29th Oct - It's daddy's birthday... It's daddy's 2nd birthday with emeryn around.. But too bad we can't be there physically for daddy.. Mummy & Emeryn is wishing daddy a very Happy Birthday... Hope we could celebrate daddy's next birthday with us here..

New Friend & "God Daughter" of Kuan Yim

The title sounds interesting huh??? Finally on emeryn's 15th month, she found her 1st boy-friend, a neighbour who lives opposite us... Guess the boy is about 4years old and pardon me for not knowing his name... All this while when we come in and out from our house, the lil' boy will surely open his house door and try to talk to emeryn... On the other hand, when emeryn hears the boy talking from his house, emeryn will walk towards our house door and show some body language asking us to open the door for her coz she still can't reach the door knob... Isn't that we call is first crush??? Haha...

Finally one evening, the boy's mummy invited emeryn over to play with them... Emeryn went over with kakak and played for almost an hour there...She was having a real good time as she loves playing with kids so much that she could cry whenever they parted... Ever since that evening, the lil' boy would invite emeryn over for a play time whenever he sees us coming in and out from our place... That's so cute of them..

Yesterday mummy bought emeryn 2 sets of Barbie FairyTopia from Tesco. Their names were Sunburst & Glee... And also stock up emeryn's milk powder since the price would increase next month.. It cost mummy a hefty RM409 for 10 big tins of Promise Gold..

Emeryn is taking a nap now after coming back from the temple... Today is the Birthday of Kuan Yim and we decided to let emeryn become the "god-daughter" of Kuan Yim (Chinese custom)... We went to the temple along with grandma and kor-kor... We had our brunch before heading home.. Waiting for emeryn to wakes up and soon going to E-Gate to meet mummy's friend over a cup of coffee..Aunty ChiYit bought emeryn a Tom & Jerry comforter. Thank you so muchie...

Swimming Time

Mummy brought emeryn for a swim again after work. It has been long since emeryn last went for a swim. Her lil' friend, hui ying was there as well...She looked so intense in the pool and needed much time to warm herself up the other day...and mummy wore her new swim suit.. hehe

Emeryn doesn't seem to like using her life boay anymore but instead prefer to be carry by mummy in the pool... well, she is a lil' clingy nowadays... Again she tried to scoop some water into her mouth and doing some funny action while standing on the pool side to cheer us up... We went to pasar malam after that to get some biscuit for emeryn and dinner for mummy... while mummy was driving, emeryn fed mummy with some biscuit.. how sweet... and also share her portion with HY... We went home right after buying all those stuff as it started to rain...

Rocky Dog & Marker Pen

Last week, mummy bought Emeryn a new story book entitles "Rocky Dog" from Border... Mummy chooses a few books which related to Dog (emeryn’s fav pet animal)... Then out of those few selection, Emeryn selected "Rocky Dog" which attracts her by its sound on the last page... In deed it's quite costly...

And also a new set of 10 marker pens with stamper on the other side which emeryn can do her drawing (a so-called drawing of course) and stamp using it... It came with different stamper on each pen... Let's see what's Emeryn first creative art is soon...

13th Oct, 7.10am we (mummy, grandpa, grandma, kor-kor, chik-chik and kakak) started our journey to Hatyai. The highway was certainly a good day to travel but we were almost reached the Thai border, it shocked us with such a long queue. We finally reached the border check point at about 11am or so and waited till about 1pm under the hot sun.. Huh, what a bad day!!! Emeryn was sweating heavily and feeling uneasy. Later we decided to cancel the trip and drove to Changloon and had our lunch there. Before driving home, we headed to Padang Besar and perhaps do a lil’ shopping rather than going home empty handed.

To our surprise, the check point border at Padang Besar was totally empty.. Wow… then we decided again Hatyai is our destination.. Uh la la… We reached the hotel at around 4pm and headed to Lea Garden after having a nice shower. For the first time Emeryn sat on the tut-tut (the so-called taxi).. She was so anxious and keeps looking around… Mummy bought two dresses for herself and three pants for emeryn…that’s all the lil’ shopping mummy did…While waiting for grandpa & grandma finish their massage, emeryn had her time in the McDonald indoor playground. We went back to the hotel after having our dinner.

The next day we had our late breakfast in another hotel after grandma went to buy some souvenirs and food. We went sightseeing on the peak of Hatyai (temple) and too some photo there. Later grandpa drove along the beach side of Songkla and we headed home after that. We had dinner together when reached Penang. Last but not least we are back to our home sweet home and called daddy. Yet Emeryn still refuse to call PaPa.. Daddy must upset and disappointed. 

Emeryn was left in her baby crib alone after having her milk and eventually she climbed from her crib and fell off and landed herself on the floor. She cried so loud that it pains her a lot. Poor girl.. Luckily she is unhurt.

