Last weekend would be the 1st weekend mummy is getting some help while bringing emeryn out. On Sat, mummy & daddy brought emeryn to Queensbay for a window shopping. This time mummy brought along her stroller and cart emeryn around. Now emeryn would love us to carry her around. Since her weight is gaining day by day, mummy’s hands get very painful each time carrying such a heavy girl. So the stroller would be a great help to mummy. At the end of the day, daddy brought emeryn a sundae cone from McD. After finishing it, emeryn gave daddy a kiss on his cheek. How sweet? Emeryn is such a smart girl. She only compliment daddy with a kiss if daddy pampers her like a lil’ princess. Apart from that, she would keep a distance from daddy.

Whilst on Sun, we went to granny’s place at noon time. Ee ee was back from Singapore and bought emeryn a Koala bear backpack during her trip to Australia. Earlier we planned to go to the beach but later changed our minds and decided to head to Botanical Garden instead.

We walked around the playground before heading to the pool and Emeryn got herself wet. Again emeryn was having great time in the pool and refused to go home. Mummy has no choice but to drag her out from the pool. Emeryn was obviously tired and slept right after taking her shower at home.

Earlier on, mummy invited our neighbour’s son over for a play time with emeryn at our place. If I did not mishear his mum, his name should be Kelvin. Let’s call him Kelvin at the time being. Emeryn was tailing Kelvin all around while he is riding emeryn’s toy car. Later on, both of them turned naughty and refused to share the toy. They both were fighting and pushing each other. What a scenario? This would be mummy’s first time seeing such incident in emeryn. Seeing it, giving me a world of disaster for having another baby, huh. OR the least, not anytime soon.

Daddy surprised us with his early coming back... He touched down at Penang Airport on 27^th Jan, 12.40pm... Mummy went to pick daddy up alone as emeryn was taking her nap... Well, daddy still looks the same... Same size, same complexion, same hair style but has a much fairer skin and also speaks English more. Hehe. :)

Emeryn was having her milk while daddy reached home... But emeryn doesn’t look comfortable having daddy there...Daddy was like a total stranger to emeryn... Emeryn doesn’t go near to daddy and dare not talk to daddy...She only murmured the word “PaPa” twice.. Obviously she can’t refresh her memory well... Mummy assumes she would be happy to see daddy as she was missing him a lot before he comes home... Freaking disappointed!!! Well, emeryn might need more time to adapt to daddy all over again since he left to Birmingham 4.5months ago...

Daddy showed emeryn some photo we took together before daddy left to UK... Emeryn keep looking at the photo and turned her thought to daddy’s face alternately to compare... She might be thinking “Are sure you’re my daddy?” She can’t figure out too...She can only recognized the man in the photo as daddy but not in reality... Daddy was having tough time to attract his lil’ sweetheart’s attention.. Emeryn still look stiff and numb even after awhile... Oh boy, what can we do??? Daddy brought emeryn to the room and played with her, trying to bring back the good old times and bringing the gap nearer...The whole day emeryn sticked to mummy like uhu glue... She dare not keep her distance from mummy... :(

Mummy & daddy went home to unpack leaving emeryn at granny’s place... Later in the evening, we went for a ride in the car before heading for our late dinner...Mummy was driving but emeryn was crying badly as she wanted to get near to mummy...She still feels uncomfortable with daddy... Poor baby!!! Daddy then drove the car and mummy consoled emeryn... We had our dinner in town area and emeryn too was having the food over there... Later mummy drove home while daddy carried emeryn on the passenger seat...Emeryn was tired and resting on daddy’s shoulder...

That nite we slept together on the same bed and again emeryn was having difficulties on the bed as she loves to toss and roll over on the bed before she could fell asleep... She can’t do that as the bed was rather small for us... Out of tiredness, she slept very soon...Mummy then went out from the room and continue unpack leaving both father & daughter in their dreamlands... Good nighty to both my darling..

Swimming @ Aunty Mei's Place

Another weekend flew between a blink of eyes and CNY is forthcoming... It’s time for giving ang-pow (for mummy) and getting ang-pow (for emeryn)... This would be Emeryn’s 2^nd year celebrating CNY and a lot of new dresses are waiting for emeryn...

