Emeryn attended a replacement for Cambridge class on Sat from 1-4pm, instead of her usual schedule on Sun 9am-12pm as we planned for hiking on Sun morning. After her class, we had laksa before going home. Laksa is one of Emeryn's top favorite food as well. Later in the evening we went to Queensbay. That evening we had a joint birthday celebration. 5 out of 6 Mah's babies are October babies. They are Carmen Ee Ee, Toki Ee Ee, Theng Ee Ee, Michael Mah and mummy. Toki Ee Ee and Uncle Lin Chun flew back from Singapore too. TGIF presented us 2 free brownies for the birthday celebration. After finishing the delicious meals, we went to Uniqlo to get winter clothing for Por Por, Ah Kong, Ah Pak and Ah Mou. Before going off, we also bought some pens and pencils from Aeon as a "return" for taking the pens and pencils from the temple on earlier years. It's more like a ritual.

The next morning, Sun at about 7.30am we all gathered at Kek Lok Si before driving up to the Air Itam Dam. We parked our car at the dam and started our hike from there on. The hike took about an hour plus and we hike leisurely together with Shiro, Carmen Ee Ee's dog. Once we reached the peak, we offered prayers and donations before having some light vegetarian meal provided by the temple. We then descended once we are all done and reached our car by 11.30am. We then drove to Por Por's house for lunch. After lunch, mummy went home and Emeryn stayed on with Por Por. That evening we had family dinner at Super Tanker before Toki Ee Ee and her hub flew back to Singapore.
