweet dream, baby…

Merry Merry X'mas

Ho..Ho..Ho.. It’s Christmas...Yuhoo... On X’mas day, mummy was busy shopping for annual dinner’s costume and left emeryn at pekaka... Poor baby!!! As for X’mas present, mummy bought emeryn a doll... It’s a girl doll with long hair... We named her Candy as that was the name printed on her dress... Hehe. At times emeryn tends to love Candy a lot and she would kiss her continuously... But at times she would throw Candy to the floor...

We (mummy, emeryn, kor-kor and chik-chik) went to a relative’s house warming at Bkt Mertajam on X’mas day...We reached about 7pm and went home about 9pm as emeryn was feeling sleepy with her teary eyes and her big yawns... Granny and grandpa went to Xiamen for a short holiday and will be home on 25^th nite...They bought emeryn 2 pair of shoe... They were so nice…

Another weekend has gone...Earlier mummy planned to bring emeryn out for a picnic on Thurs (public holiday) but too bad the weather disallowed us from continuing our plan..Thus we spent the day at home instead...On Fri, mummy brought emeryn to the clinic for her 18mths injection... This round she turned out having fever :( Again mummy has to be very watchful towards her and got to sacrifice some outings...Mummy will have a heartache each time fever strikes on emeryn..The phobia of her past fits is still haunting...

On Sun, emeryn spent the weekend at granny’ place while mummy was out shopping at Island Plaza...Lucky her fever was gone by Sun...Emeryn took her afternoon nap at granny’s place as well..We bought home dinner and spent the rest of the evening at home..As for dinner, emeryn had 70% of a tau-sar pao...The rest of the 30% was finished by mummy...Haha..

Emeryn now could feed herself...She holds the “pao” using both of her hands and enjoying it on her own...No doubt, she still messes up the area around but glad to know she is independent enough to be on her own.. She too can take off her diapers and pants on her own during her bathing time...Emeryn can wear her shoe on her own as well but of course she still can’t differentiate the correct side.. She can do a lot of things on her own by now... My lil’ independent princess is growing up fast and daddy has missed most of those precious growing up moment... Sigh :(

Boring Weekend

On Sat, we went back to LWE to settle the insurance claim for emeryn’s admission earlier on...Emeryn was running around and look so happy seeing all those Christmas tree decorations... She even plucked them off from the tree.. Opsiee!!! Mummy got to prevent her from doing so before any of the staff notice it..Later mummy send emeryn to grandma’s and mummy spend the whole afternoon hibernating at home while watching Chinese series... Stealing some time off from being a mummy J Daddy called home and talked a lil’ while with his lil’ sweetheart...Seems like both daddy & daughter is downed with running nose and cough... :(

While on Sun, emeryn woke up at 7.10am. After having her breakfast, mummy bathed emeryn...Emeryn was having great bathing time while playing with the sea-shell in the bathroom.. Later we went to Jelutong Market for a walk and to get us lunch. It was a hot and sunny day...We sweat a lot and emeryn get agitated at times...Mummy got to carry the heavy10kg emeryn walking around, fearing she might lose mummy’s sight if leaving her walking alone.. Good exercise huh??? Tiring outing to the market.. Daddy called again while mummy is driving...

Emeryn took a nap after having some fried economy bee hoon and banana... We went to Queensbay for a walk before heading to granny’s home...Again mummy got to carry emeryn around...This time she refused to walk on her own and wanting mummy to carry her all the time.. Maybe she senses the privilege of being pamper and carry around like other big babies...Hehe... We went to Toy “R” Us and emeryn kept on pushing the stroller with a baby on it... She absolutely enjoys doing so...A lot of people look at her pushing the pram in the store...Mummy quickly snapped the funny moment...Might consider the pram as her Christmas present. :)

We drove to granny’s home after that...Emeryn had porridge and some desert over there...As usual, she will explore and wander all around the house.. We went home about 5.30pm...The boring hours started when we reached home. Our house is so empty. Only mummy & emeryn!!! Mummy played with emeryn after the shower and gosh, it’s only 6.45pm...Then mummy drove emeryn to KFC’s indoor playground to unwind herself and bought dinner home...Reached home about 8.15pm and emeryn had her milk before dozing off to sleep..She only slept once through the afternoon... Thus she is extremely tired and sleeps so early...Then it’s time for mummy’s dinner and own time...How we wish daddy is around, so that daddy could accompany emeryn as well. Daddy, we miss you a lot. :(

