New Hair Cut & Mother's Day Celebration @ Gurney

Granny suggested that emeryn's hair need a hair cut now as she refused to have her hair tie up at school... Thus, mummy brought emeryn to the hair salon and has it trim... This would be emeryn's 2nd time to the hair salon...She was obviously very co-operative and sat down happily looking at herself in the mirror... She smiled sweetly and winked at mummy.. At certain point of time, she kept on moving her head to look around and the hair stylist was having some minor problem concentrating... Hehe..Phew!!! At last, it's done... Emeryn looks like such a cutie pie with her new hair cut...

We had our Mother's Day celebration a week earlier as mummy will be traveling to Hanoi on its original day... We celebrated for granny at Kim Gary @ Gurney Plaza for ee ee's convenient as she was working part time there...It was Mother's Day celebration for granny but not mummy :( While waiting for the seats to be ready, emeryn walked into a teddy bear shop where she lovingly hug most of them. Oh boy, she just let them too much...

After our lunch at Kim Gary, we brought emeryn to the kids play zone... Granny and grandpa were looking after emeryn while mummy went to MPH to browse for some stuff... Ended up mummy got a set of puzzle for emeryn... It wasn't a typical jigsaw puzzle but an educational puzzle which consists of the opposite word.. Co-incidentally it was also the "Mother's Talent Quest Final" on the same day... So the complex was distributing roses to all the passer-by and emeryn received two of them. Haha..We went home at about 4pm..

Mummy sent emeryn to nursery on last Mon and this time she is officially enroll...Mummy took half day leave on Mon, Tues & Wed to accompany her... Her first and second day at school was still quite ok since mummy was around all the time..Emeryn cried so terribly when mummy went hiding in pretext mummy has left... She kept asking for mummy non stop. It was a real heart wrenching situation letting emeryn be alone with all strangers for the first time in her life... She was in tears when mummy is not around.. Her first day was also a birthday celebration of her classmate...They had cake during the break time and emeryn fed all by herself seeing all the friends feeding on their own... Mummy was amazed seeing such capabilty in emeryn...

At certain point of time, emeryn became so cranky when her friends pushed her away from getting into the toy car during the outdoor activities... She was crying so badly once again if any of the friends accidentally push, step or knock on her...Well, she just needs more attention. Who could blame a toddler from misbehave on her 1st day at school??? It was also a heart-breaking time for mummy to leave emeryn there..If i don't do it now, soon or later i have to do it too... So why not now???

Mummy left the school to run some errand on Wed leaving kakak stationed there to look after emeryn... Emeryn doesn't know kakak was around and again she cried when we left.. Oh dear, it was really sad...Emeryn cried for an hour before the teacher asked kakak to come in to have a look on emeryn.. Kakak left shortly and again emeryn was all by herself..Mummy picked her from school only to realised she has stop crying... Emeryn was all alone on Fri and it was time to learn to be independent... Unfortunately emeryn fell off twice on Fri morning before going to school...She fell off while walking out from the toilet after taking her potty.. And she second time, she tipped off while walking to the car park, wearing her new shoe even mummy was holding her hands... Her knee bleed and she cried traumatically... Pity her!!!

Let's hope emeryn will get used to nursery life very very soon...

We did not make it to anywhere during last weekend as mummy got to work on Sun for a career fair held as Pisa... Emeryn will enroll to kindy starting on May. Next week she will be going for her trial...

Parent-Toddler class

Last week, Tokkie ee told mummy that great granny is very sick and she started imagining and saying some not so good stuff... Mummy was shocked and numb folded upon hearing it and rushed to visit great granny after dinner... Crazy thoughts started crashing in mummy’s head after hearing the news.. Is she ok??? Can she walk??? Can she recognize us??? and etc… Along with us, mummy brought 2 boxes of chicken essence as great granny is very weak at that point of time...We (daddy, mummy & emeryn) reached her place at about 7pm... I realized that I have not visited granny for long and took her for granted most of the time.. How could I ever appreciate her if she leaves us soon??? I felt bad..Really bad for not being a good grand daughter...Sigh :(

Mummy was a lil’ relieved seeing great granny... Phew!!! Her condition is not as bad as described and she still looks okay but perhaps a lil’ tiring and with heavy eyes and getting older...Mummy chatted with her and we took some photo with great granny before leaving..Great granny took of her spec off and combs her hair nicely, ready for her pic to be snapped but emeryn refused to stand near to her... Aww.. that’s not sweet of her at all... :( Mummy joined in. We left after an hour...Let’s pray for great granny’s health and long live great granny!!! Hope she stays healthy and strong always, our beloved granny & great granny...

As for weekend, emeryn went to the parent-toddler class as usual... She is still not too keen on her art work and hardly pay attention on the singing and dancing session..She still enjoys playing with the kids there instead of giving her full attention to the class... Before the class, mummy sends her car for inspection and we went for breakfast too with daddy.. The aunty at the perodua workshop compliment emeryn for having big eyes and being very sweet... Emeryn keeps on calling them “aunty” non-stop...

Whilst on Sun, aunty Mei, Jane & Meiling came over for a small pot-luck session along with Florence...Emeryn was very excited upon seeing Flo.. She offered her baby cot, her mickey & Minnie mouse and other toys to Flo...Emeryn was very busy trying to “look after” baby Flo.. She loves baby a lot, really a lot...We had KFC & snake-bite cocktail (from Mei), sushi & cupcakes (from Jane), tuna sandwiches (from MeiLing) & pizza, mini cornetto, sundae (from Mummy).. It was a great & peaceful get together after all those loud music and partying...