Mummy's Confession

 

Yesterday Emeryn cried non stop from grandma's place till we reached home...She cried because grandpa restricted her from doing something naughty... and yet she can't get over it and cried loudly... She was yelling and screaming all the way home.. Mummy thought of it's time to discipline emeryn before thing get worst. Upon reaching home, mummy brought emeryn to mummy's room and took out a big ruler and spanked her backside, her hands and her legs... Mummy talked nicely and warned emeryn not to be naughty but she couldn't listen further and keep on crying.. Her body was turned slightly reddish from the spanking... She stood up and hugged mummy after that... Poor girl!!!! If daddy is here, i'm sure daddy will stop mummy from those foolish acts.

Mummy brought her out from the room as she needed a sleep soon... she was crying endlessly while having her milk.. Later mummy walked into her room and tried to talk to her but she refused to response to mummy... She might be angry....Oh boy, i seriously need to be patient and need more guidance on how to discipline my lil' girl... I knew spanking is not the right way to educate a child but i've tried to do all i can... At most time, i will turn into a blind eye if i failed to talk to her and when she did not response on my way of educating... Wat a foolish mum i am???

How i wish there is a handy manual for each 1st time mum on how to educate & discipline a child, how to deal when a child throw tantrum and how to make them listen to the adults??? Come to think of it, i always thought i've been such a wonderful mum and in actual fact i guess i'm not doing the right way...I failed terribly...

I bought dozen of books for emeryn but hardly finish all of them with emeryn as she is not paying attention while mummy is trying to read for her... Is there anything wrong with me??? No doubt i've provided emeryn the best in material but emotional wise, i guess i'm not doing enough to support her needs...That is why she turned to be a spoilt girl... She has everything in material.. be it books, dresses, toys, good food and fancy accessories...She has everything a girl should have... but yet I am to be blame for her bad attitude...

Thus, mummy went to Borders to get some books which could possibly helps on how to educate emeryn in the best way... What to expect the toddler years...

15months Update

By now, emeryn is already a 15months old toddler... She now knows how to differentiate her body parts such as face, hair, ear, mouth, eye, nose, hand and leg.. Her weight should be at 10.5kg now... She could do as instructed below:

• Please comb your hair.
• Your mouth is dirty. Please wipe your mouth.
• Please wipe your face, hand and leg.
• It bed time now. Close your eyes and sleep.
• Show mummy where is your nose?
• Show mummy where is your ear?

As for dancing, she improves tremendously. She can dance and shake her body on her own when we play any music.. She could the below too.

• Shake your head.
• Shake your hands.
• Stomp your feet.
• Clap your hand and dance...

Her speech improve a lil' slower than her other physical improvement. Whenever daddy calls us, emeryn refuses to speak to daddy.. She could say:

• PaPa
• MaMa
• Kong Kong (grandpa)
• Kor Kor (aunty)
• Kak Kak (her kakak)
• Mom Mom (eat)
• TaDa (goodbye)
• Cheh Cheh (sister)
• Nen Nen (milk)
• Girl Girl (girl)

She could make some sounds when we show her some picture like fish, dog, bird, potty...Fish, she would try to say f..f...shhh.. Dog, erm..erm... imitates a dog barking.. Bird, she will imitate how a bird chirps...Potty, em..em... trying to imitate the action on how she poo...

5th Oct, that was mummy's birthday and mummy ain't working on this day...Daddy called up at 12am sharp to wish mummy a happy birthday..that's so sweet and thoughtful of daddy... brought emeryn to mummy's office before sending her back to granny's home... She is wearing a pair of new jeans and a spaghetti top and none other than her pink boots.. wow, she looks so rugged and sexy.. that's my princess.. She looks like a grown up kids now, no longer the tiny baby in mummy's arms...

Later in the evening we headed to AutoCity for lantern festival which mummy promised earlier.. At last, we are there with granny, kor kor and kakak... The journey took about an hour as there are a massive crawl, bumper to bumper starting from the beginning.. wat else?? It's Friday and well known of its traffic jam...We saw a huge welcoming HelloKitty before turning into the building... Amazingly it was so nice.. Again we had our early dinner at KFC... At KFC, emeryn can't stop approaching the crew there...Thou she can't speak proper word yet, she called them “Eh”and waved at them...

Then we proceed to the night market and walked around before entering the lantern show... It was at 7.30pm when we bought the ticket and went in.. The lighting was incredible and it brings out the most in the lantern at night..It was like a night safari as it showcase most of the animals like giraffe, tiger, panda bear, birds, snake, cow, horse and a lot more...Others were HelloKitty and friends.. Emeryn walked around but refuse to take photos.. We went home at about 9pm...
