Weekend with Daddy @ the beach

Sun evening @ the beach
@ Parent-Toddler class

School time as usual on Sat... This round, mummy attended it together with only emeryn...Last week the school was having an outdoor snack instead of the routine indoor snack...Many parents brought along food, drinks and desert..Too bad mummy wasn't informed as mummy did not attend the class on the earlier week... Emeryn was having a lot of fun enjoying the outdoor snack... She had mini ice cream, muffin, and biscuit. By now she could pronounce “Please” when she needs something and “Thank You” upon receiving something she asked for.. She sweats a lot again and again. Emeryn wore the new top which mummy bought from Bangkok...

For the 1st time daddy gave in and followed us to the beach... It was about 5pm when we reached and the weather was just right for us...Emeryn was playing around while daddy & mummy were looking at her.. There were few stray dogs walking around the beach and all of the sudden one of them went near emeryn...And guess what??? It licks emeryn’s face... Eww!!! So dirty but emeryn stood still doing nothing..What a doggie maniac??? Later there was another group of family bringing their 2 boys for beach time as well... Emeryn walked over and joined them. When it’s time to go home, again emeryn refused to go back as she has not has enough time playing on the beach...

We have no choice but to say goodbye to the beach as it’s running late for dinner... Emeryn slept quite early that nite.. Obviously she is tired...

21mths Update

Last week, mummy was away to Bangkok for a holiday. Thus, emeryn stayed at Pekaka with granny... On Sat morning, daddy fetched emeryn to school and kakak accompanied emeryn at school...Mummy bought 8pcs of cartoon handkerchief for emeryn and we gave baby Flo one piece...Besides mummy also bought one pair of army dress, 2 tops and another 2 dresses for emeryn.. She looks so lovely in the army suit...

Now, emeryn is 21-mths old and coming to her 22-mths old...She can say:

  • Teacher
  • Mummy
  • Daddy
  • Aunty
  • Uncle
  • Anjing (dog in malay)
  • Hello & Hi (waving her hand)
  • Alphabet A to H (imitation)
  • Emeryn (not the proper way)
  • Wash
  • Baby
  • Wear shoe
  • Air-cond
  • Light
  • School
  • Cold
  • Hot
  • And a lot more which mummy could not recall.

Emeryn can brush her teeth on her own and feed herself now (eat & drink). She can also wear and take off her shoe. She can also manage to apply lotion on her own self. My lil’ smart girl. Ever since with Flo around, she becomes like a big sister now. She wants to help out in a lot of chores.

My Lil' Happy Artist

@ school & theme : Butterfly

Amazingly last week Daddy willingly followed us to the Parent-Toddler class...Normally mummy has to drag and nag him into joining us...Initially daddy wanted to drop emeryn at school while daddy drives mummy out for a quick breakfast but it’s a big No-No for mummy to leaves emeryn alone without supervision at school..Thus, daddy drove alone for breakie and came back after 20min...

The theme for last week was “Butterfly” and the teacher showed them a short video clip of the process how larva turns to butterfly... They even allow the kids to wear the butterfly wing and hair band...It was emeryn’s 3rd week at the school and she is used to the school routine now.. Emeryn did the brush painting & finger printing...She is slightly more co-operative now but still reluctant to pay full attention during the 90-mins session... Before the class ended, they have some singing session and again emeryn walked over to a lil’ boy and hugged him.. Some parent looks at emeryn’s gesture and laughed. Mummy took home emeryn’s artwork and keeps it... :)

@ the beach, hot sunny day

@ Baskin Robin
While on Sun, mummy bought emeryn to Han Chiang’s College as mummy needed to drop by for some activities... Too bad it was cancelled while we reached... We had our free lunch there provided by the sponsor with uncle Charles & aunty Kay before heading to the beach..Daddy refused to join us this round as he dislike being under the hot sun...Emeryn ran so fast towards the beach with her big laughter and cheer after coming off from the car.. She just loves the beach so much beyond word could describe...Mummy & emeryn spend an hour at Paradise Sandy Bay beach before we went to Baskin Robin for emeryn’s fav ice cream... It was really a hot day but no doubt emeryn enjoyed every moment at the beach... Hehe..

We went to Baskin Robin after that and mummy ordered Citrus flavor ice cream for emeryn... She was laughing happily while enjoying the ice cream as she saw another kid on the next table...Don’t know what make her so happy thou.. Seeing my own child laughing happily makes my day and worth all the effort pampering her...Mummy dropped emeryn at granny’s place before heading home. Emeryn was crying so badly when mummy drove off... Pity her. Sob...Sob... :(

Mummy drove home and later mummy & daddy went out for food..We picked emeryn at granny’s about 5.30pm... Granny said emeryn refused to shower and take her milk while mummy is not around...Upon reaching granny’s, mummy carried Emeryn and fed her like a big baby.. It reminded me of the good old days when emeryn was few months old..We reached home about 7pm and obviously emeryn was too tired and mummy put her to bed at 8.30pm...

