A Place Called HOME, soon

Finally the S&P of Fiera Vista is stamped. Yay, counting down 3years from 15th Mac 2012 where we will have a new place called home. We are so looking forward for this new place where it has a full-fledged condo facilities and we can stay in a more spacious place.

My dearest lil' cheeky is absolutely a grown up girl now. Last week she bathed on her own as usual in the evening and mummy was wondering why there ain't any sound coming out from the bathroom even after 3mins Emeryn went in. Normally as soon as she steps into the bathroom, it would turns like a waterfall with water splashing everywhere. Out of curiosity, mummy peeked into the bathroom and surprisingly saw lil' cheeky brushing her own school uniform. Oh boy, ain't she is such an angel??? She even commented with a huge smile "I want to help you."

She had her first ejaan last week. It was anjing, angsa, bakul, buku. Mummy rang up the daycare and got them to guide Emeryn on it. The same day she was having slight fever. Mdm Tan from the daycare commented that they spent 2hours guiding her on the ejaan but she failed to absorb it even 2 different teachers supervising her. It was a huge letdown for mummy but this is something she expected as well. Before going to the bed, mummy tested Emeryn on the ejaan hoping she would do some last minute preparation. Instead of disappointing mummy, she proudly did well with full distinction which left mummy smiling from ear to ear. Mummy praised Emeryn for her good job and Emeryn smiling away happily. Mummy promised her a sticker if she gets it all right the next day. It was such a big improvement in lil' cheeky.

The next day mummy got the stickers as promised during her lunch time not knowing if lil' cheeky could do well or not. Even if she can't get a perfect score, the improvement she shown worth more than just a sticker. Finally Emeryn came home with 3/4 where she spelled wrongly "najing" instead of anjing.

On Fri, mummy picked Emeryn from SpeechMaster class and we headed downtown for dinner with mummy's friend, CS. Initially we are supposed to dine at Deluxcious but they were booked for a private function. Thus, we went to Salsa. After the dinner, we headed to mummy's friend, Kelly's place for a gathering. On our way to her place, mummy bought bbq chicken wings for the rest who came for the gathering. Emeryn was so occupied with Kelly's pet, the hamsters and the cats. She loves animal and even loves to play with them. We left Kelly's place at about 11.30pm where lil' cheeky has drained out her battery.

Emeryn attended Art Class where mummy went to have breakfast with her friend at Old Town followed by grocery shopping at Tesco. Tokkie Ee Ee and Uncle Lin Chun are back to Penang again as Ee Ee is signing her S&P for her current purchase of The Vertiq. Congratulations!!! Mummy picked Emeryn from Art Class and we headed home while waiting for Ee Ee to go for lunch with us. Later we went for lunch at Genting coffee shop where Por Por and Sherine Ee Ee joined us as well. In the evening we went to Tambun for seafood dinner. This round it was unbelievably cheap and not to forget great meal.

The highlight of the week was the family lunch at Bar-b-q Plaza at Gurney Plaza and also to discuss about the upcoming Phuket trip. The Mah's family never fail to meet up for meal whenever they have the opportunity. It was a good bonding for all of us. After our lunch, all of us shop together before leaving home. We had our farewell dinner at Super Tanker before bidding Tokkie Ee Ee and Uncle Lin Chun goodbye.

Minyak Angin

I heard the most hilarious thing from lil' cheeky. I commented on her mosquito bites.

Emeryn said "Nevermind, ah kong put "tao ewe" for me already.
Mummy said "Har, tao ewe??? U mean "hong ewe" (minyak angin)?
Emeryn said "Hahaha, yes yes yes it's hong ewe.

After so many days of having economy rice as our dinner, mummy decided to throw in a better dinner and as expected Emeryn suggested her fav place, Sushi King. We went there right after leaving the daycare. After our sumptuous meal, we bought home a slice of cake each from Secret Recipe. It is perfectly ok to dine this way once in a blue moon but absolutely not every day.

After so many Fridays of going out, mummy decided to stay home on last Fri. We went for the infamous wan tan mee at T'rengganu Road but we ordered the chicken feet instead. It's surprisingly how lil' cheeky enjoyed those meal and she had a plate of chicken rice all by herself. As for mummy, she bought home the famous nasi lemak Liverpool to enjoy for the rest of the evening.

