Selamat Hari Merdeka, Malaysia

Last week was the day where we Malaysian celebrated our 56th Independence Day on Sat. For the previous years,  we celebrated Merdeka abroad, going for trips. But this year was an exception where mummy has lost her luxury of traveling. Mummy doesn't like the idea of bringing Emeryn for a trip and missing her classes. Thus, she has to bear the consequences.

On Fri lunch hour, mummy bought moon cake. And in the evening, mummy sent Emeryn to Pekaka where she over night there while mummy, Carmen Ee Ee, Ah Kong, Por Por, Ah Pak and Ah Mou (mummy's uncle and auntie) went for a movie date. They headed for Pawn Shop (a Thai ghost movie) where admission is only 18years old & above. The movie was bad enough to comment further. After the movie, we went for late nite supper before heading home.

The next day, Sat, mummy picked Emeryn at noon hour and had lunch together before going home. Surprisingly Emeryn took an afternoon nap as she woke up early that morning. We had a family dinner at New Lane and went over to Pacific Komtar after our dinner. Emeryn was requesting for double yolks moon cake, her all time favorite. After the quick shop, we bid Carmen Ee Ee goodbye before heading to New Lane again, where mummy collected her Korean cosmetic from her ex uni mates who has just returned from Seoul. We dropped Por Por home and went home right after that.

On Sun, we did a lot of revision and reading in the morning. Emeryn enjoyed doing her Princess magazine very much. Mummy went out and bought lunch back home. We continued with the books and magazine until we went out to Youth Park at about 4pm. Emeryn played on her scooter. It looks like her fractured bone has recovered perfectly. While she was playing, mummy captured some of Emeryn's videos. Unfortunately the weather wasn't kind enough that afternoon that it started to drizzle not long after Emeryn heads over to the playground. We called off our playground time and drove to Por Por's place. We made a pit-stop by the roadside where Emeryn requested for coconut drinks. We had our dinner at Por Por's place before going home and continued doing the revision. It's time to prepare for the final exam. It was so good that Emeryn started to read on her own now, without needing mummy to sit by her side.
