Mummy enrolled Emeryn to Cikgu Mariam's tuition on Tues.

Last Sat was a replacement school for CNY holiday. Teacher Phylis was very kind to allow Emeryn to attend earlier class as she would not be able to attend her usual afternoon Art Class due to the school replacement. Emeryn attended Art Class at 9.30am and continued with GB Maths till 12.45pm. Mummy was late, picking up Emeryn from GB Maths class. Being late, Emeryn skipped her proper lunch and only had a tiny bit of porridge before the school bell rang. After sending Emeryn to school, mummy went to Aunty Jenny's house to pay the last respect to her late mother who passed away due to heart attack. Later mummy went to Prangin Mall as she wanted to get high heels for CNY. With just a quick shopping, mummy managed to get 2 pairs of high heels and a pair of flat. After school we had dinner together with Ah Kong, Por Por and Toki Ee Ee. Emeryn requested for some firecrackers, which mummy got it for her. We went home for shower before mummy sent Emeryn to Por Por's place for a nite as mummy went out for drinks with her friends.

On Sun, mummy picked Emeryn from Por Por's place at about noon time and we bought home lunch. We then spent the whole afternoon at home, doing homework and watching movie. In the evening, mummy drove out and bought home dinner.

Last Tues was a public holiday, The Prophet Muhammad's birthday. We went to Sunshine Square as mummy wanted to get a cheongsam for Emeryn using the cash voucher she has gotten from her sales incentive. We had a quick grocery shopping before having our lunch at the food court. We dropped by at the Sunshine Bowl as mummy wanted to introduce bowling to Emeryn. Immediately Emeryn was very eager to try it out but mummy promised to bring her there soon. Later in the evening, Emeryn went for a BM tuition trial class as mummy has decided to stop her current BM tuition. Gladly Emeryn likes the environment and agree to enroll in. While Emeryn was at the tuition, mummy went to BJ Complex and bought a new hand phone for herself. It was a Lenovo S960. 

Friday was another public holiday for Thaipusam. We started our day very early for a non-working day. After a quick drink at home, we headed to Sunshine Square as mummy has promised to bring Emeryn for a bowling experience. Prior to the bowling day, Emeryn has "invited" two of her classmates to join her but unfortunately none of them turn up. Mummy ordered a special kids lane for Emeryn and we started with just 1 game. Emeryn wasn't very into the whole game. She wasn't enthusiastic enough to learn the correct way but just bowled for fun. After completing 1 game, she asked for more and mummy paid for another 2 more games. Emeryn finished all 3 games on her own. When it was time to leave, she refused and wanted more but of course mummy rejected the request. Before heading for our lunch, we bought a bed sheet set for Emeryn. As expected she choose her fav color, purple. Again we had our lunch at the food court before leaving. At home, we spring-cleaned Emeryn's room and had her bed sheet changed to the new one. After the room is cleaned, mummy and Emeryn played some games together. Later in the evening we had our dinner at Sushi King, Egate. After the dinner, Emeryn requested for a slice of her fav durian cheese cake from Secret Recipe.

We started our Sat early again. We picked mummy's friend from the airport at 9.30am and headed for breakfast together before sending him home. Mummy brought Emeryn to the playground at Ashley Green before sending her to GB Maths class. Mummy bought economy rice for Emeryn's lunch before leaving the center. After her GB Maths class, she would have her lunch before continuing her Karangan class. And after her Karangan class, her teacher will walk her to her Art Class. It was indeed a hectic Saturday for Emeryn. Mummy picked Emeryn from Art Class at 5pm and we went home for a rest before heading out for dinner. We had our dinner at Kimberley Street hawker center along with Ah Kong, Por Por, Carmen Ee Ee, Sherine Ee Ee and Ah Mou. After our dinner, we went for a drink at Goh Kaki, Bishop Street. Mummy discussed the Taiwan itinerary with Sherine Ee Ee. At the cafe Emeryn occupied herself with the traditional game, congkak and also played stack 'em with Por Por. We went home at 11pm.

Early riser never ends even till Sun. We have been waking up early every single day. Mummy went out for breakfast cum catch up session with her friends, Kelly and Jane at Gold Choice Cafe at One Precinct. As usual, Emeryn tagged along as well. At about 12 noon, Beena Kor Kor came and fetched Emeryn out. After the catch-up session, mummy went home and did some house chores before picking Emeryn at jetty. We then went to Por Por's house for our usual Sun visit and had our dinner there before leaving.

