Disney on Ice

For the first time, Emeryn & Flo joined mummy and her BBBG (Big Boys Big Girls) gang for their foodie nite at Northam Beach. We were the first to arrived and we ordered some food while waiting for the rest to join us. It was a nite filled with variety of food, good laugh and good companion while Emeryn & Flo busied themselves with the Doctor Toy Set that mummy brought over. The two drama queens fought over the toys at one moment and another moment turned to be a lovey-dovey sisterly relation. They never failed to be friend, unfriend and the cycle continues. We called it a nite at about 10.30pm while the rest continued drinking away.

Emeryn attended Art Class on Sat morning and she choose a nice outfit for herself knowing that we're watching Disney on Ice right after the class. It was 12.15pm when mummy picked Emeryn from art class and we're running out of time to catch a good seat at Pisa. Mummy got Emeryn to grab a bread and ribena on the way to Pisa. We reached there before the show starts but unfortunately aunty Mei & Flo were late. Emeryn got so excited meeting those Disney characters and keep throwing questions after questions to mummy. After an hour, they took a break and Emeryn requested mummy to buy her a mug tumbler filled with frozen ice. It costs mummy RM30. What an expensive thing!!! The show finished at 3pm and we bought nasi lemak and pisang goreng home to fill our hungry tummies. After that, we continued our day watching mummy's tvb series in the room before Emeryn fell asleep at 7pm. Emeryn continued to sleep and mummy has to forgo going out for dinner. Lucky enough, mummy got her friend to deliver her Mc D.

We spent our Sun morning at home, lazing around and continued the tvb series marathon. We drove out to the temple at about 2.45pm to offers prayer to ah chor. All the Mah's family gathered together for the prayer and we went to Farlim for the infamous laksa before parted. We also discussed about the up-coming family trip to Phuket and all the arrangement. After the meal, mummy sent Por Por and Toki Ee Ee home before we drove to Pekaka as Emeryn wanted to collect the toys that daddy bought for her. She ended up staying at Pekaka for 3hours playing with lil' Joel and Joey. Mummy went home and picked her from Pekaka at about 8pm.

Emeryn exciting showed mummy that her teacher compliments her and at the same time told her that she was a little too slow finishing her work. That's my typical drama queen. She would takes ages to finish up her homework. She would write a line and then walk around and talk or distract herself and then continue her homework. She needs constant nagging from mummy just to complete her homework. :)

On Sat morning, Emeryn attended Art Class as usual and we bought lunch back home right after the class. We then spent the whole afternoon at home and took our afternoon nap together from 3.30pm to 6pm. We went out for dinner at about 8pm and headed home after that. It was a pure homey Saturday.

Sunday sounded much better where we started our day as early as 8am where we went out for breakfast with mummy's friend. We went home and packed our stuff before heading out to Queensbay Mall to catch the brand new release movie, The Lorax. We were there early and hang around the theme park killing our time before the show. It was a nice movie indeed. While on our way home, we dropped by at the clinic to check on Emeryn. She was developing some tiny reddish allergy and luckily it wasn't chicken pox. We went home for a short rest before going out to Por Por's place for our dinner and the usual Sun visit.

Last Thurs, mummy had her monthly gathering at The Cruise Steakhouse @ Logan Heritage, a new chic and trendy place with perfect ambience. It was a very interesting place and beautifully furnished where the showcase some display. We were there early and Emeryn walked around the dining hall experimenting those displays with one of the waiter over there. The waiter showed her around and even brought her to the courtyard. And they made friend. The Cruise serves superb mushroom soup and we had a real sumptuous meal. Before ending the dinner session, mummy and her friends had the gift exchange for the belated Valentine's Day. Mummy got a bottle of red wine from the gift exchange and we were all complimented a cocktail on the house.

Mummy sent Emeryn to Por Por's house on Friday evening but Emeryn refused to go. She cried so badly when mummy drove off. The main reason was she got scolded from Por Por a week ago for being naughty. Emeryn attended art class as usual on Sat and we brought lunch home. After lunch, mummy and Emeryn watched movie together and spent some mother-daughter bonding time. Emeryn enjoys watching tvb series with mummy. At about 5pm, we meet up with Toki Ee Ee, Sherine Ee Ee and Uncle Lin Chun at IJM sales office as they are grabbing a unit at the soon-to-launched project, The Vertiq. We send Toki Ee Ee and Uncle Lin Chun back to Por Por's place and we waited for Por Por and Ah Kong to go for dinner together. At the dinner's place, Emeryn asked mummy to get a dvd. Upon reaching home after the dinner, Emeryn watched the whole movie before heading to the bed.

On Sun, mummy picked Ah Kong, Por Por and Toki Ee Ee to 1st Avenue where we had our breakfast at Old Town. Uncle Lin Chun came on his own. At the same time, we had a brief talk about Por Por's new insurance policy with the insurance agent. After the talked, we went for a movie, The Wedding Diary at 11.50am. We headed home after the movie before we had our family dinner along with Sherine Ee Ee and her family. Toki Ee Ee and Uncle Lin Chun left to the bus station after the dinner and we headed home.