Emeryn attended Art Class as usual on Sat morning. We headed for porridge lunch after mummy picked Emeryn from Art Class. It was a quick lunch as we were rushing for mummy's facial appointment. Emeryn has gotten so comfortable at the facial saloon nowadays and she watched her dvd while waiting for mummy to have her facial done. We headed to Tesco at Tanjung Pinang where mummy allowed Emeryn a few set of games at the theme park. We dropped by at Straits Quay before going home and we bumped into Aunty Revatay. We bought an umbrella at the flea market and snapped some photo while walking along the al-fresco area. We went home straight after that where Emeryn had her late nap at 6pm. After her nap, we went out for our late dinner before going home and continued our tvb series marathon.

We started our Sun late and lazed around till at least 3.30pm before going out to Por Por's place for our late lunch. We left almost immediately after our lunch where we dropped by at the toy shop at downtown to buy the bubble refill for Emeryn and a hat for mummy's Phuket trip. We then headed to Batu Ferringhi for a beach outing before the school reopens on the next day. We bought fresh coconut drink on the way. We went through Park Royal Hotel and spent time on the beach. Though it was about 5.30pm when we reached, Mr Sun was still shining fiercely. We left at about 7pm and headed to Mt Erksine for dinner. Lil' cheeky was too tired to enjoy her meal and we went home after dinner.

Disney on Ice

For the first time, Emeryn & Flo joined mummy and her BBBG (Big Boys Big Girls) gang for their foodie nite at Northam Beach. We were the first to arrived and we ordered some food while waiting for the rest to join us. It was a nite filled with variety of food, good laugh and good companion while Emeryn & Flo busied themselves with the Doctor Toy Set that mummy brought over. The two drama queens fought over the toys at one moment and another moment turned to be a lovey-dovey sisterly relation. They never failed to be friend, unfriend and the cycle continues. We called it a nite at about 10.30pm while the rest continued drinking away.

Emeryn attended Art Class on Sat morning and she choose a nice outfit for herself knowing that we're watching Disney on Ice right after the class. It was 12.15pm when mummy picked Emeryn from art class and we're running out of time to catch a good seat at Pisa. Mummy got Emeryn to grab a bread and ribena on the way to Pisa. We reached there before the show starts but unfortunately aunty Mei & Flo were late. Emeryn got so excited meeting those Disney characters and keep throwing questions after questions to mummy. After an hour, they took a break and Emeryn requested mummy to buy her a mug tumbler filled with frozen ice. It costs mummy RM30. What an expensive thing!!! The show finished at 3pm and we bought nasi lemak and pisang goreng home to fill our hungry tummies. After that, we continued our day watching mummy's tvb series in the room before Emeryn fell asleep at 7pm. Emeryn continued to sleep and mummy has to forgo going out for dinner. Lucky enough, mummy got her friend to deliver her Mc D.

We spent our Sun morning at home, lazing around and continued the tvb series marathon. We drove out to the temple at about 2.45pm to offers prayer to ah chor. All the Mah's family gathered together for the prayer and we went to Farlim for the infamous laksa before parted. We also discussed about the up-coming family trip to Phuket and all the arrangement. After the meal, mummy sent Por Por and Toki Ee Ee home before we drove to Pekaka as Emeryn wanted to collect the toys that daddy bought for her. She ended up staying at Pekaka for 3hours playing with lil' Joel and Joey. Mummy went home and picked her from Pekaka at about 8pm.

Praise vs Complain

Emeryn exciting showed mummy that her teacher compliments her and at the same time told her that she was a little too slow finishing her work. That's my typical drama queen. She would takes ages to finish up her homework. She would write a line and then walk around and talk or distract herself and then continue her homework. She needs constant nagging from mummy just to complete her homework. :)

Movie: The Lorax

On Sat morning, Emeryn attended Art Class as usual and we bought lunch back home right after the class. We then spent the whole afternoon at home and took our afternoon nap together from 3.30pm to 6pm. We went out for dinner at about 8pm and headed home after that. It was a pure homey Saturday.

Sunday sounded much better where we started our day as early as 8am where we went out for breakfast with mummy's friend. We went home and packed our stuff before heading out to Queensbay Mall to catch the brand new release movie, The Lorax. We were there early and hang around the theme park killing our time before the show. It was a nice movie indeed. While on our way home, we dropped by at the clinic to check on Emeryn. She was developing some tiny reddish allergy and luckily it wasn't chicken pox. We went home for a short rest before going out to Por Por's place for our dinner and the usual Sun visit.
