Emeryn a.k.a. Princess Anna of Frozen

  

 

Last Sat was a schooling day. We had lunch together before mummy sent Emeryn to school. While Emeryn was at school, mummy went out for furniture shopping. Mummy visited a few furniture shops to survey the pricing of furniture and sofa set for our upcoming paradise. Mummy got very excited after knowing that the developer will hand over the key to us by the end of Sept. Bit by bit, mummy is trying to shop around and to get more ideas on home furnishing. School ends at 6.40pm and we quickly went home for shower before Beena Kor Kor brought Emeryn out for dinner. Ah Ma bought a Princess Anna's dress for Emeryn to wear during Jazlyn's 1st Birthday. Her birthday theme would be Frozen and all kids will be wearing Frozen's theme clothing. Mummy then went out for a family dinner with Ah Kong, Por Por, her aunty and cousin brother from Ipoh, Sherine Ee Ee and her family. Later they proceeded for coffee at Coffee Affairs before picking Emeryn at 11.30pm.

On Sun we started our day late. We headed over to QBM at 2.45pm under the invitation of Edu Excel to their Art Workshop. Emeryn spent about 2hours there decorating her Malaysia flag and two key chains which mummy paid RM10. While Emeryn was busy at the workshop, mummy went ahead with her moon cakes shopping. After spending about 3 hours at QBM, we headed over to Por Por's place for our Sun visit and had our dinner there before going home.

On and off, lil' cheeky would writes mummy a short note and pass it to mummy when she picks her from school. As usual she would says "I have a surprise for you" before handling mummy her notes.

Updates from FB >>> She gave me this before popping out her hidden agenda. She then confessed that she lost her eraser and pencil. The least this strategy works and spare her from punishment.

Last Fri, mummy introduced Emeryn to the Chinese Puppet show and Chinese Opera held during the Chinese 7th Lunar month. After school, we went home for a quick shower before having our dinner at the Malay stall next to our home. Our first stop was at the temple at Jelutong. We waited for awhile before the puppet show starts. It was run by 3 elderly person mending the puppets, singing and talking. It wasn't too entertaining for Emeryn. Instead she prefers to stand at the backstage on witness how they play the whole show. We only managed to watch for 15minutes before driving to Sungai Pinang for the Teowchew opera show. We fully don't understand the language but watched for 1hour and 30mins. Emeryn insisted to watch till the end but mummy couldn't stand anymore. We left before the show ends and it was near to 11pm.

The next morning, Emeryn woke up early and watch her dvds repeatedly. That would be her weekend morning routine. Mummy cooked porridge for lunch and Emeryn offered to help mummy by  cutting the vege for her porridge. While the porridge is cooking, Emeryn spent time painting her drawing which was drawn by Teacher Chen. Later in the afternoon, she attended her Art Class as usual. She received a call from Charisse after her class asking for a meet-up at Sunshine Farlim. Without mummy's knowledge, she secretly went into the room and applied some make-up on her own. She puts on the eye shadow and blusher. She then got ready with her handbag and hairband as well before showing mummy her face artwork. Mummy rejected her request for the meet up and we went out for late dinner after that.

On Sun morning, we woke up early and went for breakfast with Uncle Uncle at Persiaran Karpal Singh. After our breakfast Emeryn went cycling for awhile since her bicycle is always in mummy's car boots. It didn't last long as the weather was too hot for us. We went home right after that. Later in the afternoon, before heading to Por Por's house we went cafe searching. Initially mummy wanted to go to a specific coffee place she has shortlisted but unfortunately we can't find it. We later settled at Pit Stop. We both had a drink for ourselves and Emeryn busied herself with all her ipad downloads. Mummy downloaded several Learn Korean apps for her to learn prior to our Frozen trip on Dec. After our coffee date, we head over to Por Por's house for our dinner.

 Car Free Day

Lately mummy has slowed down her Fri outing for dinner and drinks. Instead she is spending more time with the ever growing lil' cheeky. Along with mummy's friend, we went out for dinner on Fri. We went for hokkien mee @ Green House before hitting the latest addition cafe which were seen mushrooming in Penang Heritage area. We went to The Safe Room @ Campbell Street. Their specialty was liquid nitrogen coconut ice cream, which claim to be the first ever establishment in Penang. Aside from that, we ordered rose latte and iced mocha. Emeryn occupied herself with her iPad whole nite long. We probably spent only 2hours there before going home.

As for Sat, Emeryn attended Art Class as usual. In the evening, mummy sent Emeryn over to Por Por's place for a nite stay where she went out with her friend.

The next morning, mummy picked Emeryn at about 9.30am and we headed to Beach Street for the Occupy Beach Street & Car Free Day event. We brought along Emeryn's bicycle. There were some activities lining up especially for kids. Emeryn tried her hands on the bubble making and clay art making. The small place was indeed crowded and surrounded by a whole stretch of stalls selling various of small items. We spent 1.5hour there before going for our late breakfast and spent the whole afternoon at home. Later we headed over to Por Por's place for our usual Sun visit and had dinner there.

Guilin Day 4

On Day 4, we woke up at about 8.15am and all of us went out for breakfast together before checking out from Wada Hostel. Again it was drizzling when we left the hostel, heading towards the bus station. We waited for about 30mins for the minibus to send us to Yangshuo Bus Station and the journey took at least 15minutes. As soon as we alighted from the minibus, there are many buses ready to depart to Guilin. The journey took us about 1hour and 15mins. As soon as we arrived at Guilin Bus Station, we boarded the public bus to Wada Hostel where we came back again.

At Guilin, we hopped over to the city and visited the Rong Lake and Shan Lake. Emeryn, Por Por and Ah Kong took the photography session by wearing their traditional costume. We then headed over to the Pedestrian Street Night Market and spent our evening there before going back for a rest.

The Raya holiday continues on Mon & Tues. On Mon, we went out lunch with Carmen Ee Ee and her family, Por Por and Ah Kong before heading over to Persiaran Karpal Singh. Mummy met up with Aunty Grace for a drinks at Coffeesmith, a relatively new coffee place. After the drinks, Emeryn insisted for a few rounds on her two wheels before we went over to the confinement center to pay a visit to Aunty Esther and her new born baby, Gabrilynn. Emeryn was feeling slightly under the weather on that day. We spent about 45mins at the confinement center before heading home.

While on Tues, we did nothing much but choose to stay indoor instead, catching up with Emeryn's homework. For the next three days, Emeryn attended her daycare while mummy was at work. In the morning session, she went to Ah Ma's daycare and mummy sent her to her own daycare during mummy's lunch break. On Wed, Emeryn tagged along with mummy for her massage session. Emeryn requested for a manicure and pedicure session upon seeing the center offering such service. The shop owner was too kind to let mummy swap her additional massage voucher to an express manicure and pedicure for Emeryn. Emeryn was so excited having her nails polished on her favorite colors. Mummy was running out of idea for dinner, so she settled for a simple toast bread on egg.

We dropped by at the playground around our neighborhood after daycare on Fri evening. Emeryn successfully mastered her cycling skills now and she made few new friends at the playground too. Before leaving, they make a date for cycling the next day. We had dinner before going home. We went to LWE on Sat noon as mummy was having some eye infection. Later in the afternoon Emeryn attended Art Class after taking a break for 2months. We drove out in the evening for our tom yam dinner, requested by Emeryn.

On Sun morning, we went for mummy's facial appointment. We had lunch after the facial appointment and then rushed to the Sunday class at Midlands Park. It was Emeryn's second time attending the class and they had charade on that day. We went over to Por Por's house for our Sun visit after the class. That was how we concluded the one week Raya holiday.
