1st time cooking

On mummy's pay day, we went for a better dinner after school. As usual, Emeryn wanted Sushi King and Secret Recipe. While on Thurs, we went for a quick gathering at Mc Donalds @ Tesco as mummy wanted to distribute her Japan souvenir to her friends. Ever since mummy has changed her working hours to 9am - 6pm, she won't make it on time to pick Emeryn from school on Fri as the school dismiss at 6pm. So Ah Ma picked Emeryn from school on Fri and mummy went for a quick shopping at QBM while Emeryn is getting her bath and dinner at Pekaka.

After our 1st swimming session, we dated Aunty Jenny and her kids for another swimming session at Vertiq on Sat. The skies were very gloomy when we were on our way to Vertiq. The kids only managed to swim for about 15mins before the rain starts pouring. They then continued playing in the sheltered pool. After the rains stop, they continued swimming. Emeryn still dare not play the slide and still very scare to get into the water. It is more like a water playing, instead of swimming.

After the swimming session, we head over to Summerton for mummy's gathering. We tried out the new joint, Cest La Vie. Before getting into the restaurant, Emeryn asked for a bread because she was too hungry. At the restaurant, we both ordered spaghetti and mummy ordered a cup of hot coffee. After finishing her meal, Emeryn asked for a tiramisu. She ate a lot that nite.

Emeryn cooked her 1st instant noodle for her Sun lunch, only with 20% help from mummy. She took out her notepad and read the instruction which she jotted earlier when monitoring how mummy cooks. Surprisingly after finishing her noodle, she washed all the dishes by herself even though she took about 15mins to complete the washing. While Emeryn attends Art Class on Sun afternoon, mummy hopped over to Tesco to run some errand and brought the agent and the potential buyer to view Vertiq. After the class, we went to the plant nursery and Emeryn bought a small pot of flower. We are now into some gardening at home. We had our dinner at Por Por's house before going home.

Toki Ee Ee & Sherine Ee Ee's new home was finally readied. It is one of the IJM project, Vertiq. Mummy and her cousin brother helped them on the key collection day and to check for defect. We spent near to 2hours there before going for a late lunch at Old Town @ eGate. 

Emeryn attended art class on Sun afternoon. After the class, we meet up with mummy's cousin bro and his family, Ah Pak & Ah Mou, Ah Kong and Por Por. We went for a swim at Vertiq and Emeryn enjoyed playing with Wei Wei. After the swim, we went over to Por Por's house for our dinner before going home.

Mummy Was Away 2-10th Apr

 

 

 

 

When mummy was away for 8days, Emeryn stayed at Pekaka. 2 days before mummy left for Japan, Emeryn started her new daycare. At this new daycare, there were another 2 student from the same school and both their mummies take turns to send the girls to school during lunch. With this arrangement, mummy joins both the mummies to take turn to send the girls to school.

While mummy was at Japan, she contacted Emeryn daily on whatsapps. Mummy reached Penang on 10th, Fri and picked Emeryn up the next day as Emeryn wanted to stay for another night at Pekaka.

Toki Ee Ee's Wedding @ Malacca

On Sat morning, we flew to Malacca for Toki Ee Ee's wedding. It was our first experience with Malindo Air and there was a slight delay. Upon touching down, Uncle Lin Chun's sister picked us at the airport and we headed to the home stay. Ah Kong & Por Por met us there as they traveled to Malacca a day earlier than us. After checking in, we went out for lunch. Then we went back to the home stay and waited for the rest of our relatives to arrive.

Mummy's aunties, uncle and cousins arrived at about 4.30pm and we then headed to Jonker Street for dinner. After filling our tummies, we walked around the flea market in the evening. Emeryn tagged along with the old folks to return to the home stay earlier after the walk. Mummy and her cousins went for a drink and a brief catch up before deciding to end the nite with satay celup. It was about time for the Chinese customary ceremony and prayers when we reached the home stay. We slept late that nite and Theng Ee Ee and her hubby arrived Malacca at 3.30am.

The next morning was the tea ceremony. It started with some exciting games for the groom, his best man and his buddies. For lunch we headed to downtown and savored the famous chicken rice ball. It was a treat from Ah Kong. After lunch, we walked a bit at the historical city and snapped some photo before returning to the home stay.  At about 5pm, we drove to the hair academy for our hair styling in conjunction of the wedding dinner. All of us are in pretty dresses and glamorous hairstyle for the wedding dinner. Mummy's relatives left Malacca immediately after the dinner and we went back to the home stay.

The next morning, we went out for brunch and drove around before heading to the airport. We flew back to Penang at 3pm. At the end of the whole trip, it came into a disaster when we left our iPad at the Penang Airport's toilet. Mummy rushed back to the airport in search of our iPad but it was gone. Sigh!!!