17months Update

Emeryn can only utter the 1^st word in a sentence. Her vocabulary is not expanding much. At her 17months, she was hospitalized a day for high fever and fits. Doctor allowed her to go home at night and come back to the hospital on the next morning as she hardly settle herself well in the 6-bedded ward. Her body must be failed to tolerate her over-dosage chocolate intake. She loves consuming chocolates and ice cream so much now that she still maintains her chubby look. She has become more picky and particular on certain food. She dislikes plain water but instead opt for cold and sweet drink. She weighs at 10kg now.

Now she becomes more sociable and loves to start a conversation even to stranger. She always has the charm and charisma to make anyone pay attention to her and her funny lil’ gesture. Mummy brought her for dinner at Mizi Bistro 2weeks ago and emeryn caught big attention from a bunch of people in the restaurant. They even treat emeryn a slice of cake. Back then, emeryn had a lot of ice cream. She loves showing her teeth while smiling. Now she has 6 upper teeth and 6 lower teeth. She could bite and chew better now. Emeryn can also finish a whole bun by herself and holding it on her own as well. Good appetite huh?

She can run and climb by now. She loves climbing the grill door and the chair to reach out for food. Ever since she was hospitalized, she become naughtier and insists everyone of us to give in to her demands. She would throw tantrum and a make a big fuss if she is in a bad mood. Perhaps she was sick and needed some comfort and affection. By now she could say:

• Go-go-go (when mummy ask her to go out from the room)
• Ball ball
• Ho…. (pointing her finger as in warning someone)
• Take
• Pat pom (imitate the sound effect of falling down to the ground)
• Ting (imitate the sound of the lift)
• Oh (open)

Admitted to LWE

Emeryn spent the last weekend at pekaka as mummy was out of town for a team building in Bkt Merah... For the past 2 weeks, emeryn was staying with only mummy as kakak needs to take care of ah chor... Emeryn was having a slight fever while mummy fetched her home on Sun evening..Her fever rose a lil’ by 12 midnite and mummy fed her with another dosage of panadol...Every 2 hours mummy got to wake up to make sure emeryn’s condition is still under control...

Emeryn’s temperature gets higher in the morning so mummy decided to bring emeryn to LWE for a check... Her temperature was 38.5 and she was given a medicine to be placed in her anus to bring down her temperature... While waiting for the doctor’s prescription, Emeryn had her milk... After seconds of emptying her milk, she was having fits (tarik) and was again send to the emergency room for further aid...My goodness, it strikes for the second time since last June.. Mummy stood helplessly and vulnerably whiles the doctor and nurse giving her oxygen and wipes her body with cold water...The same old eerie feeling haunts mummy again.. Frightened and numb!!! And daddy was worried sick...

Then later emeryn got to be admitted for further ordeal...Luckily her fever has gone by noon and doc said she could go home on tomorrow... Emeryn was weeping, screaming and feeling cranky all the time in the hospital...Perhaps she hates this place so much that she wanted to go home... At times she was happily playing in the indoor playground and at sudden, she could cry hysterically.. Her mood swings faster than lightning...

Mummy got to carry her around along with the notebook in the backpack up to 30mins before she fell asleep... Phew!!! She is now sleeping soundly and mummy is sitting besides her typing away... Poor baby, please get well soon…

Last Sun was the day mummy spend 24hours taking care of emeryn... No particular outing last weekend as mummy got to wake up as early as Emeryn at 7am and could only sleep at 1.30am... So it was a tiring weekend for mummy..Mummy also helped to trim Emeryn’s fringe and fought through it...Emeryn doesn’t allow mummy to trim her hair and was making a big ruckus over it. She wanted to hold the scissor and help herself... Mummy cooked porridge with potato for emeryn’s lunch and we went to granny’s house after lunch... Emeryn was busy exploring every inch and edge of granny’s house and making fun with granny, grandpa and ee ee...She even climbs up to the grill door... We spent about 2hours there and headed home as Emeryn needed a nap before attending another wedding dinner with mummy. We dropped by at Anakku boutique to see if there’s any special member’s redemption on the way home... We ended going home empty handed. Hehe :)

