Again Emeryn’s cough worsens on Tues nite where she vomited twice in the middle of the nite. She hardly sleeps until 4am. Thus mummy decided to take half day off from work and brought her to LWE for further check. Dr Tan suggested x-ray and allergy test which mummy declined. We opt for medication before deciding the next step. After the hospital visit, we went home before mummy sent Emeryn to school and she went to work. Later in the evening, daddy brought us out to Prangin Mall as mummy was hoping to get some last min mooncakes on bargain. Unfortunately mummy didn’t manage to get anything and Emeryn cried. We had our dinner at Prangin Mall and we had the infamous tom yam maggie and steamboat. We then proceeded to Esplanade for the lantern festival. It was a very windy nite and we had problem lighting the candle. We stayed there for a lil’ while before leaving as it started to rain. Emeryn also played at the playground.

We went out for lunch opposite QBM along with daddy. After our lunch we went to QBM for a walk. Daddy brought Emeryn to the Jusco Amusement Park while mummy busied herself shopping. After satisfying her needs of shopping, mummy joined Emeryn and daddy at the amusement park. We played awhile before leaving. Emeryn insisted to get a Hello Kitty ring but we can’t find one. Ended up daddy bought a teddy bear ring for Emeryn before leaving. We went home for Emeryn’s afternoon nap before we attended the school Mid Autumn party. Mummy and Emeryn were at the school compound by 7.45pm and stayed for about 1.5hours. We had some food there and played games together.

We spent our lazy Sun at home instead since it was drizzling. We went out for our late lunch at about 3.30pm at Island Glades. Mummy got herself a tvb drama and another 2 dvds for Emeryn (Pooh & Tigger and Barbie). Upon reaching home, Emeryn refused to take her nap and watched her new dvd. We left home at around 6pm and went over to OFH to visit ah chor. We then went to por por’s house for dinner before going home.

@ Clinic Cafe

This was the 1st year we celebrated Malaysia Day and it falls on 16th Sept. Too bad daddy was working even on this special day. Mummy brought Emeryn out instead. First we stopped at the skin clinic as mummy needed to get a cream for herself. After the clinic visitation, we went to Gurney Plaza as we planned to try out the new opening of Clinic Café. We were there at about 2.15pm and waited for 45mins for the food to arrive. The ambience looked great but there only complains was the long wait for its food. After our late lunch, we proceeded to MPH to grab some books for a birthday gift.

After our shopping, we headed to OFH to visit ah chor. Mummy dropped by at the hawker stall to get wan than mee for ah chor. Upon reaching there, we were being informed that ah chor had just had her dinner. Co-incidentally mummy’s cousin sis was there too and she arrived just after 5mins we were there. We sat there for a while before leaving home.

On Fri afternoon, kor kor fetched Emeryn from school back to Pekaka. She had her dinner at Pekaka before mummy picked her up after work. We went home for a change before heading to por por’s house. Mummy left Emeryn with por por and ah kong while she went out for dinner with her friend. Por por and ah kong brought Emeryn to a relative’s baby 1st Birthday. Emeryn was so excited when it comes to the cake cutting session where she wants to blow off the candles.

Mummy brought Emeryn to Klinik Bersatu in the morning as she was still coughing badly. We brought home lunch on our way back home. Later in the evening we went to Tesco to get some mooncakes again since Emeryn loves it a lot, really a lot. After our shopping at Tesco, we had our late dinner at Jelutong Market.

While on Sun morning, mummy brought Emeryn out for a morning walk after constantly being pressured by Emeryn. It was raining earlier, thus mummy was a lil’ hesitate to go for morning walk. After our walk, we had our breakfast and mummy went to check out on a florist for a colleague of hers. We went to Pappa Rich right after that to meet up with Aunty Mei and Flo. We just had our drinks there and spent about an hour or so before leaving home. After Emeryn’s afternoon nap, we went to por por’s house for our usual Sun visit and had our dinner there.

Emeryn attended music class as usual on Tues. Mummy brought Emeryn out for dinner on Thurs after school at Old Town, Bayan Baru. On the same day, Emeryn brought home 2 small fishes from school as they were having “fishing” as the theme for the day. Hari Raya fell on Fri & Sat. Toki Ee Ee and mummy’s relative came back to Penang because we wanted to bring ah chor out for dinner, our so-called family reunion dinner. Ah Chor has not gone out from the old folks home since she was sent there. Mummy went to the old folks home and picked ah chor up for dinner, while meeting the rest at the dinner venue. After the dinner, we sent ah chor back to the old folks home and sat there for awhile before leaving. Slowly ah chor has lost her memory. Poor & sad thing. She can’t remember the current stuff, and only remember the past. Well, good thing is she is still as healthy as before.

On Fri nite, Toki Ee Ee and Carmen Ee Ee stayed over night at our house. Toki Ee Ee needed internet access to complete her work. The next morning at 10.30am, mummy left Emeryn with Toki Ee Ee at home while she went to Mayfair. Mummy came back around 2pm and brought Emeryn out for lunch. We met daddy for lunch and after that we dropped by at the playground before heading home. Daddy went home with us and he and Emeryn took their afternoon nap while ee ee continued working. At around 5pm, mummy dropped ee ee home.

