A BIG Fan of Daddy's Notebook

Nothing attracts Emeryn more than her daddy's notebook...notebook is everything that could soothe each of Emeryn's cries and stop her from throwing tantrum..sometimes even her dear pacifier could not do the job stopping her from crying...but notebook does the miracle....she loves those bright colours on the screen and small blue lighting on the keypad.

You could see her smiling happily when we allow her to play with the notebook...she really enjoys it...it might be a sign telling us she wants to be an IT expert in the future... too bad that she only won a consolation prize...else if she wins the grand prize with RM10k jusco voucher, daddy and mummy is gonna buy her a real notebook... that's the promise to our lil' princess... things don't go as its plan...too bad.. too sad... :(

She'll have maximum satisfaction touching the keypad and start pressing on each alphabet... at times she'll put half of her body on the keypad and sometimes put all her weight on it... imagine that... duh~~between the next seconds, the whole programme hangs... and daddy will start grumbling and bring emeryn away from the notebook...of coz emeryn will start screaming again and pointing her fingers towards the notebook... that doesn't melt daddy's heart letting emeryn have fun on the notebook again....hahaha...that's the whole episode of the notebook's fan....

Spoilt & Pampered

No one could deny this... Emeryn is a spoil brat... Nowadays her temper is getting worst and worst.. she craves for attention and she loves to be in the center of attention.. she wants each and every one of us accompanying her all the time.. she hates to be left alone with her toys... not even mickey & minnie (mickey & minnie were bought for emeryn from HK Disneyland when she was only 5weeks inside me)...she can be laughing happily now and the next minute shouting and crying out loud... that's the special thing about Emeryn.. her mood swings faster than you could imagine...

Well, in another word, she's a baby loner...she can't even stay in a room alone for one minute.. she will start shouting and scream her lungs out when seeing no one around. she is hot tempered...mind you, don't ever disturb her else she won't make peace with you...hehehe...no joke...she's spoilt & pampered.. her every cry will be fulfilled... no one would turn her down..not even to any single demand of Emeryn.. she gets what she wants...mainly, she's the on top of all priority..

Too late to regret now as I'm the one who spoil her eventually...how could i not treat her like a princess when she's already one??? princess is meant to be spoilt... cheers to my darling princess...

Found 2 interesting sites from silamgirl this morning: MalaysiaMums & KindergartenMalaysia.com... cool sites with lots of baby contest and not forgetting those fruitful & juicy info about parenting... had registered myself into the sites too...don't want to miss the boat... hehehe..really envy lil' gary for winning so much baby contest..cheers to the hard effort of the mum...

Mummy has just submitted few Emeryn's photo for that available online contest..it's amazingly great seeing your child's photo on any website..well, not to emphasize so much on winning or the $$$ but it's fun trying your luck...who knows emeryn could be the next star or baby idol soon??? nah, just a silly example from a proud mummy....hahaha..no doubt emeryn is already the winner in my eyes..she's my baby and she's my everything...

Let's see if emeryn's photo could feature in any websites soon.... yeah, dreaming & hoping... Mummy wanted to submit my sweetheart's photo to as many contest as possible.. i seriously want to show her what mummy has done to her all this while when she is just a small tiny little innocent baby...i want her to feel proud and hope everything to be recorded, so that Emeryn will have a great memory of her childhood...

New Boss in the Office

Here's Emeryn in my office, sitting on my big big chair... looking cool??? the youngest ever staff here...the chair is just too big and comfy for her to work around... so sitting there and posing for camera instead...

Prize Giving Day ~ Consolation Prize...

I woke up at 6.15am.. and amazingly Emeryn was nicely dressed up and had her early breakfast.. thanks to Suti, my maid...we started our journey at 7.30am... We reached KL at about 10.30am and after a long search, finally we reached jusco at 11.30am.. We went for the registration and the event kicked off at 12.20pm...Emeryn was the number 18 contestant....

It started with some dance presentation by lil' kids... then calling each finalist up to the stage to introduce to the judges and audience... well, too bad.. emeryn was dozing away soundly on daddy's chest...perhaps she needs a good rest after a long journey... the MC asked few questions about Emeryn... what are her hobbies: shouting, screaming, jumping, dancing, swimming, loves notebook, playing and listening to mobile phone ring tones... that's my answer...

