Mon was a PH for us in view of the Nuzul Al-Quran holiday. Thus the school will only reopened on Tues. We woke up early for a non-working day and mummy prepared breakfast. Later at noon, Uncle Leonard drove us and Karise to Straits Quay as he wanted to buy his badminton sports shoe. We hang out there for less than an hour before continuing our journey to Taman Rimba. Since it was a PH, the place was not as crowded as usual weekend. We literally have the whole place for ourselves. First the girls were a little skeptical to go into the water but slowly she braved themselves and went in. They swam and caught some small fishes using plastic bag. Before leaving, they passed the fishes to some other kids. Uncle Leonard brought along his camera to capture some precious moments. We left at about 4pm after taking a shower at the toilet. On our way home, we bought dinner from Pasar Ramadhan nearby our house.

Emeryn has been asking for home-cooked meal and mummy fulfilled her request by cooking her a dinner on Wed. A simple 45mins cooking is enough to satisfy her taste bud. Mummy was on leave on Fri and she went for breakfast after sending Emeryn to school. She then headed to Tesco for some grocery shopping before heading home. Mummy cooked lunch and asked Uncle Leonard to come over. Emeryn attended her replacement school day on Sat morning and BM tuition later in the afternoon. At night, we drove to airport to pick Toki Ee Ee and Uncle Lin Chun and dropped both of them to Theng Ee Ee's house as they needed to use her car.

On Sun after Emeryn's Cambridge class, we went to Yummy Restaurant to celebrate Father's Day. This round Uncle Leonard & Karise joined our family lunch as well. After the lunch, we headed to Theng Ee Ee's house for a family swimming session. Ah Kong swam after many years not joining us in the pool. We left Ee Ee's house at about 4.30pm and dropped Emeryn to her tutorial class. Mummy sent Karise home after that and picked up Emeryn again at 6.30pm.

coffee time with Ee Ee

Daddy and Emeryn had a date on last Fri. They both went for a movie. Before the movie, Emeryn requested daddy to bring her to the toy vending machine to try her luck. After paying for some big monies, Emeryn got herself 2 toys and she was extremely happy to even called up mummy to inform her. Daddy couldn't make it to finished up the whole movie as he was super busy with all the calls and they ended leaving the cinema after an hour of the show. Daddy dropped Emeryn to mummy at about 5.30pm and we went home. At about 7pm, Uncle Leonard fetched us out for dinner along with Karise. For something different we went to Paya Terubong for dinner. Besides, Uncle Jay gave Emeryn a Swatch watch for her upcoming birthday.

The next day, Emeryn tagged along with mummy to her monthly gathering at Aqua Lab. We were stuck in a bad traffic jam at downtown and took us 50mins to reach our destination from home. After the gathering, mummy dropped Emeryn to her BM tuition. After the tuition we quickly went home and waited for our guests. Theng Ee Ee & her family, Ah Kong & Por Por came to our place for a swim. It was Baby Will's first swimming experience. After the swimming session, we went out for dinner together.

Emeryn attended her Cambridge class on Sun morning. Before the class ends, mummy picked her up at about 11.15am and we headed to her Science tuition replacement class. She has to had a quick lunch while mummy was driving. After her Science tuition ended at 1pm, we drove to Por Por's house. Mummy had a quick lunch there before leaving for her facial. While mummy was at her facial, Emeryn tagged to Theng Ee Ee out for a drink. Mummy went back to fetch Emeryn at Por Por's place by 6.30pm after her facial. Emeryn then went for a swim with Karise upon reaching home.

Cameron Trip

 the beginning of the journey

 @ Concubine Lane

diy steamboat

 breakfast

After Emeryn's Cambridge class on Sun, we drove straight to Penang Bridge and waited for Uncle Leonard & Karise to meet us there. We left Penang at about 12.45pm and heading to Ipoh. It was our first road trip together with them. Our first stop was at the Lou Wong beansprout chicken rice. We walked next to the shop and ordered egg custard from Thea Chun kopitiam. After enjoying our late lunch, we made a pit stop at the Concubine Lane before mummy requested for her Nam Heong white coffee.

