Mini Escape @ Gurney Paragon

Emeryn, the winner

Mini Escape

After the school exam was over, Emeryn has lesser homework and some day no homework at all. Schooling life is getting more enjoyable now than before. Since we are in a more relax mode, we catch up on the Princess Magazine where we have put a stop until the exam was over. Flipping through the previous edition, mummy found Emeryn's name as one of the two winners under Turbo Promotion. Yay, we will be receiving a Turbo limited edition digital watch, kite, windshield shade & Snail fluffy dice. On Fri evening, mummy dropped Emeryn at Pekaka while she picked Por Por and went to pay a visit to mummy's uncle whom was admitted to GH. He was a hit-and-run victim of a road accident. Luckily he was in stable condition now.

Sat was a school day for Emeryn. It was meant for Deepavali's replacement where the school will shut down from 1st - 5th Nov inclusive of Awal Muharram holiday. Emeryn went school on morning session and were forced to skip her GB Maths class. We went home for lunch after school while getting a rest before heading out to Gurney Paragon. We dated aunty Jenny, Hui Ying and Hui Siang for mini escape. It is the same Escape which we went 2 months ago but this event is meant for kids 4-11 years old. Emeryn bravely too the challenge and explore further. As soon as we reached Gurney Paragon, mummy hurried her way to Focus Point where she ordered her contact lense. With her purchase over RM150, we were entitled a free entry to Mini Escape.

Emeryn and Hui Ying started with Monkey Business which involves rope climbing, balancing and lastly flying lemur. After completing it, Emeryn tried on the mini gecko tower where she learns to conquer her fear of height. Amazingly she did very well even though she did not managed to reach to the top. She did not hesitate to try, that was the best moment. She then went for her 2nd and 3rd round of monkey business before hopping over to the body art counter. Emeryn had her hand drawn a butterfly which she specifically requested for it. We were starving after that, thus we walked over to Gurney Plaza for our dinner. We had our dinner at Chili's and to our disappointment the kids meal is really bad. Emeryn ordered mac and cheese and it was a total disaster. After the meal we sat at the al-fresco area and watched the halloween dress up contest. Later we walked back to Gurney Paragon where Emeryn continued two more rounds of monkey business and tried all 4 levels of the gecko tower before heading home.

We started our Sun much earlier than the usual lazy weekend. We went out for breakfast with mummy's friend at about 8.45am and had the whole morning to spent at home.  At about 2.15pm we drove to airport and welcomed Toki Ee Ee home after her holiday at Cambodia. We then headed to Por Por's house for late lunch before making a pitt-stop at 1st Avenue where Ee Ee wanted to grab some heels. Emeryn has been pestering mummy to get her some fishes ever since coming back from Carmen Ee Ee's place. She wanted them as a pet at home. We went to the market and got 5 fishes for Emeryn. After going to 1st Avenue, mummy dropped Toki Ee Ee, Por Por and Ah Kong home. We went home and they proceeded to GH to visit their uncle.
