Bowling, here i come..

Mummy sent emeryn to school on last Wed after she recovered... Surprisingly her lil’ friends greeted her warmly when she stepped in to the school compound... They cheered “Emeryn is here” (in Mandarin)... Without hesitation, emeryn walked in happily leaving mummy alone and walked towards the car.. Lucky enough she did not cry like what mummy expected after not attending school for more than 1 week...

Emeryn was in half day nursery on Sat while mummy went to LWE to settle the insurance claim and hospitalization bill.. Mummy went home to do some cleaning before fetching emeryn from school... Later in the afternoon, mummy brought emeryn to mummy’s friend birthday gathering... It was a late lunch at 2pm and we left at about 3.10pm as emeryn were feeling sleepy...We went home and emeryn had her afternoon nap before going to granny’s place for dinner.. After dinner, emeryn, daddy, mummy, chik chik and ah chim went to Bkt Jambul for bowling... It was a so-called practice session for mummy as she is going to have a bowling competition among her Jobstreet colleagues...

Well, mummy hardly played as emeryn was running here and there around the bowling alley... She even sleeps on the floor and tries holding the bowling ball on her own... Mummy has to chase her almost everywhere. Omg. It was an hour game and we had our supper before leaving home. On Sun, emeryn went to see Dr. Tan for her follow up... We went for our morning breakie before the follow up. ..According to Dr. Tan, emeryn is doing well and he prescribed some multi vitamin for emeryn...

Later in the afternoon, we went to granny’s place after emeryn’s afternoon nap... We had our late lunch over there and stayed a lil’ while.. We then adjourned to Gurney Plaza with the intention to visit its new wing...Unfortunately, we just stayed for an hour as both emeryn and daddy were not in the mood for shopping... Mummy has no choice but to leave and decided to come over alone next round... On the way home, daddy went to tar pao fish head curry & rice for dinner...

Upon reaching home, all of us took our shower first before enjoying our yummy yummy dinner... It was a dinner at home after so long we dine outside though it was not home cooked...

Emeryn was admitted to LWE on Tues nite after our visit to Dr. Tan’s clinic as her fever was unable to subside... She was admitted for dengue fever and lungs infection due to her bad coughing... Luckily we were allowed to go on home leave whereby emeryn does not need to stay over nite in the hospital.. Basically we need to make 3 trips to the hospital daily...Once admitted, emeryn had her blood sample taken and went for x-ray... Mummy nearly collapsed seeing her blood sample taken... Emeryn’s blood clogged due to her less liquid intake and making it hard to sample her blood...Finally we left the hospital at about 11.30pm and went home tiredly.. 2 nites ago, emeryn threw up after taking her antibiotic...Mummy has to change the bed sheet almost everyday... It was such a mess handling everything...

The next day, mummy took leave and brought emeryn to the hospital 3 times a day... Slowly her fever subsides but her coughing is still very bad... On both Thurs and Fri, mummy brought emeryn to the hospital for her antibiotic injection and to inhale oxygen to loosen her phlegm in the morning before mummy leaving to work.. Again mummy has to repeat the routine in the evening...Whilst in the afternoon, granny and grandpa will bring emeryn to the hospital... My lil’ good girl even said “Thank you, nurse” before leaving the hospital... After so much hassle, emeryn finally discharge on Sun morning and Dr. Tan gave emeryn a freebie from Anmum, a lil’ pulling toy...

On Sun nite, it was great-granny’s 81^st Birthday celebration... We went over to her place for a family gathering and had steamboat.. We stayed a lil’ while before leaving... Mummy planned to send emeryn to school the next morning...

Coloring & School Concert

Mummy started emeryn with some coloring to prepare her for her 2009 - 3 years old class... Mummy brought a set of color pencil and a coloring book for emeryn... Before using the coloring book, mummy printed out some printable coloring book for emeryn to practice.. Obviously for her first time she doesn’t know the proper way to do it and worst, she can’t recognize each color... But nevertheless, it was a good exposure for her.. She seems to like it very much and keep asking mummy to color along with her almost everyday... Emeryn was having bad cough through out the whole week and it doesn’t get any better even with medicine...She even vomited 2-3 nights and had some disturbed sleep... Poor baby!!! And poor mummy who has to change the bed sheet almost everyday...

On Sun, it was Emeryn’s school annual concert... We were running late as we went for breakfast before heading to Recsam... After our breakfast, mummy realized that emeryn was starting to have fever... We proceed to Recsam as it was only an hour to go before it finishes.. Some of her friend, happily greeted emeryn when emeryn stepped into the hall... The hall was full with parents and kids...Indeed the stage back drop was very nice. We witnessed a few performances before emeryn was hit by fit.. It was her 3^rd time having fit...Mummy and daddy rushed her to lam wah ee again, panicked and worried... Emeryn’s lips turn pale and white and she was barely conscious... But luckily the fit stop right after we got into the car...

Emeryn was sent to the emergency room and later was referred to Dr Tan’s clinic before he prescribes some medicine for emeryn... We went home shortly after that but emeryn’s temperature maintain as high as 38-degree and more...

Wedding Dinner

Both mummy and emeryn were sick during last weekend... It was mummy who first caught fever and sore throat and then followed by emeryn getting the same sickness... It’s all started after the bbq steamboat we had earlier on.. The principal called granny saying that emeryn was down with high fever and requested to send emeryn home early...Mummy fetched emeryn home and brought her to Dr Tan right after dinner.. Her fever shoot up to 38.5 degree and again mummy panicked... Dr Tan get mummy to monitor closely her temperature every 30 mins.. Ended up mummy bought a digital thermometer which cost at RM170...Pretty expensive but it sure worth more... Luckily emeryn recovered in just a day...

On Sat, we went for breakfast before daddy dropped emeryn to school while leaving mummy at home to clean up the house... Daddy fetched emeryn from school about 1.30pm and we drove to Jusco, Bukit Mertajam... It was raining earlier on and we went there via ferry.. Emeryn was scared at first when the wind blew right on her face while we were on the ferry...It was our first time to Jusco, Bukit Mertajam and it was huge too... We had our late lunch at Kenny Rogers and walked around the mall for a short while..We drove to granny’s house after that... Later in the evening, we went to mummy’s friend’s bachelor party.. We left about 10pm as emeryn was feeling very sleepy as she did not have her afternoon nap at all for the day...

The next morning, we had our brunch with granny, grandpa, chik chik and ah chim at Zealand Café again (daddy’s old time favorite)... We drove to Ee Ee’s place after that but they were not at home so we drove home instead.. Emeryn watched her Elmo’s cds and play with daddy the whole afternoon and resist to sleep...Mummy has no choice but to force her to sleep and ended she slept at about 4pm... Mummy and daddy sleep as well. We went to Aunty Irenne’s wedding dinner in the evening... Emeryn was having some good times chasing some friends around.. We went home at about 10.15pm...
