Rainny Weekend

Mummy took leave on last Thurs as she needed to clear her annual leave. Mummy dropped Emeryn at Pekaka while she went over to Mayfair. Emeryn requested mummy not to send her to school on that particular day and mummy gave in to her request since it’s now holiday season anyway. Mummy went back to Pekaka at around 1.30pm and we stayed awhile before heading to Popular, Midlands Park. It was the Popular member’s day sale. We roamed around at Popular for about 3hours and managed to get some book for Emeryn, some for Flo’s 3^rd birthday and some for Joel as well. We then headed to Pulau Tikus for a stop-over drink and headed to Kamdar as mummy needed to check on some cloth material.

After Kamdar, we stopped by at a camera shop as mummy wanted to check up her soon-to-be new toy’s specifications and price. She was eyeing on Olympus EPL 1 which is going to cost her RM2150 minimum. We headed to Gurney Plaza for mummy’s annual gathering at Jus Pizza. We went home immediately after the dinner gathering as Emeryn was obviously tired.

On Fri evening, mummy dropped Emeryn at por por’s as she was out to the hospital to visit Aunty Mei who was hospitalized for pneumonia. It was a quiet and rainy weekend for us. We only went out to Tesco on Sat afternoon to do some groceries shopping. Mummy was looking for a slow cooker but to no evil, she can’t find one at Tesco and even Courts. Before returning home, mummy went to the curtain shop and paid the deposit. Yay!! Finally we will be having new curtain set in 2 weeks time. Emeryn took her nap at home after our shopping. Mummy drove out for dinner at around 8.30pm. We went to Gurney to look for daddy after that despite it was drizzling.

We had our late breakfast at home on Sun morning. Later mummy decided to bring Emeryn out to the beach and Emeryn starting to pack her beach toys and buble play. Mummy forgotten to bring her camera out, so we decided to go to Youth Park instead. Unfortunately the weather ain’t kind enough to us. It started to pour heavily before we reach Youth Park. Thus, it was only like d Tour-of-Youh-Park where we only drove along without getting out from the car. We then went to por por’s house for our Sun visit. We had our dinner there before leaving to the old folk’s home to visit great granny. Ah kong and por por joined us at the ofh but they went on their own. Before going, por por plucked out a banana to give to ah chor. Emeryn said the below:

Emeryn: Por Por, one banana is not enough.

Por Por: One is enough since this is big and ah chor would be very full after finishing it.

Emeryn: No, there are so many people there. How to share?

Por Por: This is not enough for all of them. Next week, por por will buy a bigger one.

Emeryn was telling por por to bring the banana and distribute to all the old folks there. Mummy has been doing so for the last few visits, thus Emeryn is learning to do the same now. Mummy is glad that Emeryn is learning to be more generous. Hope she could maintain all these good values.