School mode was on for the past whole week and our routine seems to tune in beautifully. No major change on lil' cheeky routine except changing a new school transporter and no more computer class on Wed since the timing ain't good. On Mon, Emeryn attended BM tuition class and mummy was surprised that she was the only student left in the class. Either the rest of the student has decided not to continue with the class or simply because it was the 1st lesson, thus they have not prepare for the new semester yet. 

Anyhow mummy has decided not to proceed with the same tuition class moving on. Thus on Wed evening, we visited another tuition center nearer to our home. The lesson is conducted by a Malay lady teacher and the center looks very conducive for teaching. Emeryn will attend the trial lesson on next week.

Mummy dropped Emeryn at Por Por's house on Fri evening as she went out for a quick dinner and coffee with her friend before bringing Emeryn home at about 10.30pm. While on Sat, Emeryn attended 3 classes from 11.30am to 5pm, her hectic schedule on weekend. Poor, baby!!! Mummy bought her lunch and placed it in the daycare kitchen. She would had her lunch at 1.15pm before the Karangan class starts. As soon as the Karangan class ends, the teacher will send her to the Art Class, from 3-5pm. We went home after the art class for a rest before driving out for dinner. We had our dinner at Sawasdee together with Ah Kong, Por Por, Toki Ee Ee, Sherine Ee Ee, Mic Ah Chik, Ah Pak and Ah Mou. After our filling dinner, we hang out at Moustache Houz. It is our common practice nowadays when we have family gathering, to have a chat over coffee before ending the day.

On Sun, we spent our day at home from morning till early evening before going over to Por Por's house for our dinner. After our dinner we headed to Twelve Cups as Emeryn was craving for its crepe. This round Ah Kong decided not to join us but Theng Ee Ee and her hubby went along with us. As usual we took lots of photo. Emeryn specially requested for her name to be written on the cake serving. She was a bit shy to request and asked mummy to request on her behalf. Mummy rejected and asked her to request on her own if she really wants it. And voila, she did and got her request fulfilled. We went home after savoring the coffee and cake.

Mummy bought Emeryn's CNY dress on Tues when she went out for lunch at QBM. It was the same dress which Emeryn tried earlier but we walked away since they do not offer 10% discount. It's something special for Emeryn since she has never had a long sleeve lacey dress. Since 2-3 years ago, we have stopped going out for a New Year countdown. We spent our nite at home and Emeryn slept before the new year arrived. 

On the 2014 New Year morning, Emeryn surprisingly woke mummy up and suggested to go shopping. It was a huge surprise as she has never fancy any shopping trip. Perhaps it was her excuse to get mummy out of the bed, knowing mummy is a shopaholic. We had our breakfast at home before going over to Por Por's house. It was a girl's day out. Mummy brought Por Por along for the hopping trip as she wanted to get some new clothing for Por Por. We went to Prangin Mall. Emeryn had her lunch at Mc D before we started to shop. We shopped for almost 4hours and Por Por managed to grab 2 tops for herself. Ah Kong joined us for dinner after that.

After the new beginning started, it marks the new semester for the school as well. From this year onwards, Emeryn will have a new transporter as the previous transporter has retired. For the first day, mummy went to the daycare to check out the new transporter during her lunch break. Emeryn is still in the same class with her previous classmates. Our daily routine of homework and revision start from the day the school reopened.

Emeryn's schedule on Sat is very pack. It started with GB Maths at 11.30am, followed by Karangan class at 1.30pm and art class at 3pm. Mummy went to Tesco to run some errand after sending Emeryn to her class. Mummy went back to the daycare at 1pm and brought Emeryn lunch. After her Karangan class, the teacher sent Emeryn to her art class at 3pm and mummy picked her up at 5pm. It was a back to back schedule. Later in the evening we drove out to get our dinner. We tried the famous Dayumm burger at Sg. Nibong. The burger was very filling even thou mummy shares half of it with Emeryn.