Mummy woke Emeryn up at around 6pm and get readied for a wedding dinner at Vistana. Aunty Kay picked us up at around 7pm and on our way, we picked aunty Su Ching. Hui Ying attended the wedding dinner as well and both of them played along.

On Sun noon, we went over to por por’s house for our late lunch. We stayed awhile before we left home for Emeryn’s afternoon nap. We didn’t manage to have dinner before sending Ee Ee off to the bus station because she was too busy with her work.

Family Trip to China

It was our 1st ever family trip and it was to China. We (12pax) traveled to Macau, Zhuhai, Guangzhou, Foshan and Shenzen from 26th Aug to 1st Sept 2010. We flew from Penang to Macau and daddy dropped us at the airport as early as 5.15am. We were greeted by our Macau tour guide upon arrival at around 10.30am. Day 1 we visited Fisherman's Wharf, Penha Hill, Ah-Ma Temple, St. Paul's Ruin and Venetian Casino. At about 4.30pm, we crossed the Macau border and headed to Zhuhai, where we were greeted by the China tour guide, Xiao Wang. We checked in to the hotel and later had our 8-course dinner at the hotel. After our dinner, we took a cab and checked out Zhuhai Underground Plaza. Mummy didn't managed to get anything from there, so it was basically just a window shop.

Our tour of Day 2 started as early as 6.30am with the morning call from the hotel. We had our breakfast in the hotel before transferred to the Zhuhai-Macau border. We then proceeded to the Lover's Road to view the Zhuhai's Mermaid Statue. We went over to Shijing Hill where we took the cable car up to the peak to view the scenic scenery. Emeryn was crying all the way up to the peak as she was scare of the heights and the cable car movement. It was a lil' scary even for mummy too, seems like there was no proper security measure taken. Emeryn took the cable car with ah kong and por por while going down whereas mummy joined the young and adventurous gang going down with the "adrenalin rush" bumper car. We had our lunch after that and proceeded to New YuanMing Palace where we learn and understand the China dynasty. We ended our day 2 with street shopping at Lian Hua Pedestrian Street.

On Day 3 we transferred to Guangzhou where we visited YueXiu Garden, 5 Rams Statue, HuangHuaGang Statue and Ancestral Temple of Chen Family. After checking in to the hotel, Emeryn took a quick bath-tub shower before we walked out for our nite shopping at Beijing Road. Mummy managed to purchased 3 dresses at a very reasonable price. Por por and ah kong brought Emeryn back to the hotel 1st since she fell asleep in her stroller.

Day 4 would be the highlight of our trip; where we are suppose to meet our China relative. They are mummy's grandpa's bro and his family at Foshan. Before leaving Guangzhou, we visited the Bright Fillal Piet Temple and Jintai Temple. After lunch, we then proceeded to Bruce Lee's Ancestral House which took about 1hour journey. Finally after another 2hours of journey, we reached Foshan Ancestral Temple and also visited Huang Fei Hong Memorial Hall. After went through all the itineraries of the day, we finally met our distance relative for a dinner. It was such an undescribable moments and happiness spurred on all of us during the meet-up of 2hours. We exchanged souvenirs before we left. We then checked in to the hotel before crossing the road opposite the hotel for a shop at the complex.

Day 5 was where we took 2 hours to travel to Shenzen from Foshan. Our first stop was Red Forest followed by another temple visit and then lunch. We then proceeded to Deng Xiao Ping Statue where we climbed about 500 steps staircase to reach the top. Emeryn was one of the top climber that day where she surprised us with her full energy climbing up and down. She is the lil' marathon in line soon. As a reward, mummy allowed her to have a ride on the kiddy ride once she reached the base. Bravo & well done, Emeryn. Our last visit of the day was to the Window of the World. We walked on our own instead of taking the tram and we were given 3.5hours to complete our tour. Unfortunately we did not managed to walk through all the places. We had our dinner before the driver dropped us back at the hotel. We went for a shopping spree at Dongmen Pedestrian Street after that. Mummy brought 9 dresses in just 1.5hours at a very very cheap price. She was another happy woman on earth on that night. Haha.

Day 6 marked the last full day during our trip. We were sent to LouHu shopping district but too bad most of the shop were not open at that time. Emeryn requested mummy to get her a toy and finally we bought a board game. Mummy didn't managed to find the educational touch pen for Emeryn. We went for lunch after that. We had a quick stop-over at Garden Expo Park right after lunch. All of us were too tired to walk up to the peak just to witness the logo itself due to the hot temperature. We then proceeded to Splendid China and Cultural Village. All of us were too tired to walk, instead we opt for the tram. We had a short walk around before heading for the horse show and later the cultural show. It was amazing and all of us were impressed by the performance. We had our dinner and then shopped for some souvenir before heading for the last show in the evening. We transferred to Dongmen Pedestrian Street right after leaving Splendid China. Mummy continued her shopping, as expected.

Day 7 was our last day at Shenzen. After our breakfast at the hotel, we headed to the airport. Sayornara China!!! We reached LCCT at around 3.15pm and waited for 6hours before our flight back to Penang. Daddy picked us at the airport and we finally stepped into our home sweet home at around 12 midnite.

After all, it was a tiring trip but it was also a great one with great accommodation, great planning, great shopping, great companion and GREAT!!!!
