School holiday officially started on last week. Coincidentally mummy needs to clear her annual leave before the next financial year, July 2017. Thus mummy took half day leave in the afternoon so she could spend some time with Emeryn. During the morning session, Emeryn attended her daycare and mummy picked her after 12pm. On Mon afternoon, we headed to Gurney Plaza as we wanted to watch Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Long Haul. After securing the ticket at the counter, we went to Sushi King for lunch before proceeded back to the cinema. After the show, mummy made a customized name bracelet for Emeryn at one of the kiosk in front of the cinema. On our way back home, we dropped by to buy dinner home. Upon reaching home, mummy has gotten a big surprise arranged by Uncle Leonard. He came to our house before we reached home and placed a Pandora bracelet on mummy's bed. How lovely!!!

Again, mummy took half day leave in the afternoon on Tues. Mummy then brought Emeryn to Arang Cafe for lunch. It is our favorite hang out place and we haven't visit for awhile already. It felt so good to take time for a meal and surf the internet there. We left Arang at about 2.45pm and headed home. Uncle Leonard picked us from home at about 4pm and all of us went to Karise's daycare to pick her up. We went to the Ice Cafe, the first ever theme cafe in Penang. It is fully decorated with frozen theme and filled with a cozy cold environment. We ordered 2 desserts and spend some time there before going off. Since it was too early for dinner, we made a pit stop at Esplanade playground for both the girls to run around. We went to New Lane for dinner before driving home.

On Thurs, teacher Caline allowed Emery to join the egg tart cooking class without registering. Emeryn happily made an egg tart and saved it for mummy. On Fri evening, Uncle Leonard fetched us and Karise to 1st Avenue as he wanted to check out his badminton shoe. Then, both the girls went into the balloon galore. After having fun with the balloon, they both tried their luck at the toy vending machine. We then drove out for dinner at the hawker stall before going to Por Por's hosue to collect the steamboat pot to bring to our Cameron trip.

Emeryn attended her BM tuition on Sat afternoon and Cambridge on Sun morning.

Sunday with Theng Ee Ee

outing with Theng Ee Ee

School exam has finally ended last week. It is more like a honeymoon week now before the school holiday starts. Mummy was on leave on Mon and she went to celebrate Uncle Leonard's birthday. They both went to Mansion 32 for lunch before proceeded to QBM for some shopping. Emeryn can't wait for Wed for Ah Ma to pick her from school and collect her new spectacles. She got overly excited parading her new accessory. That evening we went down for a slow jog with Uncle Leonard. Mummy can only managed 3km but Emeryn did even lesser than mummy. She had her skooter running along with her, probably only 1.5km to 2km.

We went for dinner at Mc Donalds on Fri evening along with Uncle Leonard & Karise. Only the kids had their meal there as they wanted to get the pony collection, whereas the adult went for local delights, hokkien mee after that. We headed home right after the meal as it was drizzling. Uncle Leonard went for his training early in the morning, leaving Karise with us. Mummy overslept and woke up at 9.15am and quickly rushed out to grab breakfast before the grille installation is done. Mummy got worried upon hearing few robbery cases and decided to install the grille at our yard. The installation was quick and done in just 15mins. Emeryn attended her BM tuition later whereas mummy went to Sunshine Square for grocery shopping. Later in the evening Uncle Leonard drove mummy and Karise to pick Emeryn from tuition and we went to downtown for dinner before dropping by at Karpal Singh Drive.

On Sun, Emeryn went for her Cambridge class as usual in the morning. After the class we went to Por Por's house for lunch. Emeryn & Karise spent the afternoon at Por Por's house and Theng Ee Ee brought them all out to the temple and had a quick meal before going back to Por Por's house. Mummy and Uncle Leonard went for a movie at 1st Avenue. We drove home at about 5.30pm. Later both the kids went down to the community hall to play as it was raining.

Wesak Day falls on Wed and it means another public holiday for us. That morning mummy was still on the bed till Uncle Leonard sent her a message. After replying his message, mummy quickly got readied and all of us headed out for breakfast at Island Park. After our breakfast we went to the temple along with Uncle Leonard & Karise as they wanted to have a prayer in view of Wesak Day. After the prayer, we headed home with packed lunch for the girls. Uncle Leonard went back to work as he was rushing for a project submission. Mummy brought the girls to the reading room to do their revision as it was the exam week. We had some rest in between intervals and revision. After revising for at least 2 hours, the girls wanted to go for a swim. Mummy accompanied them to the pool as there was no adult accompanying both of them. Uncle Leonard reached home after 7pm and just about time the girls were done with their swim. That evening, mummy was a bit hesitate to drive out to buy dinner, thus we had some instant noodle for our dinner.

On Fri, Emeryn came back with a Mother's Day gift which she bought from school. The gift was wrapped in a black colored paper, mummy's favorite color. We met Uncle Leonard & Karise for dinner at Pisa Corner before going home. Later in the evening, they came over to our place bringing a small piece of cake to celebrate Mother's Day for mummy.

On Sat morning, mummy & Uncle Leonard had their first attempt on chicken & mushroom pie, a recipe courtesy by Toki Ee Ee. Due to the morning rush, they both had missed out some steps and the pie doesn't turn out perfect. Though it doesn't looks too good, but it tasted ok. Later in the afternoon we had a quick bite from McDonalds before sending Emeryn to her BM tuition. After her tuition, Uncle Leonard drove all of us to Easy Brew for dinner. Mummy bought 3 vouchers from Fave and we had dinner as a small celebration for Mother's Day. We reached there slightly earlier than our booking time, so we hopped over to the heritage site and witnessed a lion dance. We spend about 2 hours at Easy Brew for dinner before driving home.

The next morning, mummy sent Emeryn to her Cambridge class before we had another Mother's Day celebration over lunch with Theng Ee Ee  family, Por Por and Ah Kong. We went for Thai cuisine at Sriwan. After our lunch, we met up with Uncle Leonard where he dropped Karise to us. We then went to Pulau Tikus for Emeryn's eye check. Emeryn was so excited knowing that she is now officially needing a glasses. She selected the similar model as Theng Ee Ee's glasses and it costs mummy RM330. After visiting the optometry, we headed over to Por Por's house along with Karise. This was her second time going to Por Por's place and the kids finally had a great time playing with Baby Will. Uncle Leonard came over at about 4.30pm to pick Karise home. We stayed for another hour before leaving. Upon reaching home, Emeryn went to the playground and played her skooter along with Karise before calling it a day.
