School holiday officially started last week on 28th May 2012 and it would be a 2 weeks long break. Although it's a school holiday, mummy will still have to send Emeryn to daycare. After the swim at Flamingo last Sun, Emeryn was down with slight fever on Mon morning where she was kept monitored closely under medicine. Mummy was also infected with the same virus where she visited the clinic during her lunch hour on Mon. Both mummy & Emeryn slept early on Mon nite and things does not get better the next morning. Mummy decided to take sick leave while nursing Emeryn at home together. We went to the clinic on Tues morning and spent the rest of the day at home, resting.
Mummy went to work the next day while Emeryn attended daycare. Her fever has subsided but developed some nasty cough instead. Ah Ma picked Emeryn from the daycare in the afternoon as they are planning for a family dinner. Florence insisted to tagged together. That evening mummy went for dinner with her friend and picked Emeryn at about 10pm from Pekaka.
Emeryn's cough does not get any better so mummy decided to bring her to LWE to make a visit to Dr Tan on Friday noon as we will be traveling next weekend. She was prescribed a new cough syrup and we are keeping our finger crossed that it will works well. For the rest of the few evenings, Emeryn slept early and she has become inactive. It worries mummy seeing her in that pathetic way.
It was the Agung's B'day on Sat, thus Art Class was closed. Ah Kong and Por Por came over to our place in the morning and brought Emeryn to Giant for grocery shopping. Emeryn came back at about 1pm, with a new sandal which she requested them to get it for her. Mummy cooked porridge for lunch and we curled up at home catching mummy & daddy's wedding dvd together. Later in the evening, we went to Prangin Mall as mummy needed to exchange more hkd currency. We had our dinner at Sushi King before heading to the pasar malam at Pekaka for a quick walk. HKD has strengthened and mummy only managed to get a conversion of 2.44 instead of 2.52 earlier. Emeryn fell asleep while on the way home.
We had dim sum for breakfast along with Ah Kong, Por Por, Ah Mou and Carmen Ee Ee on Sun morning. We went to the Children's Library as we needed to return the book we borrowed. Emeryn went into the iPlay room and played for awhile before we do a quick reading at the reference area. We went to downtown after that to get a small backpack for our HK trip. Emeryn ended up deciding on a blue Angry Bird backpack. We went home for a nap before heading out to Por Por's house for dinner. Again, Emeryn ended her evening early due to the medication.