Emeryn has been pestering mummy to bring her for a ferry ride which mummy has promised earlier on. Mummy's initial plan was to take a bus from our home to jetty and then follow by a ferry ride to Butterworth before taking the bus home again. Somehow mummy aborted the plan to take the bus and decided to drive directly to Jetty. We started our day early on Sun. We went out to shop for lighting and fan as we needed a better lighting in order for Emeryn to do her homework. Our 8-9years old fan has almost ended its life cycle, thus we need a new one. Even the fan is turn on to the highest speed, it still feels like trapping in a sauna room. After getting what we want, we headed for a late lunch at Weld Quay before going over to the jetty. It was Emeryn's 1st time using the ferry as a pedestrian and she was thrilled with it. We made a U-turn after alighting from the ferry as soon as it reaches Butterworth and boarded the same ferry back to Penang. Emeryn requested for a 2nd ride when we reach but mummy said no to her. We went over to Penang Road and bought ice kacang and chendol before heading to Por Por's place. We had our dinner there before heading home.

Merry X'mas

On X'mas eve, mummy went off from work at 3pm and headed straight to the daycare to pick her princess up. Mummy's initial plan was to fulfill her promise of letting Emeryn perm her hair. Emeryn has been requesting for a curly hair since ages ago and mummy promised her "wait till Christmas when your hair is long enough". Finally X'mas is here and mummy has to keep to her promise. Unfortunately the hair salon was closed and we left in disappointment. Mummy then drove to Prangin Mall to repair her hand phone. Mummy's nokia hand phone's life cycle is near to 4years old now and still serving her well except recently. Mummy jumped in excitement knowing it was just a minor problem and it was fixed in just 10minutes. What a relief!!! Or else mummy would have expected to spend at least RM1k+ for a new phone. After the repair, we walked along Kimberley Street and check out some wholesaler place. Mummy has yet to get Emeryn a CNY dress to date. Luck wasn't at our side as we went home empty handed except buying some meal to fix the hungry stomach. At about 9pm we went to the airport and pick mummy's friend and bought a burger home for supper. We celebrated X'mas eve at home, a silent night indeed.

Whilst on 25th Dec the X'mas day we started our day slightly earlier than our usual weekend. Mummy called the salon owner before going over to avoid another disappointment. Luckily it was open. We had our porridge lunch before going over to the salon. Emeryn had her hair perm into big curls while mummy had a hair treatment. It took us about 3hours. After fixing our hair we headed to QBM for shopping. After walking for awhile Emeryn requested for Baskin Robin and mummy fulfilled her request. We continued our shopping until we walked into the middle zone where Emeryn stopped to watch the Candyland musical show. It was her second time watching and still she enjoyed it. Our shopping continued until Beena Kor Kor called up. She then picked Emeryn from QBM and brought her out for dinner with Ah Ma and Ah Kong leaving mummy continued her shopping alone. At about 10pm, mummy ended her shopping spree and picked Emeryn up from Kor Kor's house before heading home.

The next day Emeryn woke up and complained of a slight headache. Mummy fed her panadol before sending her to daycare. At 4pm the daycare teacher sent Emeryn to her Art Class. Her Art teacher told mummy that Emeryn was feeling unwell and she napped awhile during the class. We hurried home and mummy fed Emeryn with panadol again as she was having fever. Mummy fed her dinner and sponge bath her before putting her on the bed. Emeryn slept the whole nite through.

On Fri, mummy sent Emeryn to daycare and took half day leave in the afternoon to babysit the sick girl. After fetching her from the daycare, we went to SKCGL and bought her exercise book in preparation for her Std 2. We then headed home for a rest.

Eneryn attended GB Maths and Karangan class on Sat. We dropped by at QBM as mummy intended to get Emeryn to try on a dress she spotted earlier. The dress fits her well but unfortunately the 10% discount is no longer there. We left empty handed. That nite Emeryn slept early.

On Sun morning, Ah Ma called up and later pick Emeryn over to Pekaka. Emeryn then went out with Beena Kor Kor to Balik Pulau and Gurney Plaza. At about 3.30pm mummy went to Gurney Plaza and picked Emeryn. We then shopped awhile at Gurney Paragon for Emeryn's CNY dress. Again we left empty handed. Before going over to Por Por's house, we dropped by at Esplanade playground for Emeryn. We had our dinner at Por Por's house and went home after that.