The MC announced to the floor that Emeryn has big eyes.. all of the sudden, Emeryn opened her eyes and looked at the beautiful MC..perhaps Emeryn could hear someone compliment about her... and then the MC added "wow, such a beautiful and big eyes together with long curly lashes." she asked me to turn Emeryn to the judges and showed them too... not long after that, Emeryn closed her eyes and continue her sleep again on daddy's broad chest..sweet dream, baby..
The event continued for category 2, 12-24mths babies and other dances...On the announcement of the prizes, it goes with the consolation first of course... hahaha... Emeryn's name was the first to announce... daddy brought Emeryn up to the stage to collect the prize.. it was a rm200 baby kiko hamper and enlargement of 11R photo.. later we went for lunch at about 2.45pm..

Daddy was a bit disappointed with the prize Emeryn got and asked Emeryn "why you only got consolation and not the grand prize?" of course Emeryn doesn't know what the heck her daddy is trying to say and don't give a damn at all... daddy was grumbling all the way home.. nevertheless, he is so much disappointed... not so much of Emeryn but the judges decision... daddy even said he wanted to complain for such an unfair result... funny him.... i couldn't hold my breath and laugh out loud...what a silly man???

We reached home at about 7.15pm...later when daddy has settled down, he told Emeryn "no matter what prize you brought home, you're still the winner in daddy's heart".. oh boy, it's so sweet to hear that... no doubt Emeryn is always the winner for all of us...she's a great baby...mummy hasn't given up hope...She is going to submit another entry to Billion's baby contest.. this round again, you look so cool without smiling.. and that will be the reason for not winning the Jusco contest.. all the wining babies were actually smiling happily on their photos...well, that's you and no point forcing, right?? you deserve everything you feel like to be...winning or not, don't really matter... we'll just give it another try...

Disney Princess Collection ~ Snow White Perfume

Here's the first ever gift daddy bought for his beloved lil' angel... He bought it as a souvenir from his Quangzhou's trip.... well, it's not from Quangzhou but it's from Pg Airport... haih...what a lame souvenir?? hope you're not too young for perfume... hehehe... mummy will surely keep the bottle for you and show you in the future.. you'll be amazed to know that you receive a perfume as a gift when you're only 9mths old lil' girl..

It's snow white perfume from disney princess collection... perhaps daddy wants you to be like a princess...you'll be as sweet as a flower and as beautiful as snow white... :)

know what??? Emeryn is daddy's angel... i'm sure you gonna be daddy's girl...spoilt and pampered by your daddy...yeah, daddy got mummy a perfume too... it's elizabeth arden red door velvet...

Poor Girl

Just came back from Hope Children and it costs me rm137.50...it's now 1.10am....since this evening, my lil' sweetheart has been vomiting up to 4 times...gosh, what has happen to you, sweetie??? u ate anything unhygienic? it pains my heart so badly when i knew you fell down this afternoon and knocked on your head....i'm so angry.. why don't they take good care of you???

i hope the vomiting got nothing to do with it....else i could really go mad and bark non-stop...i keep on blaming myself for not able to take care of you while speeding so fast thou it rains heavily out there... i just want you to be safe...mummy could sense that you're so weak by looking at your teary eyes.... my goodness.... i started sobbing out of nowhere...my poor baby, how mummy wish mummy could replace all your unwell feelings....and let mummy suffer on your behalf...

doc advised not to give emeryn any food or even water till the next morning...i could feel a slight relief when you start making some noise and show some interest in the hospital...thank god, nothing serious eventually...you fall asleep on the way back home... sweet dreams, sweetheart... i want you to get well soon so that we could have a great journey to kl for your prize presentation on sun..
being a mum is tough and ain't easy but the reward is indescribable... nothing heals a broken soul rather than seeing my little innocent one smiling back at me...it's priceless....it's stunningly amazing... believe me, motherhood is a great challenge and rewarding...with emeryn around, i've learn a lot from her...learning how to be a good mum, how to be a role model, how to fulfill your every wishes and how to struggle everyday just for you...with you around, the world seems to be a brighter place for mummy...

Messy Meal Time

Huh... emeryn is enjoying her porridge.... this little princess likes to play around during meal time and can't sit still and have a proper meal.... no doubt she is having a real good time spoon-feeding... looking at her photo, who could deny that??

