CNY Eve falls on Thurs and mummy worked half day in the morning. Emeryn choose to stay at home alone while mummy was at work. Later in the afternoon we went for lunch at Uncle Leonard's house before going back home for some last minutes cleaning before we welcome our guests. At about 5pm, Uncle Leonard drove us to Por Por's house where we had our dinner there. We spent some time at Por Por's house before driving to Ah Chor's house. On yearly basis, there will be a steamboat reunion at Ah Chor's house on CNY Eve. We were too full to eat another round, thus we just hang around for an hour before meeting mummy's aunty and cousin brothers from Ipoh.

After meeting them, we drove around town to find a place to unwind while waiting for Sherine Ee Ee and her family to join us. We stopped at Lagenda House & Cafe for a quick drink while mummy's cousin brothers and aunty had a meal. After filling up our tummies, we hopped over to Love Lane for some cool environment. Sherine Ee Ee, Uncle Will and Carmen Ee Ee joined us for the drinks. After several drinks, mummy decided to call it a day and we drove home as the kids needed to rest. This Chinese New Year was more special than before as we have 2 additions to our family; Uncle Leonard & Karise.

The next morning, CNY Day 1 we woke up at about 8.30am in the morning and spent some time chatting to mummy's aunty. By 10am, another group of relative from KL arrived. Mummy ordered steamboat delivery and it got delivered to our door steps by 11am. We then prepared all the ingredients while waiting for the rest to join us. We had our steamboat lunch at about 2pm at our place before Toki Ee Ee and Uncle Lin Chun arrived Penang at around 5pm. This steamboat was like a pre-reunion for most of us. All of us definitely had so much fun reconnecting and rebonding with each other since we probably we meet once or maximum twice a year. Though we may parted miles apart but the relationship maintain as strong as ever. After the steamboat, our in-house gambling session started. It is not Chinese New Year without gambling $$$. After the gambling session, some of mummy's relatives went out for coffee while Emeryn tagged along with Toki Ee Ee, Uncle Lin Chun and Baby Will for a swim. Thereafter the swimming session, we had the leftover from the steamboat for dinner before driving to Kek Lok Si. We parked quite far and had to walk a bit to reach our destination. As soon as we alighted from the cable car, we only had less than 30mins of visiting before it closes for the day. Lesson learnt:  we must make our trip earlier on next year to avoid such disappointment. On our way home, we stopped for supper and had nasi kandar.

On CNY Day 2, we woke up earlier as we had to visit mummy's granny's home at downtown. Mummy and Uncle Leonard drove separately and met at Ah Chor's house. As our Chinese customary, the married ones distribute red packet while the children happily collect red packet. All of us had a quick lunch at Ah Chor's house leaving to the old folks home. We paid a visit to the old folks home at Penang Home for the Infirm and Aged this year. Prior to the visit, mummy went to the supermarket and bought varieties of biscuits and soya milks. We as a family have been visiting old folks home during CNY for the past few years and happily following the same tradition up to now. After the brief visit, we went to Batu Lanchang market to fill our tummies before heading to downtown for another family gathering. Uncle Leonard and Karise left after the meal as they went home for another family reunion. Sherine Ee Ee & Uncle Will hosted a small party at their rented premise. It was a lovely pre-war house located at Muntri Street with fabulous antic decoration, painting and etc. We had chance for beautiful photo shoot at every corner of the house. When the family gather, the gambling session started along with some light drinking session. We had to cancelled the karaoke session which mummy booked earlier as we wanted to spend more time at this beautiful place. Uncle Leonard joined us not long after that and we managed to have a family photo too. After had enough fun on the poker cards, we all walked out to Red Garden for dinner before driving home.

Again, we woke up earlier on Day 3 and hopped over to the same rented premise to snap more photo before proceeding to our family reunion luncheon at ZhongHua Gourmet @ Cititel. The lunch was undeniably good. Next, was our family photo shoot session at Sulfolk Garden. Our theme was denim & white colour. All of us survive the hot sunny afternoon and still managed to take beautiful moments. We then drove home for a rest before mummy resume work the next day.