Emeryn took a nap while mummy gets dressed up for the dinner... Later mummy woke emeryn up and helped her with her shower and went off to the dinner...No baby seat was available at the dinner’s place and mummy got to clutch emeryn on the lap and at times emeryn got to sit on the chair. She was walking and running all around the hall and loves climbing the stairs up to the stage... Mummy got to chase her around, tailing her like her own shadow...Being a mother for a 16months really need a lot of stamina, endurance and resilience. ..Yes, it’s stamina after all!!! She is such an active and vigorous baby for walking and running non-stop... She even walked across the basketball court while the big boys were having their games on. How daring and heroic??? Perhaps she doesn’t know the pain until the ball thud her down...

We reached home about 11pm and emeryn slept after having her feed.. Daddy called home later about 12am but emeryn was sleeping soundly by then... Safe & sound...

To PaPa with LOVE

On the last check up, emeryn weighs 10.7kg... She emerges taller as well and mummy could only notice it when her long pants turned so much shorter... These few days mummy stayed with only emeryn as kakak is staying at granny’s place to take care of ah chor... Ah chor fell down one morning and was admitted for a routine check... Thank God, she is doing well now but having some slight walking difficulties...And it’s the time again for mummy to do everything from feeding, bathing, washing, cleaning, playing and putting emeryn to sleep... All these have not been hassle me so much since a year ago after hiring my maid... Well, it’s a good time for mother-daughter bonding too... Its 12.10am now and emeryn has just fallen off from the bed. It’s mummy’s mistake for not securing some pillow by the bed side. Emeryn cried for a lil’ while and fell asleep soon after... Careless mummy :(

It has been 2.5months since daddy left and yet Emeryn still have a very bright & fond memory of daddy...Emeryn has been chatting to daddy almost every single day via online webcam.. Thanks to the advance technology for having invented such a useful tool. :) Else I bet emeryn wouldn’t recall a slight glimpse of daddy by now... Emeryn has been calling PaPa PaPa PaPa non-stop seeing daddy on the webcam... Emeryn starts calling PaPa even the online connection has yet to establish..She must have missed him a lot, really a lot!!! Emeryn has been calling PaPa so often but not calling MaMa that often...

Mummy spent more time playing with Emeryn these few days... Just like earlier, we have been playing kok-kok-beh again... Mummy gets really weary but Emeryn insisted to go on... She would pull mummy’s leg and start rocking..How could I resist her lil’ demand??? Thus, the game was on!!! Worst still, emeryn would sit on mummy’s tummy and nag on it with her whole weight... She would laugh out loud when mummy pretends to be in pain...

Mummy also sang emeryn’s old time fav, Old Mc Donald while putting emeryn to bed... At times, emeryn will roam around, jumping on the bed, throwing pillows and all her toys to the floor and then pick it up again and repeat it for several times until she gets exhausted... Sometimes mummy just lay besides watching emeryn in action and emeryn would come near and give mummy a kiss on the lips or cheeks. It was such a great moment receiving a kiss without needing to ask for it and especially it’s from my darling baby...

Emeryn now learns to feed herself... Sometimes she would feed her lil’ toys with drinking water and even her own pacifier...Looking at it crack a huge smile on me..She would pronounce “mom mom” and put her pacifier on her doggie toy’s mouth.. She would also help to comb her doggie’s fur...

Well, motherhood wholly is an eye opener for me... Becoming a mother, I have grown up a lot.. I learned to tolerate imperfects.. I learned to manage anger..I learned to sacrifice. I learned to love...I have never love someone so much before I have my lil’ emeryn... I have never been so protective over someone else before... No one else has been so significant in my life before and impact on any of my decision making until the day I have my Emeryn.. She is utterly my everything, my world, my life, my soul and my flesh... I felt blessed to have such a beautiful daughter... Emeryn, mummy loves you a lot... Muaks...
