Labour Day falls on Mon and needless to say we both were off, from work and from school. We do not have much food left in the fridge, so mummy decided to cook spagetthi cabornara with the un-opened can of sauce left at home. Uncle Leonard came over to have lunch with us before we went down to the reading room for a quick revision in preparation of the mid year school exam. The whole week was filled revision and revision.

Emeryn was so happy receiving her BM Penulisan result from the tuition centre, 86%. Emeryn was superbly happy too getting her Pendidikan Moral result 83%. She was extremely happy because she did her own revision without mummy's guidance. Emeryn attended her Cambridge Class on Sun morning as usual. Later in the afternoon, Uncle Leonard sent Karise to Por Por's house to play with Emeryn & Baby Will. It was her first time there. Later on our way home, we dropped by at McD Karpal Singh for the kids to play. They both went down to the playground to play in the evening.

Mummy was away for a short break to Ho Chi Minh from Apr 19-23rd. Mummy sent Emeryn to school on Wed morning before flying off at 12pm. Mummy's initial plan was to leave Emeryn at Pekaka. Unfortunately on the first night itself, Emeryn called mummy at least 2 times at night saying that she can't sleep and wanted mummy to come home that night itself. She cried so badly and kept on uttering I miss you, mummy. Somehow she has no choice but to fall asleep after crying. The next day, Por Por and Ah Kong drove all the way to Pekaka to pick her back to their home as Emeryn decided to stay with them. The next morning, Ah Kong sent her to school. In the evening, Ah Kong and Por Por picked her again from Pekaka. Ah Kong sent her to school on Sat morning for her extra co-curriculum and later they dropped her to her BM tuition at Bayan Baru. In the evening, Beena Kor Kor went over to Por Por's house to send her to St Giles Wembley Hotel for the Star Wars show. Mummy won 2 free tickets to One-Man Star Wars Trilogy and Emeryn went along with Joel. After the show, Beena Kor Kor dropped Emeryn at Theng Ee Ee's house where she spent a nite there. Upon returning to Penang, mummy headed over to her Cambridge Parents-Teacher Meet before going to Por Por's house to bring Emeryn home.

It was a public holiday on Mon in view of the King's Installation; giving mummy an extra day to rest after her holiday. Uncle Leonard drove mummy, Emeryn and Karise to Queensbay after our lunch. We don't have any specific activity to do there except for Emeryn kept asking mummy to bring her to Smiggle. Toki Ee Ee gave her RM100 as she requested Ee Ee to buy her something from Smiggle. The kid's first stop was at Toys R Us for some window shopping before we headed to Jusco kids entertainment where they were allowed to play several set of games there.  We then headed over to Smiggle, the main objective of the day. After walking around, calculating the cost, thinking and more thinking, Emeryn finally decided on a water tumbler and a watch at Smiggle. Mummy has to topped up some money as her RM100 is not sufficient for both the items. We walked around for a short while before satisfying our hunger at the Queens Market before going home.   

On Fri, mummy went to Karise's school to pick her up before picking Emeryn from her daycare. We then went over to Uncle Leonard's house where he cooked dinner for us. That evening we had bak kut teh.

On Sat morning, we went out for breakfast with Uncle Leonard & Karise. While during noon, mummy went for her monthly gathering along with Emeryn at D'Fat Mona Lisa. After the lunch gathering, we dropped by at the Batu Lanchang market as mummy wanted to buy some ingredients for our dinner preparation. Later Emeryn attended her BM tuition as usual. After her tuition, once again Uncle Leonard cooked us dinner. This round we had winter melon soup, recipe courtesy by mummy. 

We visited Por Por on Sun as usual and had our late lunch there. We returned home at about 5pm where Emeryn went for a swim with Karise.

Lately, Emeryn complained there was a rather disturbing "bad guy" at her school compound whenever she waited for her school bus. Mummy got a bit worried and went to her school during her lunch time to check it out on Mon. But unfortunately the bad guy doesn't show up. So mummy sent Emeryn to daycare before going back to work. While in the car, she did her homework. How hardworking she is, huh? That evening, we had home cooked noodle for dinner. Emeryn enjoyed helping mummy in the kitchen. Mummy wanted to train Emeryn into a full functioning adult before she turns 16yo. Keeping her finger crossed!!!

On one of the days, mummy stumbled upon a note saved in Emeryn's handphone. Upon reading it, mummy suddenly felt saddened by it. On Thurs evening, we had dinner at Little Hanoi along with Theng Ee Ee, Toki Ee Ee, Uncle Lin Chun, Ah Kong, Por Por & Baby Will before Toki Ee Ee & uncle Lin Chun go back to Singapore. Emeryn was down with fever, so we went home as soon as the dinner was over.