On Sat, mummy brought emeryn to the market... We bought some CNY decorative stuff for this coming CNY.. Wow, lot of rat cartoon designs available!!! Mummy choose 3 of them but hell, I can’t read Chinese... So what the heck, just choose those which caught my eyes..What a disgrace??? Emeryn had her late afternoon nap and woke up at about 7pm... We went to the pasar malam for a walk since emeryn won’t be able to sleep early that nite...

We went to grandma’s place earlier about 2pm as we are heading for a swim later... Too bad grandpa was out for work and requested us to wait till he comes home...We can’t wait any longer as it’s getting late.. Well, since aunty Mei has come back from Sabah, mummy is meeting her quite frequent... I seriously can’t hold my laughter mentioning “Aunty Mei”... Gosh, back then she insisted on “che che’ before having her lil’ precious. We went over to her apartment (Putra Place) for a swim last Sun...Mummy was bringing a lot of Emeryn’s stuff and was stopped by the security guard while entering the entrance... It’s so obvious that we are not the resident there.. Opsiee, so there we went to register.

The swimming pool was huge and has a nice slide and a small water fountain... Aunty Mei is not allowed to swim yet and she brought Florence to peek a look on us in the pool... She must be envy and must be thinking “when can I join them in the pool?” Emeryn met some kid in the pool and walked over them (as usual, my lil’ sociable baby)...Another big boy was attracted to emeryn and keep on holding her hands... Before we left to the changing room, the big boy was saying “don’t go baby”. Haha. :)

After changing we dropped by at Aunty Mei’s house and visit Flo before leaving... She was sleeping soundly while emeryn wanted to go near again... We left shortly.. Emeryn fall while walking towards the car but luckily her jeans keeps her unharm.She was crying all the way home as she was feeling very sleepy and tired too...

Last weekend emeryn stayed at Pekaka as mummy was traveling to KL for sales convention and annual dinner... Thus, there’s no outing for emeryn...Mummy bought a pair of white lacy socks for emeryn to be worn on CNY...

At last we fixed a new car for Emeryn and emeryn exciting driving all over the house...It was her 1^st Birthday present. :) Last week and even now, emeryn was down with eczema on her leg, forehead, hands and neck. Poor baby!!! Lately emeryn turned out to be very naughty... Each time after feeding, she will spill her milk on the bed sheet..When mummy is in the shower, she would use a chair and climb onto the dressing table and mess around...She even poured the body powder out from its container making the whole dressing table, window and floor dirty... Mummy has no choice but to beat and scold her. Eventually mummy beats her up so badly that her body turns red. But amazingly, she did not cry nor make any fuss...Guess she is so use to the beating and scolding from mummy... Most of the time she would stand still when mummy scolds and beats her...She then will kiss and hug mummy in terms of apologizing for her mistakes...

Yesterday we went to visit Aunty Mei & Baby Florence... Aunty Mei has just come back for good from Sabah bringing her newborn 1mth old baby Flo...Emeryn was so excited upon seeing baby Flo and wanted to touch her lil’ fragile face.. Emeryn likes going near to Flo and try touching her...Before going to aunty mei’s place, mummy told emeryn to be gentle towards baby and she even showed mummy how she will touch the baby...Mummy got to be very watchful towards emeryn as she would hurt Flo unintentionally... Emeryn walked around non-stop and checking out each and every single thing in the room.. Such an active baby i have, huh??? We gave Flo a small Garfield bolster and a lil’ soft toy piggy as a gift to her...Hope Flo will like it. :) Aunty MeiLing & Aunty Jane were around as well...

Cheers~ Emeryn gonna have a new friend, Flo and she is going to be “che-che” to Flo.

Weekend @ Botanical Garden (Again???)

We were putting up at granny’s place at pekaka on Fri nite as granny & grandpa were out of town. On Thurs, emeryn tagged along with mummy to a dinner and she was well behaved. She did not make any chaos like what she did once upon a time. She behaves well as time passed.