Emeryn, how mummy wishes you could help yourself on every of your meals???.. mummy can't wait to see you grow up, to see you walking side by side with mummy and doing everything basically on your own...i'm sure emeryn will grow up to become a young fine lady very very soon....With her front lower 2 small teeth, she's able to enjoy her porridge so much and also other solid food.. she is expecting another 2 more teeth on upper gum anytime soon.... :)

17/03/07 Sunday Outing to Botanical Garden

 

 

It was Sunday, both me & Jim brought emeryn out for a walk at the garden. we hardly spend time with our lil' princess during weekday, thus bringing her out and enjoy the mother nature....putting her to her stroller and pushed her around.. without noticing, suddenly there's a big mosquito bite on her forehead... gosh, what an outing, emeryn??

Yeah, and not forgetting about those monkeys around... emeryn wasn't scare at all... perhaps she doesn't know it's dangerous.... hahaha... had a long walk around the park and feeling tired... maybe lack of exercise.... hahaha.. never mind, will sure make more trips again...

New Hair Cut

Emeryn has just got herself a new hair cut which is actually quite short... mummy doesn't really fancy it so much.. granny brought you to the hair saloon without mummy's knowledge... mummy was shocked upon seeing it but no way for me to complain.. it's way too late to complain either.... no complain but learn to accept it...
Emeryn barely know anything about haircut...so it doesn't bother her at all.. The reason she needs a haircut: Emeryn easily sweat.. she can't stay long under the sun... opss.. it's actually she can't stay long without air-cond... in order to make her look like a lil' princess, will need to put some nice hair pins...else she looks like lil' prince leh...Mummy was a bit disappointed as i could not tie her hair nicely during the next week Jusco baby prize presentation...gonna find some ways to make her prettier as she will be the star of the day.... :)
Perhaps Emeryn is a spoil brat... hahaha... She sleeps in an air-cond room since she was here and even until now... Emeryn is sleeping soundly on my bed... and i'm sleeping with her tonight as daddy is at Quangzhou... i'm typing with only a dimmed light... hopefully she will have a good nite sleep with her mummy tonight..

Emeryn Won the Jusco Photogenic Baby Competition

At 11.39am, i received a call from a private number. at the same time i was on another line talking to my client... thought of letting the call go off by itself but somehow i waited for my client to hang up and answered the call...the conversation started by a greeting from a lady, calling me Mdm Mah... walao eh... madam wor... as if i'm so old leh.... then she introduced herself and she was calling from Jaya Jusco..
And guess what she told me my princess Emeryn was selected as one of the winner to the grand final of the baby competition i brought her to.. oh my god, i just can't believe it... she has won... gosh... i can't stop smiling during the whole conversation.... my goodness, i still can't believe it...well, the result is already finalized but they will only announce it during the prize presentation... so, we will be bringing Emeryn over to kl on 15th apr.. yuhooo......
Emeryn, mummy is just so proud of you. you're such a beautiful princess and you deserve to be one of the winner...you're such a great baby...congratulation, girl...
i would like to express my special thanks to a foreigner (stranger la).. i submitted 2 entries for emeryn... one of them is using the receipt from the foreigner... and still remember he said "hope your baby will win the contest".. amazing... he could be the one who help us most in this contest.. thanks!!!
Yeah, day of celebration... i'm so so soooooo happy...

New Dresses

Just came home from buying milk powder for Emeryn. guess what??? we bought 4 big tins and it cost us rm190.. imagine that??? what an expenses??? what to do??? then I asked Jim to drop me at Anakku boutique. this has been one of my favorite hangout places when there's sale (it only happened after emeryn is here)...

Well, tonight i don't intend to hang out there too but i urgently need to buy a lotion for my sweetheart... she's running out of lotion... i love the smell on her lil' body covering with nice lotion..from day one Emeryn stepped to this world, she has been using lotion all over her body till now..reason: i wanted her to have smooth and silky complexion (which i envy so much). it was 9.05pm when i reached and normally it closes at 9pm...

I hurried to the lotion segment and grabbed two bottles. on my way to the cashier, i saw some 50% and 70% sign.. oh gosh... how could i control myself for not having a glance on it??? i swear if i don't make a stop at the promotional item, i would end up grumbling in the car later... as usual i couldn't resist such temptation.. by the way, i don't have a strong will..shame on me....amazingly i could hold myself from not buying at baby guess last weekend...it's way too expensive... sigh....