Back to School & QE II

toy-pram from Tesco

@ QE II

@ The Learning Garden ~ Parent & Toddler Class

On last Tues, mummy and colleagues celebrated our good Feb achievement at Queen Elizabeth II a.k.a. QE II. Mummy brought emeryn along since HuiYing is coming with her mummy too... Both emeryn & huiying were standing at the same height...They both look too fabulous to be true and just like a pair of twins...Both of them were holding hands while marching towards the restaurant after leaving the car park... They are so adorable. Bet they are gonna be best buddy soon. The food is so-so (not to comment further) but the ambience is sure to capture anyone’s eyes... Bet u???

Whilst on last Sat was emeryn second time to the parent-toddler class...This time around, granny and kor kor came along with us... Again, emeryn wasn’t paying much attention on the class but instead having a fun time with friends around.. She is too active and would never pay full attention to her job... Mummy was having a tough time monitoring emeryn and make sure she utilize every bit of it...

Later after the class ended at about 12pm, we went for the General Election at Hamid Khan Sch...Emeryn went in to the hall with mummy as well.. Then we proceeded to Tesco as mummy intended to buy some sticker for emeryn...Before the class ended, the teacher gave each of the kids a sticker and emeryn seems to love them a lot. We failed to get nice and suitable sticker for emeryn but ended up buying a toy-pram for emeryn..Wow, it’s only RM9.90. Cheap, isn’t it??? So emeryn put “Candy” (X’mas gift from mummy) to her stroller and cart her around the living hall to the dining hall...

While on Sun, we had our brunch with granny, grandpa, kor kor, chik chik and jie jie before going over to Maccallum St (granny’s place)... Mummy & Daddy dropped emeryn at granny’s house around 12.30pm...Granny & Grandpa has not seen emeryn since the last 2 weeks and they miss her big time.. So mummy & daddy went home and picked her up later in the evening...

Surprisingly emeryn was having a good time at granny’s place and even call “Ma Ma” (granny) in a very sad tone while leaving granny & grandpa... Haha :) We went to Chili’s for our dinner... Yummy... Yummy... We had a complimentary kid’s meal for emeryn...This also marked the first time emeryn having chips with mayonese... She loves it a lot till she even licked the sauce plate when she finished them...

Bukit Tinggi ~ one nite stay

@ the French Village

@ the Botanical Garden

@ the Rabbit Park & hotel room

@ the Japanese Garden

Daddy needs to be at Putrajaya on Mon to settle his imigresen thingy and mummy took a day leave as we are planning to drive down to KL...Mummy has thought of going for a short break at Bkt Tinggi earlier on... So we decided to drive to Bkt Tinggi a day earlier, Sun... This decision came in on Sat and we were too late to catch the internet special rates..So in return we are paying RM231 for Colmar Tropicale inclusive of passes to Japanese Garden, Rabbit Park & Botanical Garden...This trip was a treat from mummy in conjunction of a good sales achievement on the month of Feb. Uh la la!!!

We started our journey at 8am...Unfortunately we were lost when we turned in to Batang Kali toll and couldn’t find the correct way as directed by the Berjaya Hotel reservation staff. :( After much searching and upon reaching KL, we dropped at a petrol station and asked for the direction...A man in his fifties offered to show us the way as he was on the way to Kuantan. Bingo!!! So we trailed from behind... Finally we reached Berjaya Hill Resort at 1.30pm but couldn’t check in as the room was not ready.. The weather was not as cold as we imagined... It was a very bright and sunny day instead...

We went to the Rabbit Park as our 1st destination... Emeryn was having a good time looking at them but dare not touch or go near to them...We could even feed the rabbit there. But instead of feeding the rabbit, emeryn fed herself with the rabbit food. Oh, dear!!! Mummy quickly stuffs her fingers in her mouth and took it out... My goodness... What a greedy Emeryn???

We checked in to the hotel at about 2.45pm and we went straight to the Japanese Garden... The French Village was impressive with its renowned architectural... Later we proceeded to the Botanical Garden. It was tiring having to carry emeryn while needs to hike up the hill.. We had our early dinner at the French Garden and it cost us a hefty RM50++ for 2 set of a quarter roasted chickens...The meal wasn’t as impressive as the ambient.. We walked around the places and snapped lotsa photos. Then we went back to the hotel and took a nap... Emeryn was really tired and slept from 6.30pm to almost 10pm..We had our supper at the hotel’s 24hr coffee house. Mummy had nasi lemak while daddy had fish head curry with rice...

Well, not much places to visit but at least it was an eye opener to have such places in Malaysia... The next day, Mon, we left Bkt Tinggi after having our breakfast and reach Putrajaya about 10am...We drove home at about 2pm after having our lunch.. Emeryn was such a good girl through out the whole trip...She didn’t make any fuss or throwing tantrum... Both Daddy & Mummy adore her good manner a lot.. We reached home at about 6.30pm...