Earlier this week, Emeryn was so excited seeing a stack of new clothing which mummy ordered directly from Taiwan. She thanked and compliment mummy for her good taste. She said "Let's go home and I'll get my momey to buy you some dress at the pasar malam." The thought counts; making mummy smiling from ear to ear.

Mummy was very impressed with Emeryn's writing skill. She has improved tremendously. But on the down side, Ms Lee (her class teacher) complained that Emeryn is too playful and she do not listen to instruction. She is a dreamy girl and do not pay attention during the class. How bad is that, right???

While being the naughty girl at school, she melted mummy's heart with a drawing every afternoon. In the day care, she would draw a drawing with mummy's name on it or do a simple origami and presented to mummy as soon as mummy picked her up.

Mummy flew to KL on Mon morning and flew home the same evening. Mummy bought Mc Donalds home as dinner and picked Emeryn from Pekaka before we head home for dinner together. Mummy stayed up to almost 2am on Tues; with the sole intention of getting a good deal from Air Asia. And yes, finally mummy successfully booked a ticket for us to Tokyo. Yay, we're traveling to Tokyo on Nov. It's like a dream comes true. Granny picked Emeryn from the afternoon school and sent her to Melody for her Public Speaking replacement class. Granny insisted Emeryn joined the class and she paid for the 8 weeks course. Again, granny sent her to Melody on Fri afternoon for the class and mummy picked her from Melody after work.

Emeryn attended Art Class as usual on Sat morning before heading for mummy's facial appointment. We drove to Tanjung Tokong for lunch right after art class. On our way to lunch, we dropped by and quench our thirst with the fresh coconut drink. We had lunch at the infamous Tor Pui Loh chicken rice. Emeryn entertained herself with her movie while mummy had her facial done. She also talked non-stop with the cleaner and the masseur. After the facial, we went to Tesco Tanjung Pinang where mummy promised to bring Emeryn to the indoor theme park. She played awhile and we bought some pastry before going home. We both finished it up on our way home. Initially we are supposed to go out for dinner but Emeryn fell asleep as early as 8pm, thus mummy got to get her dinner next to our place.

We spent our Sun morning at home and only drove to Por Por's place in the late afternoon. We had our early dinner there before heading to New Gurney for Emeryn's cycling session. We spent an hour there before it gets dark and went home.

Tues was a public holiday, Thaipusam and we spent our morning at home. All of the sudden, Emeryn reminded mummy of the bicycle mummy once promised. So we drove out in the afternoon to the bicycle shop at Lip Sin and Emeryn immediately fall in love with one particular bicycle. After much negotiation, we grabbed it at RM200 without visiting other shops. We drove further to check for a safety helmet and ended buying a purple helmet at RM70. We went home and Emeryn tested on her new toy. She still can't pedal the correct way and after 30min of guidance, she successfully pedal correctly. What an achievement for her???

Emeryn attended Art Class on Sat morning as usual. Later in the afternoon, mummy brought her to New Gurney where she enjoyed her cycling session. She cycled and mummy has to chased after her. After awhile, we sat down and she started singing Row Your Boat & Once I Caught A Fish Alive. Mummy recorded it into a video. After much cycling, we went to the flea market besides Burger King and quench our thirst. We also bought home dinner.

On Sun morning, we had our dim sum breakfast with Ah Kong and Por Por at Tai Thong. We bumped into Aunty SuChing and her friends over there. After our breakfast, Emeryn followed Ah Kong and Por Por to the market whereas mummy went for her massage session followed by her make-up course. Ah Kong and Por Por brought her to Ah Kong's factory and Giant for free kiddy ride before going back for lunch. Mummy went to Por Por's place for her late lunch as well. We went home after that and we had our dinner along with daddy at Sushi King, Egate. After dinner, mummy sent her to Pekaka where she has to over night there as mummy will be flying to KL for work the next morning.

We went to Queensbay on Sun noon to catch "Meet the Disney Characters". Before the event, we had a quick lunch at Sushi King as suggested by Emeryn, her current favorite. We went to the center atrium to catch the session but mummy has got the wrong info about the timing. There was a booth selling Disney on Ice ticket. Emeryn spotted the slide show on the notebook and enjoyed watching it. Mummy asked if Emeryn would want to watch them live and she nodded. Without much ado, mummy purchased the said ticket and even called Aunty Mei to check if she want to get it as well. We ended up buying another two tickets for Aunty Mei and Flo. We went shopping while waiting for the photo session with the Disney Characters. Again luck wasn't on our side as the photo session is only opened to the first 60 sign up. So we only watched the photo session from far. We then drove to Por Por's place for our dinner.

CNY Day 6 - Hatyai

Since everyone was in Penang for their CNY break, we decided to make a day trip to Hatyai on Sat, Day 6 of CNY. We started our journey as early as 6.30am. We drove up to Changloon and make a stop to deal with the car insurance before entering the Thai Border. At the moment, Carmen Ee Ee only realized she has left her passport at home. She has no choice but to drive back to Penang and catch up with us later at Hatyai. We reached Hatyai at about 11.30am and we were forced to make a stop as mummy's car was having over heating problem. We had lunch at the economy rice stall while waiting for the car to cool down. We continued our journey to Lee Garden after our lunch.

