Beach Outing & Khuntai Dinner

X'mas @ QBM

dinner @ Khuntai

Christmas fell on Mon and its a non working day for mummy. After having a quick lunch at home, we went to QBM along with Uncle Leonard & Karise to witnessed the snow fall at the center court to mark the special day. It's an annual event held by the QBM management. We then went shopping for awhile before leaving for a meal at Super Tanker.

It was the last week before the school reopen and before we got back to our daily routine as usual. On Tues we had a simple home cooked porridge for dinner. We dropped by the uniform store to buy a new set of school uniform for Emeryn on Wed evening on our way home. She was still wearing her white blouse which she wore from Day 1 of Primary One till now. Obviously she hasn't grown too much ever since the past years.

On Fri evening Uncle Leonard drove us to Batu Maung as mummy wanted to try the-most-shout-about Burger Ayam Goreng Njoy. Well, it tasted quite good though but the attractive colors of the bun sure attract our attention. We were looking for a short activities to end the year where we thought of driving to Bukit Kayu Hitam or Sitiawan etc. We somehow drop the idea and instead went out for a beach outing on Sat.

Our initial plan was mandi manda at Taman Rimba which were suggested by Emeryn. We drove from home and make a pit stop at Balik Pulau famous laksa to get some and also bought some cold drinks. We were very disappointed as soon as we reached the entrance of the Taman Rimba. It was closed for some kind of maintenance work. We have no choice but forced to drive on and settled down with a nearby beach. We stopped at the public beach behind Feringghi Beach restaurant. We had our mini picnic and enjoy the meal before the kids proceed to play near the sea.We spend near to 2hours there before they washed up at the public toilet . Though it was a sudden change of plan, no doubt we still had fun going to the beach. We then drove to Khuntai at Teluk Kumbar as mummy was buying dinner for all of us. Mummy invited Theng Ee Ee, Por Por & Ah Kong to join us for dinner. We were the first to reach but it started to rain not long after we were seated. Ah Kong & Theng Ee Ee drove separately. After the scrumptious dinner, we had some photo taking before calling it a day.

The next morning we both woke up early as Emeryn's tuition started at 7.45am. After sending Emeryn to tuition, mummy went for breakfast. After the tuition, we headed over to Por Por's house for our Sun visit. That night it was the last night of 2017, New Year Eve. Mummy & Uncle Leonard celebrated the last day of the year over an instant noodle and topped up with white wine. Cheers to the wonderful 2017 and let's hope for a more colorful 2018.
