Crafty Weekend

Raya holidays ended on Tues and school resumes on Wed. As usual, Ah Ma will picked Emeryn after school on Fri evening and mummy spent her Fri evening loitering at QBM while killing time. That evening Emeryn brought Joey back home with us to stay over for a nite. The girls spent their time playing Emeryn's toys and read some books before bedtime. The next morning, mummy brought them to the indoor nursery room to play for a short while before heading out for breakfast. After our meal, we dropped Joey back to Pekaka. Mummy then drove Emeryn to Asia Clinic to check out the growth on her armpit. It was actually some hair follicle infection and she was being prescribed some med and a cream to apply on. We then went for a quick prayer at the Thai Temple before going home. Emeryn attended swimming class at 6pm.

Aunty Chiek Mei and her family visited us on Sun at about 11am. They came up to our home before we showed them the indoor nursery. Her son, Hern and Emeryn played together. Aunty Chiek Mei also bought Emeryn two small gifts. After she left, Emeryn took out the gift and start doing the art & craft. Mummy helped her to stitch the side of the handbag and Emeryn continued to finish the stitching and decorating it. She was obviously happy with the end result. Later in the afternoon we went to Por Por's place for our usual visit and had our early dinner there before coming home.

Hari Raya falls on Fri, thus mummy’s office opened half day on the eve. Upon getting off from office, mummy picked Aunty Jenny, Hui Ying and Hui Siang before going over to pick Emeryn from her daycare. We went over to Elite Avenue to try out the newly opened Sushi Mentai where they are offering RM1.80 and RM2.80 on all items on the conveyor belt. As expected we waited in a queue for about 20mins before getting our seat.  After the sumptuous lunch, we drove home to get our swimming suit as we wanted to go to Vertiq for a swim. Aunty Jenny and mummy joined the kids in the pool as well. During this one swimming session, after seeing both Hui Ying & Hui Siang swim back stroke, Emeryn tried on her own. Amazingly she could do it without supervision and she was extremely happy for her achievement. She swam backstroke hand in hand with Hui Ying. After the swim, the kids enjoyed themselves at the playground. After a tiring workout, we reward ourselves with a meal at Mc Donalds before heading home. That night, Hui Ying stayed with us and later Aunty Jenny & Hui Siang went home. The girls kept themselves busy with drawing, coloring and playing some toys before ending the night near to 11pm.

The girls woke up early the next day and had a light breakfast before heading to the playground. We then went for a meal before dropping Hui Ying home. Next we hopped over to Queensbay as Uncle Uncle promised to get Emeryn a belated birthday present. Emeryn choose 2 items at Toys R Us; The Fortune Teller & The Magician. Before leaving QBM, Emeryn requested to have a piece of cake at Secret Recipe and requested us to light a candle and sing her a birthday song as what Beena Kor Kor did for her. After fulfilling her request, we went to Sunshine food court to fill our tumbling tummies before sending Uncle Uncle off to airport. We spent the rest of the day at home.

The following Raya day, we attended Gabrilyn’s 1^st Birthday party at My Favorite Nyonya Cuisine at town area. The restaurant was beautifully decorated with a purple theme. It was a buffet lunch. After the birthday lunch, we walked across to Esplanade to join in the fun of meeting Transformer. It was a hot sunny day that we barely survived under the hot sun. After snapping few photos, we decided to leave. We went home before attending another birthday dinner. It was Natasha’s 1^st Birthday party held at Palm Palladium condo. It was another beautiful set up filled with gifts and entertainment by clown. The parents must have heavily invested in the set up. Ah Kong and Por Por went along to the party as it was a relative’s daughter. We spent about 2hours there before going home.

We went to Por Por’s house on Sun for our dinner before meeting mummy’s friend for a coffee session at 2F+ Coffee.
