Girl's Sleepover

 before bed time

  @ Mc Cafe

@ the library

On 1st Jan 2015, we went swimming with Hui Ying & Ah Siang. Very unfortunate, Ah Siang was hit by another boy while sliding down the slides and he had a severe headache. That night he was hospitalized. The next day after mummy went off from work, we visited Ah Siang at LWE and thank goodness he looks as active as before. We then headed for dinner with Aunty Jenny and the rest. That evening, Hui Ying went home with us and it was the girl's sleepover. It wasn't a planned sleepover, just ad-hoc. That nite the girls watched movie, played games and had some chit-chatting before ending their night at about 11.15pm.

The next morning three of us went for breakfast before hitting the library. To our dismay it was closed since it was a public holiday, which mummy wasn't aware of it. We then drove to Mc Donalds and the girls played awhile before we sent Hui Ying back to her mummy at LWE. We then drove home and spent the rest of the day at home.

Post Photo Shoot @ Star East

@ KLCC

Mummy's office closed at 12.30pm on Christmas Eve and we had our photo shoot appointment at Star East @ Kelawei Road at 2pm. The whole session took about 1.5hours. As we are done with the photo shoot, we headed to FV to check on the painter's work progress. Disappointingly he wasn't even there to finish up his job. We then left FV and went over to QBM for the live musical. We had our dinner at Porridge Time before watching the live musical. After the musical ended, the audience were showered with artificial snow in conjunction of Christmas celebration. We then lined up to take photo on the stage.

The next day, Christmas Day we started our day super early as we are heading to KL along with mummy's friend. We started our journey at about 8.15am and our first destination was the newly opened IOI City Mall. We had lunch before the hunting starts. Mummy bought a clothes ironing shelf from Home Pro and a white beautiful mirror with shelf from Index Living Mall. By the time we checked into the hotel, it was already 6pm+. We had our dinner at Sogo, just a walking distance from our hotel.

On Boxing Day, we headed to Pavilion to walk around and later to KLCC for a late lunch. Mummy wasn't in a mood for shopping. Thus we left KLCC early and headed back to the hotel. We had our dinner at the Malay stall opposite our hotel. That basically concluded our Boxing Day.

The next day was the highlight of our trip. We headed to IKEA for some home furnishing items. We have to parked our car at The Curve as the parking at IKEA was super jam. We spent about 5hours at IKEA purchasing a shelf for Emeryn's room, basin cabinet, stainless steel rubbish bin and some smaller items. There are more that mummy wanted to buy but our car can't load it anymore. Due to the big packaging, we don't have choice but to leave IKEA to have our meal. Initially we thought we could have our meal at The Curve before leaving KL. We were made to have our meal along the high way on our way home. We finally reached home at about 10pm.

We arrived Penang on 15th, Mon morning at about 8.15am after holidaying at Korea. Uncle uncle picked us from airport and brought us for breakfast before sending us home. Upon reaching home, mummy start unpacking even though feeling exhausted. At about noon time, we went out to Holme where mummy bought some kitchen accessories. After collecting the accessories, mummy passed it to our kitchen contractor. Mummy then visited our new home to check on the progress. Wiring and plaster ceiling was completed. Yay!!! It was a long tiring day for both of us.

On Wed evening, we went for a X'mas dinner where mummy and her friends exchange gifts at Suffolk House.

While on Sun, Emeryn went for a swim with Joel & Joey at our new place. After the swim, we headed to sPice as there was a Penfurnex fair. Mummy went there to exchange the faulty downlights, paid deposit for wallpaper and bought 2 huge bean bags too.

Tick Tock Tick Tock >>> Frozen Trip

@ PG Airport

dinner @KLIA2

1st glimpse of snow

 @ Incheon Airport

@ Cheonjiyeon Falls

Emeryn and daddy went for a photo shooting on Wed afternoon at Star East. Mummy bought the voucher online. Mummy dropped Emeryn at Ah Ma's daycare before going to work and pick her up during her lunch break. Mummy brought Emeryn to a hair saloon and had her curled before the photo shooting.

On the 6th Dec morning, mummy had her monthly facial appointment and Emeryn tagged along as usual. After the facial session, we randomly dropped by a lighting shop at Tg Tokong where mummy bought 6pcs of eyeballs and lights for the balcony and yard. We then had a quick lunch at Mc Donalds, Green Lane on our way home. Mummy kept herself busied with all the last minutes arrangement for our new place before our trip to Korea. That afternoon mummy went over Sam's Lighting to collect the downlights and other lighting accessories before delivering it to FV. After the handover of lights and some discussion with the wireman, we proceeded to the pool. Mummy swam together with Emeryn at the adult's pool. We hurried home after the swim to get ready for a family dinner at down town along with Carmen Ee Ee and her family. After our dinner, we went to Twelve Cups for coffee and some catch up along with the old folks. As expected, Emeryn ordered her favorite crepe and requested them to decorate it with some X'mas decoration. We ended the nite at about 11.15pm and drove home.

