Day 3 Hong Kong

On the day 3, we went to The Peak, Madame Tussauds where there are about 100 wax figurines of real famous peoples. We had to travel via MTR and followed by public bus up to the hill... long journey, huh??? We also went to Lan Kwai Fong (the most well known dining and happening night life spot), Stanley Market, Causeway Bay Market and Avenue of Stars... We had dim sum for breakfast and daddy spent generously...

Mummy also bought Emeryn 2 pairs of socks at the night market behind the hotel when mummy and daddy went for late supper...Mummy and Daddy had yummy fried & bbq chicken wings, porridge and sweet & sour noodle while Emeryn sleeping soundly in the cozy hotel room....Emeryn captured few photos with some celebrity too at the Madame Tussauds...luckily she is not scares of them... hehehe :)

Day 2 Hong Kong

We transited from Macau to HK by ferry in the morning after breakfast at Golden Crown China hotel... we had buffet breakfast at the hotel before leaving to the ferry terminal....we were late for breakfast, so not much choice left.. Mummy successfully negotiated a small portion of porridge for lil' Emeryn... emeryn finished the porridge and a cup of fresh orange juice... she seems to love it too...

We were staying at Dorsett Seaview Hotel for day 2 & day 3.... On day 2, we went to Wong Tai Sin Temple, shopping complex and Ladies Market in the afternoon...We went to Temple Street which is just a walking distance at the hotel while daddy is busy with his notebook in the hotel again.... sigh....

At Ladies Market, mummy bought Emeryn a toy hand phone operated by batteries as emeryn likes playing with mummy's and daddy's hand phone so much... mummy also brought emeryn a birthday gown, bumble bee attire and a chinese-style pyjamas...
 

Day 1 Pen-Kul-Macau

Our flight to KL was at 8:05am...Again Emeryn have to wake up as early as 6am and we reached Macau at 5.30pm.... daddy checked in to a 5-stars hotel and it cost him hkd850. wow, imagine dat...it's about rm400+. Emeryn hardly settle herself on the flight... she kept making noise and hardly sleeps in there....

Emeryn seriously loved to stay in the hotel so much... she would walk and crawl around and play alone on the bed... she keeps on smiling and having a lot of fun in the hotel room which i don't know why....

For the first day we did not go anywhere as all of us are very tired... after having shower, we took the shuttle bus to Macau city and had dinner... Yucks, the dinner ain't nice at all... then we walked around the nearby places...and then went back to the hotel and have a good nite sleep...

Finalist for "Most Beautiful Mom" contest

I received a call from Gurney Plaza management that i was chosen as one of the 14 finalist in the contest... I'm so so happy...and i never expect i could go that far.... seriously never thought of that...the lady was asking for my height, weight, body stat... shame la....

I submitted my entry yesterday.. At first i were quite reluctant to submit upon reading all the terms and conditions...all the finalists need to parade a casual wear, elegant dinner wear and sport wear... well, i'm not up to this and never got to the stage doing so in my whole entire life....and i never thought it will ever happen on me... i thought all these contests are meant for super model only and i never pictured myself like a super model...imagine having catwalk in the stage... i was taken aback after reading it and gave myself a second thought... should i or shouldn't i proceed??? well, what the heck since i've prepared the photo... just give it a try... and here i go... i rushed like mad as i parked my car at the illegal parking...finally submitted everything....job done...

Gosh, i still can't believe it that i'm one of the finalist.....Jim wasn't giving me any support and keeps pushing me down and try to demotivate me... terrible husband... maybe he's jealous... this year is the first year i'm celebrating mother's day... and i'm showered with so many gifts...

First emeryn got a consolation for jusco baby contest, followed by winning the Mini Me contest by Parenthood and now the finalist for Most Beautiful Mom... i admit i don't have the charm to be the most beautiful mum but at least i am one to emeryn... the least i could be.... hope we will win more and more contest and keep it as a good memory of having emeryn in my life... without emeryn, i shall not be so proud... she's my only priceless princess... thanks, Emeryn....

