After the long holiday from the post election, the mid term exam started on 14th, the first day after a long break. We haven't been doing a lot of revision for this exam. Mummy tries not to stress Emeryn further as she is already attending two different tuition for Maths and Science and loaded with too many homework. As usual we will do some light revision every evening in preparation of the exam on the next day.

Due to the ad-hoc public holiday for election, mummy & Uncle Leonard's ROM which was scheduled on 10th May have to be reschedule. In conjunction of the winning of Pakatan Harapan taking over the new government, we were given 2 days public holiday on Thurs & Fri. Their ROM was given a special date, which was on 15th May. 15th May is also Uncle Leonard's birthday. In a way, it's a blessing in disguise where they wanted their initial ROM to be on 15th but the registrar can't accommodate to the date. Mummy worked half day on 15th and left the office at noon. She went for a simple hairdo at the hair saloon before going home for refreshment. Ah Kong & Por Por picked Emeryn from school and headed straight to JPN for the ROM. They brought along Baby Will. It was a real fast event and everything was done in less than an hour. Finally mummy has remarried and it's official now. Mummy dropped Emeryn at the daycare as she needed to revise for the exam whereas mummy and Uncle Leonard went to QBM to buy a birthday lunch for Uncle Leonard.

On Wed nite, we dropped Ah Kong & Por Por at the airport after fetching Emeryn from tuition. They are heading to HK all on their own. Fri was the last day of exam. Mummy & Uncle Leonard were on marriage leave. After school on Fri, we picked Emeryn and Karise before we headed for lunch. After lunch we went over to 1st Avenue Redbox. We spent about 3 hours there singing before going home. Emeryn had a lot of fun singing her all-time fav hits and dancing to the music.

We spent our Sat morning at home and mummy went out later to buy lunch as Emeryn needed to complete her tuition homework. By 4.30pm Uncle Leonard dropped us at Elit Avenue as mummy needed to get herself a manicure before the wedding photo shoot on Sun. Mummy had a beautiful french manicure. Uncle Leonard and Karise came back and fetch us to the Pasar Ramadhan Bayan Baru to grab dinner. It is the time of the year where we could savor variety of great Malay food under one roof. That nite we ended our day early as all of us needed a good sleep before the photo shoot.

Mummy woke up at about 6.15am and get ready. We went out from home at about 7.20am to get breakfast and lunch before driving over to the bridal shop. The make up artist started off with Emeryn's hairdo before mummy's turn. Uncle Leonard & Karise reached at about 9.30am. We started off with the photography session at about 10.30am and later Karise's grandma picked Emeryn & Karise to tuition. Mummy & Uncle Leonard continued with the photo shoot up to 5pm and eventually reach home by 8pm.

 Mother's Day breakfast

Last week marked a new historic date for all Malaysian. It was the 14th General Election which falls on Wednesday. The school was off a day prior to the polling day in preparation for the classroom to be use for the voting. Emeryn attended full daycare on Tues while mummy was at work. The election day was announced as a public holiday for all. Mummy brought along Emeryn to the voting station located at SK Hamid Khan. We left home at about 10.30am and bumped into daddy while we were waiting in the queue. We were made to wait for at least an hour before it was mummy's turn to do her part as a proud Malaysian. Mummy told Emeryn that day would surely mark as a new history creation where we witness a new beginning, a new hope for all. Of course Emeryn was puzzled over mummy's statement. Emeryn proudly told mummy she wanted to cast her vote as well and mummy asked her to wait for another 2 more rounds where she would be an eligible voter. After leaving the school, we headed to eGate and had lunch at Tsuruya. Uncle Leonard came from home to join us for lunch. After lunch, mummy dropped Emeryn at tuition as the tuition was rescheduled to an earlier timing. While waiting for tuition, mummy went to Tesco with Uncle Leonard.

Mummy waited till 2am+ for the election result and yet we couldn't get a final confirmation. The next morning we woke up to a New Malaysia where Pakatan Harapan has won. The new government has announced two days PH in conjunction of their winning. We spent our Thurs at home doing revision for the upcoming mid term exam. Ah Kong & Por Por came over to our house for a visit, bringing along Baby Will. Emeryn brought him to the indoor nursery to play and they left in less than 2hours as Baby Will was having fever. Teacher Caline offered Emeryn a 4hours revision class on Fri to prepare for her exam. After picking Emeryn from daycare, Uncle Leonard drove us for lunch. After the lunch, both kids requested to go to Jdog as we were at the same area. We bought a Fave voucher on the spot and the kids went in for the dog petting. The kids were too full that they can't consume the meal there, so we asked for a take away. We went home at about 3pm+, had a quick refreshment before mummy insisted Emeryn to continue her revision. Later in the evening, mummy prepared dinner and had Uncle Leonard & Karise joining us. That nite they stayed over at our place.

