1st Wedding Dinner of 2010

Our normal daily routine started on Wed where Emeryn attended her school and mummy went to work. The week seems to be a very short week for us when Sat arrived within just a blink of eyes. Mummy brought Emeryn to Lip Sin Market and she got herself a new top and Emeryn a pair of legging pants. We bought home lunch after the so-called shopping. Both of us took our afternoon nap together and woke up around 4.30pm. Not long after that we got ourselves readied for the wedding dinner. Emeryn choose her school-concert dress for that evening and mummy dressed her up nicely with a nice hairdo for her as well. She looked so beautiful and gorgeous in it.

Daddy fetched us at about 6.45pm and we picked aunty SuChing on our way to Paradise Sandy Beach for the said dinner. We reached at about 7.50pm but the dinner was served at 8.35pm after much awaited. Emeryn behaved very well at that nite and she collected a few boxes of cake as a token of souvenir provided by the hotel. We reached home at about 11.15pm, tired and sleepy. So we were off dozing on the bed very soon after reaching home.

While on Sun morning, mummy brought Emeryn to Jelutong market with the hope to catch some good bargain and also some last min CNY shopping. Ended up mummy got herself a formal dress and a tube. We bought home breakfast as daddy was still sleeping soundly. After our late breakfast at home, daddy fetched Emeryn to Pekaka leaving mummy alone at home. At about 2pm, mummy drove over to Pekaka and picked Emeryn up. We then fetched por por and Toki Ee Ee to Prangin Mall for shopping again. It was another 2hours + shopping for us. We proceeded to por por’s place for dinner after our shopping. Ee Ee bought a blonde wig from China for mummy. Haha. We stayed a lil’ while before going over to the nite market next to por por’s flat. Emeryn cried and insisted she want a burger. She was crying and begging so desperately for one. Mummy has no choice but to get one for her. We went home shortly and Emeryn fell asleep in the car while holding tightly on the burger. Ended up the burger was for mummy’s supper.

We started our journey to Malacca on Sat late night about 11.30pm. Daddy insisted we drive there on Sat nite instead of early Sun morning. We stopped a few times for a quick nap before continuing our journey. We finally reached Petaling Street, KL at about 9am. We had our breakfast there before heading to Malacca. We reached Malacca Paradise Village at around 11.30am but were not allowed to check-in until 1.30pm. We headed to Malacca town, the heritage area.

While Emeryn took a quick nap in the car, mummy went for a walk. Mummy bought some Malacca key chain for her colleagues and Emeryn’s school teachers. We had Baba Nyonya cuisines for lunch. After lunch, it was our city tour. We boarded a trishaw ride and went around its town. We visited a few places before we drove back to the resort. The resort was obviously empty and secluded with 2 rooms apartment reserved for us. All of us slept soundly upon checking in until early evening. We went to Jonker’s Street after taking our shower. We walked around the nite market before having our dinner. Mummy bought some earring and necklace. We tried several local cuisines there.

The next morning, we left the resort at about 9am and we had dim sum for breakfast. After breakfast we headed to A Famosa. It took us about an hour to reach. It was about 10.45am when we reached. We went to the water park. It was daddy’s first time joining us to the pool. We played on the slide and accompanied Emeryn on the kid’s park. Emeryn was absolutely enjoyed herself very much and she started to love daddy a lot more than before, it’s a father-daughter bonding for the two of them. Daddy dared not join mummy for the adult’s slide but mummy braved herself for the slide for once. We had our lunch there and continue with water park later on. We left at around 4pm and drove straight to the resort. We did not manage to go to the Cowboy Town as it only opens at 6pm. Again we took our nap upon reaching the resort as we were all too tired for other activities.

After our nap, we took our shower and went out for dinner. After dinner, we went to Jusco for a walk. Daddy brought Emeryn to the indoor playground and both of them played together while mummy shopped around. Emeryn insisted daddy to bring her to KFC later on and daddy bought her a chicky meal with a free Barbie watch. We went back to the resort after that.

The next day, we checked out at about 9pm and headed to KL as daddy needed to get his stuff done at Putrajaya. After that daddy visited his client at Subang Jaya. After his visit, we headed back to Penang and only managed to have our brunch at Tapah R&R. We had KFC over there. We dropped daddy at his Juru office at 4.30pm and we reached home at 5.30pm. Upon reaching home, mummy did some of her chores before we went out for dinner. We attended music class after our dinner. It was surely a tiring day for all of us having to rush here and there but it was definitely a great trip.

School Party a.k.a open day

We attended music class on Tues as usual without daddy. On Fri, Emeryn came home with some scratches on her face and hand. She also lost her earring. Emeryn said her friend scratched her and took away her earring. Out of suspicion, mummy rang up teacher Agatha to enquire further only to know Emeryn actually scratched herself. On Sat noon, mummy left Emeryn at Pekaka while she went out to catch a quick lunch with her friends. Daddy fetched Emeryn to Butterworth as he needed to finish up some of his work. Later in the afternoon mummy brought Emeryn home and make sure she have her afternoon nap before attending her school party a.k.a open day.

Emeryn refused to go to her school and insisted of going home after mummy showed teacher Agatha of her scratches and scars. She was a lil’ terrified. We managed to stay on and visited the school compound. Later ah ma and ah chim joined us at the party while daddy left earlier as he needed to catch up with his work again. Ah Kong and por por came knocking on our door on Sun morning giving us a surprise visit. They stayed a lil’ while before leaving to do their grocery shopping. Daddy brought us out for breakfast after that. We went to daddy’s favorite hawker meal, koay teow th’ng @ downtown.