Luckily her fever subsided on Fri as mummy took leave earlier since it was a non schooling day, Good Friday. We went to 1st Avenue and had lunch at Sushi King before proceeded for a movie. We watched The Smurf. As for dinner, we just bought home instead of eating out again. Mummy cooked a simple lunch on Sat before sending Emeryn to her BM tuition.

Emeryn attended her Cambridge class on Sun morning as usual. After the class, we bought home lunch. After knowing that Ah Kong & Por Por are bringing Baby Will for an outing, Emeryn quickly got herself readied and we headed to town. Mummy drove to Ah Chor's house to pick them and then dropped them at Pacific Komtar. Mummy then drove to the library to return the books that Emeryn borrowed 2 weeks ago. Later mummy joined them at The Top, a new entertainment place at Komtar before all of us went for grocery shopping. On our way home to Por Por's house, we bought some food to savor. After spending some time at Por Por's house, we left. Upon reaching home, Uncle Leonard & Karise joined us to the beach at Teluk Kumbar. Emeryn has been asking Karise out to the beach. Uncle Leonard drove mummy's car and off we went for a beach outing. The kids enjoyed themselves a lot till late in the evening. On our way back home, we bought some food for our dinner.

On Sat morning we both woke up early as Emeryn was having her "Merentas Desa" activity at school. Her activity ended at 10.30am and we quickly went home for a quick shower and lunch before driving out for her Science tuition, replacement class at 2pm. While Emeryn was at her tuition, mummy went for a quick lunch with Uncle Leonard. By 3.30pm once again mummy readied to send Emeryn to her BM tuition as usual from 3.45pm to 6.15pm. Finally mummy can find time to go home for a rest before picking Emeryn up again. After the tuition, we headed to Eastern Wishes restaurant for Por Por's birthday dinner. It was Por Por's 47th Birthday. That night Emeryn stayed over at Por Por's house as mummy went out for a movie with Uncle Leonard. After the dinner, Toki Ee Ee, Theng Ee, Por Por & Ah Kong and the rest went to Queensbay Mall and they had Haagen Daaz before calling it a day.

The next morning, mummy drove to Theng Ee Ee's house to pick Emeryn to her Cambridge class. After Cambridge, we headed over to Queensbay Mall for another birthday lunch celebration for Por Por. This round we went to Dragon i. After the scrumptious lunch, we had a walk together at Queensbay before satisfied our sweet tooth at Baskin Robin. We left QBM not long after that and headed home. As soon as we reached home, we hopped over to Uncle Leonard's car and together with Karise we drove to Queensbay again. This round we went for a movie together, Beauty & The Beast. After the movie, we went for a late dinner before heading home.

Last Sat, mummy woke up really late at about 11.50am. She steamed the dim sum for Emeryn for breakfast before getting ready to prepare lunch. Due to time constraint, mummy only managed to cook white radish soup and curry chicken. Later in the afternoon, mummy dropped Emeryn to tuition. Uncle Leonard tagged along with us and mummy went to QBM with him. Emeryn was requesting for a Epop magazine from Popular, but unfortunately it was the March edition which was not sold on April. After tuition, we tried to search for it at some convenient store but failed. We went home and had the same meal for our dinner. Later in the evening mummy made us dessert, the herbal jelly. We continued with Emeryn's Cambridge revision as she was having her final Project 4 examination.

Emeryn attended her Cambridge class on Sun morning as usual. Right after the class we headed over to Por Por's house for a real quick lunch before meeting Uncle Leonard & Karise. Uncle Leonard left Karise for us and she tagged along with us to the Kid's Library. The kids don't quite enjoy the library facilities, thus we left in about 30-40mins. On an ad-hoc basis, we decided to go to Gurney Paragon since it was still early. The first stop, we went to Urban Playz where the kids had so much fun under the hot sun riding the go-kart. After sweating it out, we walked to the center atrium where there was the Astro Circle road show. Both Emeryn & Karise join in the fun and played awhile before our ice cream stop. 

Karise opted for Baskin Robin whereas Emeryn opted for Magnum, just like mummy. The kids refused to go home after having their ice creams and insisted on the last activity before leaving. On our way home, we stopped by at Batu Lanchang market and bought ice kacang and chendol. After having dinner separately, Uncle Leonard brought Karise over to our place and the kids watched a movie together.
