Wesak Day falls on Wed and it means another public holiday for us. That morning mummy was still on the bed till Uncle Leonard sent her a message. After replying his message, mummy quickly got readied and all of us headed out for breakfast at Island Park. After our breakfast we went to the temple along with Uncle Leonard & Karise as they wanted to have a prayer in view of Wesak Day. After the prayer, we headed home with packed lunch for the girls. Uncle Leonard went back to work as he was rushing for a project submission. Mummy brought the girls to the reading room to do their revision as it was the exam week. We had some rest in between intervals and revision. After revising for at least 2 hours, the girls wanted to go for a swim. Mummy accompanied them to the pool as there was no adult accompanying both of them. Uncle Leonard reached home after 7pm and just about time the girls were done with their swim. That evening, mummy was a bit hesitate to drive out to buy dinner, thus we had some instant noodle for our dinner.

On Fri, Emeryn came back with a Mother's Day gift which she bought from school. The gift was wrapped in a black colored paper, mummy's favorite color. We met Uncle Leonard & Karise for dinner at Pisa Corner before going home. Later in the evening, they came over to our place bringing a small piece of cake to celebrate Mother's Day for mummy.

On Sat morning, mummy & Uncle Leonard had their first attempt on chicken & mushroom pie, a recipe courtesy by Toki Ee Ee. Due to the morning rush, they both had missed out some steps and the pie doesn't turn out perfect. Though it doesn't looks too good, but it tasted ok. Later in the afternoon we had a quick bite from McDonalds before sending Emeryn to her BM tuition. After her tuition, Uncle Leonard drove all of us to Easy Brew for dinner. Mummy bought 3 vouchers from Fave and we had dinner as a small celebration for Mother's Day. We reached there slightly earlier than our booking time, so we hopped over to the heritage site and witnessed a lion dance. We spend about 2 hours at Easy Brew for dinner before driving home.

The next morning, mummy sent Emeryn to her Cambridge class before we had another Mother's Day celebration over lunch with Theng Ee Ee  family, Por Por and Ah Kong. We went for Thai cuisine at Sriwan. After our lunch, we met up with Uncle Leonard where he dropped Karise to us. We then went to Pulau Tikus for Emeryn's eye check. Emeryn was so excited knowing that she is now officially needing a glasses. She selected the similar model as Theng Ee Ee's glasses and it costs mummy RM330. After visiting the optometry, we headed over to Por Por's house along with Karise. This was her second time going to Por Por's place and the kids finally had a great time playing with Baby Will. Uncle Leonard came over at about 4.30pm to pick Karise home. We stayed for another hour before leaving. Upon reaching home, Emeryn went to the playground and played her skooter along with Karise before calling it a day.