Daddy dropped us home while he went over to Pekaka. He needed to work even it’s a Sunday. Poor thing. Both mummy and Emeryn spent the rest of the day at home and Emeryn took her afternoon nap as usual. We went over to por por’s place at about 5pm. We had our early dinner over there. After the dinner, mummy fetched ah kong and por por to Sunshine City. It was our first visit there. Mummy bought a new pair of swimming costume for Emeryn as we are going to A Farmosa on next coming week. She looks absolutely stunning in the swimming suit. Mummy also bumped into Aunty Helen while shopping for grocery. It has been ages since we last met her. Mummy sent ah kong and por por home and we headed home right after that.

Last week was Jammin Senzation school holiday, thus not attending music class. Mummy was on leave on Tues as well as she needed to clear her leave. After sending Emeryn to nursery, mummy went over to Old Town at Egate for breakfast and later met Aunty Mei for lunch at Little Cottage. It was a long lunch for mummy and Aunty Mei before they proceeded for happy hour. Mummy fetched Emeryn from nursery right after the happy hour session ended. We didn’t go back to Pekaka for dinner but instead bought nasi kandar home.

Year 2009 is drawing to its end and we are moving to year 2010. Time flies with just a blink of an eye. Finally Aunty Karen made her way to visit all of us at Penang and mummy insisted she stays with us. On Thurs, 31st Dec mummy went off from work at 3pm and fetched Emeryn home with her. Mummy packed some clothing, dvd, toys and milk for Emeryn to por por’s place. Mummy left Emeryn at por por’s place as she needed to bring Aunty Karen out for celebration whereas granny would not be able to take care of Emeryn as she had a dinner to attend. Poor thing, it was the first time mummy left Emeryn at por por’s place for the past 3years. A nite before sending her over to por por’s place, mummy talked a lot to Emeryn and asked her to behave while she is there. At first, she was very reluctant and cried so badly. Mummy’s heart melted seeing her sweetheart begged to go along with her. Finally Emeryn gave in after knowing she don’t have much choice by saying the below:

Mummy: I ask por por and ah kong to bring Emeryn to Mc Donald’s playground, ok?

Emeryn: I don’t want to go Mc Donalds.

Mummy: I ask por por and ah kong to bring you to KFC and buy the toy you want, ok?

Emeryn: I don’t want to go KFC.

Mummy: What about I ask por por and kong to bring you out for noodle?

Emeryn: I don’t want to eat noodle.

Mummy: Ok, then I’ll bring your milk there. You drink when you’re hungry.

Emeryn: I don’t want my nen-nen. I sit at the sofa and wait for you. You come and fetch me, ok?

Later in the evening, daddy fetched Emeryn to Sunset Bistro, Bt Ferringhi where mummy was with her friends. We went for dinner next to Sunset Bistro before we continued to wait for the countdown. It was Emeryn first time seeing the countdown at such a happening place where there was fireworks as well. We went home shortly after the countdown. It was 1st Jan 2010 the next morning. Mummy went for dim sum for breakfast with her friends at Pekaka. Ah kong and por por joined us for breakfast as well because they were nearby when ah kong called mummy. Mummy left Emeryn at Pekaka shortly after dim sum as she joined her friends for a drink at D’Piazza.

Mummy fetched Emeryn at Pekaka at about 3pm and we headed home for Emeryn’s nap. We had seafood dinner at downtown with granny, ah kong and family as it was ah kong’s 51st Birthday. After the dinner, again mummy dropped Emeryn at por por’s place as mummy went out to QE II with her friends. Emeryn started to get use to stay at por por’s place and did not make any fuss when mummy left her there. At about 11.15pm, Ee Ee and her bf brought Emeryn out to Mc Donalds, Greenlane as she was still awake. Later mummy picked Emeryn at MC Donalds at 1am and she seemed to enjoy herself very much. Emeryn fell asleep in the car before reaching home.

The next morning, we went out for breakfast with Aunty Karen and friends. Aunty Karen left Penang at 2pm. After the breakfast, mummy bid farewell to Aunty Karen as she tagged along with other friends to get some stuff before heading to the bus station. Mummy brought Emeryn to her new shifted school and she started to cry terribly assuming mummy is going to leave her there. We left very soon and did not manage to visit the whole area. We headed home for Emeryn’s afternoon nap. Daddy drove us out to QBM for a walk and mummy bought 3 pairs of earrings for Emeryn. Finally we found the cat earring which Emeryn wanted to get one. Emeryn played at the kid’s world at Jusco and played several kiddy rides at QBM. We went for dinner right after that. After our dinner, we went to Tesco as daddy needed to get some beers and snack as he invited his friend over to our place for a chat and drink. That nite Emeryn was very busy entertaining daddy’s friend and joined them for the chat. Haha. She slept at about 12am when daddy and his friend went out for another drink.

All of us woke up late on Sun morning and we went for our breakfast. Daddy drove us to Penang Hill and later to Kek Lok Si. It was our first time to Kek Lok Si after the completion of the new look. The Kuan Yin statue is extremely huge and amazing. We also donated RM30 and had our names written on the tiles which will be use as the roof top of the temple. We snapped some photo before leaving home. Three of us took our afternoon nap upon reaching home. Both daddy and Emeryn slept until 6pm + and mummy got to wake them up as we needed to go to por por’s place for our usual visit. After visiting por por, we went over to Pekaka before heading home.