We then drove straight to Cameron thereafter. We finally reached the apartment, Natasya Resort at about 6.30pm and then checked in. The apartment is located exactly right in front of Copthorne Hotel and is very spacious. It comes with a kitchen, a living room, a small dining area, 2 bathrooms and a sofa bed. After a short refreshment, we went out to the night market. At first we couldn't locate the market as it has moved to a new location. After asking around, we found it. We walked around the night market and bought dinner back to the apartment. At the apartment, we made strawberry ice blended too as strawberries are really cheap during the Puasa month.

The next morning, we had our breakfast nearby the apartment before going to Kea Farm market. We spent the whole morning there before visiting Bharat Tea Valley. It was a very sunny day and we couldn't make it to stay outdoor too long. We then drove to the funfair next to Cameron Square as the kids wanted to have some rides there. Of all the hypes of cheese cake, we landed ourselves at Strawberry Cottage @ Cameron Square. We ordered nasi lemak cheese cake and chendol cheese cake which were highly recommended by most blogs. Somehow the nasi lemak cheese cake tasted too weird for our liking.

Next we headed to Brinchang and tried hard to get ingredients for steamboat. We got to run several places before we could finally get fish balls, vege, chicken and etc. We drove back to the apartment and start with the preparation and finally start enjoying the hot meal at about 6pm. It was nevertheless a very satisfying meal with most of the preparation was done by Uncle Leonard. It was such a pleasure eating out hot pot in the chilling weather at the apartment's balcony.  After filling our tummies, the kids requested mummy to bring them to the playground to run around. Later in the late evening, we drove to the same night market again as there was no other place to visit at nite.

School Holiday Activities

 movie date with mummy

 personalized bracelet

 lunch @ Arang Cafe

Ice Cafe

 Balloon Fun

School holiday officially started on last week. Coincidentally mummy needs to clear her annual leave before the next financial year, July 2017. Thus mummy took half day leave in the afternoon so she could spend some time with Emeryn. During the morning session, Emeryn attended her daycare and mummy picked her after 12pm. On Mon afternoon, we headed to Gurney Plaza as we wanted to watch Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Long Haul. After securing the ticket at the counter, we went to Sushi King for lunch before proceeded back to the cinema. After the show, mummy made a customized name bracelet for Emeryn at one of the kiosk in front of the cinema. On our way back home, we dropped by to buy dinner home. Upon reaching home, mummy has gotten a big surprise arranged by Uncle Leonard. He came to our house before we reached home and placed a Pandora bracelet on mummy's bed. How lovely!!!

Again, mummy took half day leave in the afternoon on Tues. Mummy then brought Emeryn to Arang Cafe for lunch. It is our favorite hang out place and we haven't visit for awhile already. It felt so good to take time for a meal and surf the internet there. We left Arang at about 2.45pm and headed home. Uncle Leonard picked us from home at about 4pm and all of us went to Karise's daycare to pick her up. We went to the Ice Cafe, the first ever theme cafe in Penang. It is fully decorated with frozen theme and filled with a cozy cold environment. We ordered 2 desserts and spend some time there before going off. Since it was too early for dinner, we made a pit stop at Esplanade playground for both the girls to run around. We went to New Lane for dinner before driving home.

On Thurs, teacher Caline allowed Emery to join the egg tart cooking class without registering. Emeryn happily made an egg tart and saved it for mummy. On Fri evening, Uncle Leonard fetched us and Karise to 1st Avenue as he wanted to check out his badminton shoe. Then, both the girls went into the balloon galore. After having fun with the balloon, they both tried their luck at the toy vending machine. We then drove out for dinner at the hawker stall before going to Por Por's hosue to collect the steamboat pot to bring to our Cameron trip.

Emeryn attended her BM tuition on Sat afternoon and Cambridge on Sun morning.