The next morning, mummy continues occupying herself with our new home renovation arrangement until evening. Our flight to KL was on 8.10pm and mummy drove to Hotel EQ, where she parked her car there during our trip. Uncle uncle picked us from EQ and dropped us at the airport. We touched down at KLIA 2 at about 9.15pm and we headed for dinner right after. We spent 2hours there before checking in for our next flight. As soon as we boarded our flight to Incheon, mummy secured a whole row of empty seat for Emeryn, so that she could lie down and sleep. Mummy too got a whole row of empty seat for herself. We could at least have some proper sleep.

We touched down at Incheon at about 8.30am and cold breeze welcomed us as soon as we stepped into the airport. We were fascinated with the image of the airport covering by pure white snow and quickly snap a photo of it. After having all our winter clothing on and checked out from the Immigration, it was already 9.15am and sadly we missed out transit tour which mummy signed up online. We hang around the airport and grab a quick bite at the convenient store, reload our T-money and Emeryn happily ran outside the airport to enjoy the coldness. She was totally in awe. Later we walked to the food court and had a full Korean meal before taking the Airport Rail Road (AREX) to Gimpo Airport where we will transit to Jeju Island. We were running late for our flight as we underestimate the transfer time. We rushed. We ran with heavy luggage and luckily we managed to board the flight. It took 1hour and 10mins before we finally touched down at Jeju International Airport. We took an airport shuttle to our hostel, Kkodak Kkodak. The whole journey took us about 1.5hour. We were all physically tired and had to walk for another 15-20mins to reach Kkodak Kkodak.

After a quick refreshment, we headed out to our first destination via taxi. It was Cheonjiyeon Falls. It creates a splendid view of water falling from a steep cliff and the scenery was breathtaking. The skies fall dark very early and we couldn't manage our second destination as planned. We took a taxi back to the guesthouse and then walked around the area to look out for a place for dinner. We finally decided to have Korean pork bbq. It was a pure pleasure having BBQ under the cold weather. We headed back for an early rest after dinner.

Mad Scientist Camp

As the school holiday starts, mummy enrolled Emeryn into a 3days Mad Scientist Camp. The 3 days camp starts on Tues - Thurs. It was a half day session from 9am - 1pm. Mummy dropped Emeryn to the class before going to work whereas daddy and Ah Ma picked her in the afternoon. Emeryn spent her 3 days afternoon at Pekaka while mummy was at work. She then attended full day at her daycare on Mon and Fri.

Emeryn attended Art Class on Sat. While on Sun, mummy had a discussion with the interior designer at 11am. After the discussion, we went over to Por Por's house for lunch. We then went home for a short rest before going over our new home for a swim. This round, Hui Ying, Hui Siang and Edmund, mummy's ex colleague son joined us. After the swim, we spent some time at the playground before going home.

Manicure & Pedicure

for the new room

 manicure & pedicure

 quick refreshment

Finally the defects on our new place was completed and officially we are granted approval to start our renovation. That's where all hectic schedules come crashing in. Last Fri was the last schooling day for 2014. After school we went home for a shower before going out with mummy's friend for dinner. Before our dinner mummy went to the money changer to exchange Korean Won for our upcoming trip. We then headed to Prangin Mall for the infamous tom yam. This round we opted for steamboat instead of just having the tom yam noodle. We headed home after the dinner as it was raining heavily out there.

The next morning, we woke up early and headed to Roti Bakar for breakfast before draining our energy cleaning our new place. Mummy wanted to wash it one round before the renovation kicks off. It was a tough job cleaning the whole house, which is double the size of our current home. Mummy cleaned it clorox and washing powder. The whole washing session took 3.5hours before we rushed home for Emeryn's Art Class. Blisters are over over mummy's palms and she had body ache too due to the cleaning. No doubt, it is still worth all the sweats for our soon-to-be paradise. While Emeryn was at Art Class, mummy went for late lunch with Aunty Grace at Old Town, Egate to discuss about the Korea trip. We went home after the class and spent the tiring evening at home. Mummy ended her nite earlier as she was having bad nose allergy.

On Sun, we woke up early too as we had a medicure & pedicure session at 11am. Mummy bought the online voucher for only RM10 for an express medi and pedi. Mummy bought one for Emeryn as well since it was the school holiday and she loves such pampering moment. Emeryn requested for a nail art and mummy paid additional RM10 for it. After the session, we hopped over to the next shop, Mow Cow Yogurt for a short refreshment before heading home. Later we drove over to Por Por's house and had our lunch there before Emeryn attends the trial class at Mother Nature Science at 3.30pm. The trial class took 2 hours and mummy walked over to QBM for shopping. She bought fleece top for herself and Emeryn from Uniqlo to prepare for our winter trip.  Mummy also bought JCo donuts for the kids for their swimming session at FV. After the trial class, we went to FV where Beena Kor Kor, Chik Chik and their families join us at the pool. After the swim, the kids spent some time at the playground even tough it was really dark. We left at about 7.45pm and dropped by Aunty Jenny's house to return her cleaning equipment. We went into her house and chit chatted for about 30mins before going home. We bought dinner home to fulfill our hungry stomachs.