Emeryn went to Parent-Toddler class on Sat as usual...Few days ago, emeryn get herself a chicken-pox vaccination as mummy will enroll emeryn to nursery on next month, May...On Sun, we drove down to KL as daddy needs to be at Putrajaya again for the second time on Mon.. We went a day earlier prior to his matter...We checked in to Tune Hotel at 2pm after having our lunch at Uncle John’s Kopitiam... Tune Hotel was clearly very clean and beyond mummy’s expectation and only cost RM70... 2 thumbs up!!!

We get a fast refreshment before heading our way to KLCC by taxi... Well, it was basically window shopping as we did not get anything from there...Aunty Karen met us a McDonald for a short while. It’s good seeing her again after so long.. The last time Aunty Karen met emeryn when she was just 4.5mths old... And now emeryn is reaching 2years old soon... Aunty Karen bought emeryn a huge piggy bank as well...

We went to Petaling Street after that and mummy bought 2 pairs of pajamas and a pair of pants for emeryn... It was just a quick one as emeryn fell asleep on mummy’s arm...Obviously she was tired. We had our dinner there before heading back to the hotel and it was about 7.15pm when we reached... After having our showers, we walked to Sogo and this time emeryn quietly sat on her pram...Amazing, huh??? Else she would struggle and insist on walking by her own... Emeryn got so excited when she saw several toddlers on their prams on the kids level...She came down from her pram and walked over them... She played, kissed and hugged them.. Aww.. so loving... She just loves baby so much..Mummy knows she will love her baby sister/brother in the future...

We walked back to the hotel at about 10pm and put emeryn to bed soon after finishing her milk...Daddy & mummy went to Bkt Bintang at 11pm while leaving emeryn and kakak in the hotel room... Ended up, daddy bought Hard Rock tees for us... We have one each (daddy, mummy & emeryn)... Daddy & mummy walked from Bkt Bintang back to the hotel and it took us an hour walking back.. We had a late supper at the mamak nearby before heading back to the room...

The next morning we drove to Putrajaya and waited for daddy to submit his document before heading to KLCC again... We had our lunch and went back to Putrajaya again...We left Putrajaya at about 12.30pm and drove home...

Speaking Doggie

Last Sat mummy was away to Mid Valley for a career fair... Mummy bought a speaking doggie for emeryn @ RM103 (after 20% disc) at ToyCity...The doggie caught mummy’s first attention when mummy stepped in to the shop... Though it’s rather expensive but I’m sure my lil’ precious will be very happy seeing it.. The nite before mummy’s traveling, Emeryn fell from the staircase and immediately her forehead was swollen so huge that it shocked me...It pain my heart seeing her in pain and mummy got to leave emeryn at granny’s place as mummy needs to leave the house at 5.45am the next morning...Mummy was having mixed feeling the night through and the image of emeryn kept on flashing in and out.. Poor emeryn!!!

Mummy called home and spoke to emeryn on Sat morning. Here’s the conversation between us:

Mummy: Hi Emeryn. How are you???

Emeryn: Mummy !!! Mummy !!!

Mummy: Is your forehead still painful??

Emeryn: Bo (means No)

Mummy: Have you taken your breakfast?

Emeryn: Nen Nen (means milk)

Mummy: Do you want to go to school later?

Emeryn : Ai (means Yes)

Mummy: You go and ask Daddy to wake up and then fetch emeryn to school, okay?

Emeryn: Okay…

Mummy: Ok, mummy is going to work now. Say I love you to mummy.

Emeryn: I love you..

Mummy: Bye bye..

Emeryn: Bye bye...

Mummy is so happy that emeryn could converse in the phone and could response... It’s such a sweet conversation and mummy was smiling happily recalling the conversation...Emeryn waited for mummy at the arrival hall in the airport and waved happily to mummy upon seeing mummy walking out towards her... Mummy handed over the doggie to emeryn and obviously she is so happy... :)

The speaking doggie could act and say the below:

• Sit down
• Stand up
• Dance
• Sing a song
• I love you
• Come on
• Let’s shake hand

The doggie speaks and acts according to voice detection... Sometimes when emeryn says “sing a song”, it does “let’s shake hand” because the doggie can’t detect the proper pronunciation from emeryn...While the doggie acts differently, emeryn assumed the doggie understand her speech and she laughed.. Little that she knows, the doggie acted wrongly and not according to what she pronounces... Haha..

On Sun, we went to Gurney Plaza for a window shopping while waiting for the time to meet Granny, Grandpa and Ee Ee for dinner at New World... Emeryn insisted to sit on the kiddy cabby.. She hopped in without saying a word and daddy has no choice but to pay RM20 for the deposit...Emeryn only sat on it for 15min and decided to walk around. What a waste as we have paid for an hour for it??? Too bad, we returned it...It was a celebration for Granny's bday.. We went to the Shanghai, House of Dumpling...

My Lil' Bee Has Finally Grew Up

Mummy intended to submit emeryn's photo for "I am a Bee" contest in Parenthood... The cutest bee photo emeryn had been almost a year ago. Phew!!! It was like once upon a time... Thus mummy make emeryn wear her bee suit again and try to snap some photo but to no avail. Here are some of the result from mummy...Emeryn was having a hard time standing still and posing for camera...Sigh :(

By wearing the bee suit, mummy realized that the lil' girl has grown up so fast. Lil' that i know, the suit length has reached her knee instead of her ankle a year back.. Emeryn is no longer the 3.0kg lil' fragile baby whom i carried home on 10th July 2006 from the hospital... She is now officially 12.5kg.. Amazing...I love my grown up girl :)