On Sun, we went to the Jelutong market in the morning and daddy called us again. This round emeryn did not talk to daddy as she was putting her interest to a doggie. Later on, again mummy brought emeryn to the Botanical Garden as mummy could not figure out where else to go. At first emeryn was actively playing at the playground with a lot of kids around. She seems to enjoy herself a lot and she even tried playing the slide on her own. She was scared and numb for the 1^st time but later on, she loves it.

Then we proceeded to the water park but we did not bring along emeryn’s swim suit. So emeryn wore her skirt and get wet on it. Haha. Few kids came near to emeryn as they were engrossed to emeryn’s toys. They played together and emeryn even took their toys as well. Funnily, one of the che-che misheard emeryn’s name and call her as “Mary”. Wow, what a name, huh?

We had our short break at the cafeteria before heading to granny’s place. Mummy brought some fish ball and a pack of Milo. Emeryn loves the milo so much that she nearly finished the whole pack all by herself. We went to granny’s place and left for a haircut at about 6.15pm. After that, we went home and emeryn was obviously tired. She went to bed at 8.45pm.

18months Update

Phew, at last Emeryn is now 1 and a half year old. She has grown up so much that sometimes mummy tends to forget her lil’ changes. She could feed herself without any help right now and seems to communicate more using her own blabby baby talk. She could show or point on the things she wants. She could run very fast now and at times mummy having problem chasing her around.

Emeryn went for her 1^st proper haircut yesterday in the hair salon. Normally mummy will helped to trim her hair. This round emeryn get her back and front hair trimmed and yet we could tie a pony tail on it still. She was moving her head left and right while the hair stylist trimmed her back hair and was sitting still while her front were trimmed. Mummy considers Emeryn very cooperative for her 1^st haircut and it’s only RM5. The hair stylist then gave emeryn 2 candies as a reward for being such a good girl. It was emeryn 1^st time having candy as well.

This month also marked the 1^st month emeryn using the proper way for tooth brush and tooth paste. As for her 1^st experience, emeryn swallowed the tooth paste not knowing the proper way (as mummy has expected). Moving on, mummy refused giving her the tooth paste anymore. Right now emeryn is trained to brush her teeth every morning and at nite time.

Well, not much different on her 18^th mth. Emeryn is still mummy’s precious lil’ princess and she would forever be. The Queen of mummy’s heart.

I Miss You, Daddy

Initially mummy thought emeryn’s memory towards daddy will fade off as soon as daddy left to UK... But mummy was surprised to know that emeryn still have a very very fond memory towards daddy...She does not only remember her daddy’s face but always give response each time we pronounce daddy’s name, Jimmy.. She would look around as if daddy is coming back... It amazed mummy that Emeryn can still remember so well despite she was only 14mths when daddy left...

While at home, every single day Emeryn will holds the photo frame containing daddy’s and mummy’s photo and call out PaPa at least a few times... She never calls MaMa in such a way before.. She would also hug the photo frame and place it on her body as though she is cuddling daddy...Poor lil’ girl.. Emeryn would also let her fav doggie kiss daddy’s photo (the huge wedding photo in the room) and touch daddy... Whenever mummy plays kok-kok-beh with Emeryn and swung her high, she would wave ta-ta to daddy... There was once emeryn woke up in a morning and keeps on calling PaPa.. She walked out from the room and searched the whole house to see if daddy is hiding anywhere... To her dismay, daddy is not around...

Yesterday mummy brought Emeryn for dinner at Fong Wei restaurant, a treat from mummy’s manager... While in the car, emeryn took out mummy’s wallet from the handbag.. She opened the wallet and showed aunty Jenny her daddy’s photo... She then pointed at the photo and keeps on saying PaPa for several times... All of us knew emeryn misses daddy a big time.. Really a lot!!! She did it sometimes at home too, showing granny and ah chor her daddy’s photo inside mummy’s wallet... Sometimes seeing other kids calling Daddy, emeryn would also followed them saying PaPa... Even while mummy is driving, emeryn would call PaPa out of nowhere...