As for Sat, mummy reheat the leftover soup and cook some rice for Emeryn before buying her lunch later in the afternoon. We then spent the afternoon at home revising together until evening. Uncle Leonard drove all of us out for dinner and we went to Uncle Lanz Nasi Lemak, one of the so-called must try nasi lemak in Penang. After the sumptuous meal, we went to Sunshine Square for a walk before going home.

The next morning, Emeryn surprised mummy with a wake up call. As soon as mummy stepped into the living hall, she served mummy with her favorite white coffee, albeit a little warm followed by a Milo crunch filled with milk and lastly cut banana topped with honey. She said she had accidentally cut her skin while cutting the banana. Poor girl :( School was closed for almost a week, thus she couldn't grab any gift for Mother's Day like what she used to do on every year without fail. That was a simple yet meaningful Mother's Day for mummy. Later mummy bought her lunch before sending her to tuition. Mummy then went to Por Por's house for lunch and guided Ah Kong on Hong Kong itinerary. Mummy also brought back Por Por's home cooked for dinner. After tuition, Emeryn went for a swim nad later had a last minutes refresher before going to bed. Mummy and Uncle Leonard went to Starbucks for a quick drink thereafter.

 her typical breakfast

 breakfast at McD

 meet the parents

1st May, Labour Day falls on Tues and again we are off from both school and work. Emeryn gave mummy a surprise in the morning when she walked out from her room, seeing Emeryn diligently completing the homework mummy gave her. It was a sight mummy appreciates very well. Later at noon, Uncle Leonard drove us to QBM. We had our lunch at Queen's Market before leaving the kids at Jco. Since exam is coming soon, mummy wanted the kids to have some revision and to avoid from disturbing while they shop. Mummy ordered a drink for both and went on shopping with Uncle Leonard for the upcoming wedding shoot. By the end of the day, we managed to get a dress for both and Uncle Leonard's long sleeve shirts.

While Emeryn was at tuition on Wed evening, mummy & Uncle Leonard quickly drove to Prangin Mall as they wanted to get a wedding heels. After trying in a few shops, mummy finally laid her eyes on a pair of beautiful sparkling bling bling silver heels. Without much hesitation, mummy paid for it. Job done. On Fri, we had dinner at Four Season Restaurant where mummy bought the deal at Fave. Uncle Leonard & Karise stayed over at our place that nite.

The next morning, we went to Mc D for breakfast. Later in the afternoon mummy dropped Emeryn to her replacement tuition. While Emeryn was at tuition, mummy went to the Follow Me warehouse sale and bought many toiletries at a very good bargain. That evening, we had dinner at Summerton where Ah Kong & Por Por meet up with Uncle Leonard's parents for the first time.

On Sun, we went over to Por Por's house for a quick lunch before dropping Emeryn to tuition. Mummy & Uncle Leonard went to QBM while waiting for Emeryn. Mummy bought a headset for Uncle Leonard as his birthday gift. After tuition, Emeryn went for a swim with Karise. That evening, we had Por Por's home cooked for dinner.

Mummy is Back

 @ KhunDe

 dinner @ BreadKing

Mummy landed in Penang airport past midnite on Fri. Mummy has been holidaying at Luang Prabang for the past 5days. Earlier Por Por and Ah Kong sent Emeryn home and they left at about 10pm after settling down Emeryn. Emeryn went to bed alone while waiting for mummy to be home. She kept reminding mummy to wake her up upon reaching home as she misses mummy hell a lot. Mummy only managed to get some rest after 1am and the next morning we woke up early as Emeryn was having her school activities.

At 12.30pm, mummy picked Emeryn from school and we headed to Khun De for lunch, satisfying our craving for hot spicy stuff.  We went home happily with full tummy. Emeryn attended her Sun tuition after having her lunch while mummy and Uncle Leonard head over to LeParfait to try on their wedding suits. As for dinner we headed out to Bread King.
