On
Mon after school dismissed, Emeryn told mummy that she lost her 9th
milk tooth without her realizing. She only knew it when her friend told her
that her tooth is missing. Isn’t that the most absurd thing that can happen?
She must have either swallow her tooth or drop it out accidentally. Earlier
mummy thought that Emeryn was making a joke but it wasn’t a joke at all. That
evening, mummy cooked porridge but unfortunately mummy cut her finger while
clearing the stuck basin. It bleeds so much that mummy almost passed out. Mummy
suffers the pain whole nite as the cut was quite bad.
It
was a long long weekend in conjunction of Labour’s Day and Wesak Day. We didn’t
plan any ad-hoc break to anywhere but rather choose to stay at home to avoid
the massive jam. Mummy cooked western breakfast in the morning and we only went
out for dinner with mummy’s friend. Mummy stopped by at Komtar as she bought a
pair of sport shoe before we head to Batu Feringhi. We had our dinner at the
hawker stall but the price hike was really bad. Mummy hasn’t been to Batu
Feringhi for more than a year. After our dinner, we walked at the nite market
as Emeryn wanted to buy some cd. She also ended up with some card games and a
hand-held fan. Before going home, we had
a quick coffee at Coffee Journey.
Theng
Ee Ee broke a happy news to us, she is finally pregnant after trying for almost
a year. Mummy was overjoy with the news and quickly brought out her precious
box. A box which contains Emeryn’s old clothing as a new born. Mummy kept it
really well and start to spring clean all those clothing. On Sat, mummy washed
half of the clothing, iron and hang it nicely before passing it over to Theng
Ee Ee. Later in the evening, we drove to the nite market behind our house. We
were very happy to spot our favourite fruit, the durian. Though it was really
pricey, mummy bought one to satisfy our drooling moment. We had durian and
Malay chicken rice for dinner.
The
next day, Sun, we went to Sunshine Square for our brunch before our grocery
shopping over there. Mummy wanted to bake some muffin and she started searching
online for recipe. After buying all the ingredients, we went home and start
preparing for the baking session. It was mummy’s first time baking and her
first time really utilizing our brand new oven. Well, the texture came out
really presentable but it didn’t rise as it should. Nevertheless, Emeryn gave
mummy two thumbs up for the yummy little effort. The muffin was empty in the
middle and the dough was not baked enough. Perhaps this failure was contribute
by the overly blended mixture. No worry, we will try again soon.
After clearing all the mess, we went to Por Por’s house for our usual visit and had dinner there before leaving. We headed to Karpal Singh Drive for a quick cycling as mummy has promised Emeryn earlier. After the cycling session, we went to Tesco to grab some ingredient as mummy wanted to cook chicken rice the next day. At Tesco, mummy bumped into her secondary school friend. We then drove home.