Some of the promotional items there, emeryn already has it on her wardrobe. two nice dresses caught my attention..without hesitation, i grabbed the smallest size. there are lots more to go but the sales girl is standing next to me, dropping some hints... hey, miss... we are closing soon...well, she did not mention that sentence...but of course i do understand.... each of the dress cost me around rm8. crazily cheap, isn't it??

I shopped a lot for emeryn nowadays.. she has too many dresses in her wardrobe and even some she has not manage to wear yet. but this doesn't seem to stop me from being a shopaholic...i love shopping for emeryn so much....i got to admit this.. i love seeing her in nice dress and look like precious lil' princess. guess i still need to wait for at least another 2 months for emeryn to fit the dresses i bought...perhaps can let her wear during our HK & Macau trip on may..

Emeryn, mummy hope you like it and look pretty in those dresses. One of it is bare back and another one with a special V-cutting at the end of the dress..both were from Disney... bet you'll look sexy in it...

Swim Emeryn Swim

Mummy introduced Emeryn to swimming when she was just 8months old and i hope it's not too early for such a tender age.

We went to EQ swimming pool just after work. I bought her a 2 piece swim suit and a lifebuoy for Emeryn during the weekend. Gosh, she looks so adorable in her swim suit and look like a professional under age swimmer.. :)

Before dipping her into the water, i took a few moments to capture some pics of her.. Whew whit... Sexy Emeryn on the bench..she looks so gorgeous...Slowly i placed the life boay on her and bring her into the pool. She looked tense and kind of scare... Perhaps it's her first time dipping half of her body into cold water...take it slow, man...

All the way, she looked tense and never gives a smile no matter how we teased her. Perhaps she is really scared of the water, the surrounding or the strangers who starred at her.. No worries, more swimming session to go and mummy bet you will grow to love it sooner or later.

Good job, Emeryn... well done....

Happy Birthday, Emeryn (080706)

 

Still i could recall the historical date of 08/07/06. It was the day when Emeryn was brought to this world to celebrate the loves between her mum and dad.

at about 12am, i was awake by a sudden light leakage. oh gosh, could it be the time i'm gonna give birth? i'm all alone back then as jim was out with friends and steadily i make my way to the washroom and had a shower. i knew i gotta shower if i'm gonna deliver later else i couldn't shower during the one month confinement period...(aww..talking about confinement, it could kill me)

I told myself to stay calm and make a phone call to get Jim to come home. i'm well prepared for the delivery but wasn't expecting it could be so soon. my due date was on the 20th... at 4am, i was admitted to lam wah ee hosp and told that my water bag ain't broke. urghh... shameful me...but good news was my birth canal was dilated and it was at 3cm when i was admitted. Well, i was put in the delivery room whereby the nurses monitor my lil` fragile baby's heart beat.

Everything went on smoothly and i get Jim back home to have a rest. impatiently i keep counting down... when will dr shankar be here to attend me?? am i going to deliver now?? if not now, when??? will i suffer great labor pain?? lots of different silly questions keep flashing in and out in the mind of the first time mum. from 3cm to 4cm, 5cm and ended at 6cm when it was around 10am... wow, amazing !!! i wasn't suffering from any slight pain thou it was dilated at 6cm.. thanks to those swimming session i had... i was given an induction which helps fasten the delivery.

I remembered sms-ing my friends informing them i'm gonna deliver anytime soon and even have mood to sing along with the pipe-in music in the hospital... funny??? later about10.30am, Jim arrived with his precious notebook.. we were talking as usual and he was surfing net in the delivery room. the nurse insisted to add the speed to the induction.. i could feel a slight pain after not long but yet i could still bear the little pain..

I remembered at the peak of the pain, i told the nurse i need an injection to make me feel better... the nurse agreed and promised to come back in a second.. before she has the chance to leave the room, i started grumbling and moaning in pain, tossing around, feeling very very uneasy... oh boy!!! emeryn could no longer wait.. she is rushing to come to this new world... everything was prepared by the nurses and last but not least, here come dr shankar... i started to have tremendous pain but i try to control myself... by the way, i did it quite good thou...

And here goes the @#@!@##%~&()^$#!&+_(^$#!%%$&)#(_&%`~=... on my fourth hard push, emeryn was finally delivered at around 12.18pm.. i could hear emeryn crying.. without realizing, tears running down my lips... uhhhhh... finally... yes, finally i won the battle...I'm officially now a mum, a mother to Emeryn...