Come to the bad news now after the long story... Gurney Plaza management needs all the finalists to be there on this Sun for a photo shoot and make up session by Stella-In... too bad, i will be away for my holiday... the lady said will call me back to confirm again... sigh... a happy moment lasted me for about 2 minutes and then poured over the bad news to me... so cruel :( i don't want to forgo my trip yet i don't want to forgo such a good chance....

"Mother and Daughter Look Alike" Contest

    

Guys, do you think we look alike??? Well, i'm faking it so badly... I always wish i could look like Emeryn... she's so beautiful and adorable.... everyone loves emeryn.... any idea how could i fake further to look alike??? these photos are for Queensbay Mall's contest... I have yet to submit them as the last day will be on 11th May... perhaps will do it after my trip....

"Most Beautiful Mom" Contest

Submitted my photo for "Beautiful Mom" Contest for Gurney Plaza and GAMA Supermarket... Well, it's such a rush for me as i just read the flyers that Gurney Plaza and GAMA are having such a contest... this photo is eventually taken on this afternoon as i brought emeryn for a photo shoot... else i would opt for a family photo rather than my own single shoot...

I was so tired traveling around to develop and submit all those entries.... luckily it's a public holiday today... even though i might not win the title of Beautiful Mom in the eyes of the judges, i wish i'm the most beautiful mom for emeryn....

@ Hope Children Again.. Sigh...

Bad news.... brought Emeryn to Hope Children again and this round it cost me exactly RM100.. Emeryn is down with infection... well it's all started with minor rashes on her neck as she sweats really a lot... due to it, she started having rashes few weeks ago and we thought it would cure with some anti-bacterial powder and lotion... well, it does not...it's getting worst and worst this 2 days and it spread all around her neck and even to her hands...

Gosh....I feel so helpless looking on Emeryn's neck and i can't do a thing to lessen her pain... doctor prescribed her with some antibiotic and allergy pill, body wash and cream to apply... she needs a follow up check next week... Poor girl !!! Hope she will recover before this Saturday as we will be traveling to Macau and Hong Kong... or else no traveling for Emeryn.... i just want her to have a pleasant journey....

Hope it's nothing serious and make sure she won't sweat again... will put her in air-cond room for 24hours... get well soon, lil' princess... Some pic showing how active Emeryn was during her visit to the hospital...

Lunch at May Garden

For the first time, Emeryn allows us to have a proper meal.... each time she will make a terrible fuss seeing us eating while she sits in the baby chair looking helplessly... poor, girl!!!! This round, mummy allows emeryn having rice with fish gravy and japanese bean curb.. wow, she seems to love it so much.. this is also the first time she ate so much rice...

Before the dishes were served, mummy carried Emeryn around and has a look on the aquarium in the restaurant...and almost all the waitresses there were looking at Emeryn and again compliment on her big and lively eyes...they even carried her around... and of course, not long after that, emeryn starts looking and shouting for mummy as she was surrounded by aliens.. oppss.. i mean strangers....

Outing to Queensbay Mall 01/05/07

It seems like Emeryn don't really enjoy her outing this round... at first she's quite ok, looking and wandering around... but very soon she started talking alone, mumbling non-stop... later follow by loud crying... oh boy, she's out of control... i hurried my way to the car park as i failed to find one nice top for emeryn and i could no longer bear with such a loud cry...

By the way, my main purpose to Queensbay is to get the contest form for Mother & Daughter Look Alike contest especially for this coming Mother's Day. Just give it a try though i know Emeryn looks like daddy and not much like mummy...no harm trying, rite???

Potty Training

Look at Emeryn's funny expression when she struggle to poo-poo...every morning after her milk breakfast, will let her sit on the potty and make it a daily routine for her...the funniest part isn't her expression but half way through her poo-poo she will stands up and start walking around... imagine she has not settled her business and yet she starts to mess around...eww...dirty baby...at times while sitting on her potty, she will curiously look inside the potty for the business she has made...Not long after that, she will put her hands inside the potty... huh....curiosity kills a cat..