We shopped at the Lee Garden Plaza and mummy bought some hair accessories and earrings for Emeryn. After about an hour there, we walked up to the food court for a quick drink before walking over to the street market. Carmen & Sherine Ee Ee reached shortly and joined us for the walk. We had the infamous bird nest and then continued our street market shopping while Ah Kong went for foot reflexology. At the street market, we bought some cashew nut, fruits, instant noodles, cuttlefish and etc.

After all the shopping, we pampered ourselves with a Thai whole body massage at Sakura Hotel. It was a real good massage and yet it was real affordable. We had our dinner after the massage and headed to Watson to grab some toiletries since it was cheaper compare to Malaysia. We headed home at about 9.45pm and we have to make few stops to make sure the car is in good condition. We finally reached the Malaysia border before 12am and continued our journey home.

CNY 1st Day

CNY Day 2

On the first day of CNY, we headed for our late lunch at Por Por's place. After our lunch, we drove to Ah Chor's house for CNY visiting. Emeryn received some red packet from the relatives and played with Belle Belle, the dog. We stayed for about 45mins before heading home for a short nap. Later at nite, we drove to 1st Avenue for the family movie outing. We watched Alls Well Ends Well at 9.10pm. After our movie, we went to Kapitan for supper where we hang out and chilled out as well before sending Tokie Ee Ee, Ah Kong and Por Por home. We reached home about 1am.

We went to Por Por's place at 3.30pm on the second day of CNY where we had our lunch there. Sherine Ee Ee and her family were there as well. After our meal, we went to Kek Lok Si with Ah Kong and Por Por. The first pit stop, Emeryn fed the tortoise. We walked around and snapped some photo before driving up to Kek Lok Si's Peak. It was so crowded with visitors. We bumped into my cousin sis, Celine Ee Ee over there and we finally left at about 7pm. We went for dinner with the rest at Lai Lai's food court. We headed home straight after our dinner.

Mummy started working on the 3rd day of CNY itself whereby Emeryn started her school on the 4th day of CNY. Mummy left Emeryn over night at Por Por's place on Friday nite where she went out for CNY gathering with her friends.

Since the demise of Ah Chor, mummy & her family won't be celebrating CNY like the years before. They opted for a family lunch at Evergreen Laurel Hotel on CNY's Eve. We reached the hotel at about 12.30pm and spent almost 2hours there. We didn't eat much as there were limited choices of food but lucky enough, Emeryn's portion is free. We snapped some family photo after the lunch adjourned.

We then drove to Prangin Mall along with Toki, Carmen and Sherene Ee Ee for a quick shopping. After the shopping, we headed home for our afternoon nap. Later in the evening, we had another reunion dinner at another Ah Chor's place at Macallum.

Mon was a replacement holiday for 01/01/2012 and we spent our day at home. Mummy went to work on Tues and sent Emeryn to Pekaka before she went off to work. It was her last day of honeymoon before attending new school on Wed. Mummy took a day off from work to accompanied Emeryn to school for her first day.

We arrived early on Wed while waiting for Flo to reached. Emeryn was doing extremely well in the school and was well behaved too. Mummy and aunty Mei sneaked out for a quick breakfast while leaving the kids at school and we came back before the school ends. Right after picking Emeryn from the school, we headed to the Immigration Department where we had Emeryn's passport renewed. While waiting for the passport collection, we went to Mc D at Sunrise Tower for our late lunch. After lunch we dropped by at Trinity to check out their full day care and Emeryn said she likes that place.

Mummy planned to send Emeryn for full day starting next week. While on Sat, Emeryn attended Art Class as usual. Beena kor kor fetched Emeryn to Batu Ferringghi where she booked a hotel room and all of them went for a swim at about 2.30pm. Mummy was home alone, doing her spring cleaning before she drove to Prangin Mall for her shopping. After having her late dinner at about 9.30pm, mummy went home and waited for Emeryn. Emeryn fell asleep in Ah Kong's car before reaching home. Obviously she was too tired and had lots of fun.

On Sun we went to Din Ho Kee for lunch where mummy utilized the voucher she bought online. After our lunch, mummy brought Emeryn to Chew Thean Yang Aquarium where we named it "mini zoo". Emeryn keep on insisting mummy to get her a puppy and of course mummy refused. We bought some fish stock and fed the fishes at the pond. We then walked over to New World Park where mummy bought a baby tee and few hair accessories for Emeryn. We drove to Prangin Mall and waited for both Por Por and Ah Kong to arrived. While waiting, mummy gave RM1.20 to Emeryn as she wanted to grab sundae cone from Mc D's counter. She ended up ordering sundae cone with flavor twist and surprisingly came back with RM1.2o without paying. Mummy insisted Emeryn to pay and she said it was actually a treat from a Malay chap queuing behind her. The Malay chap converse in Mandarin "wo zhing ni che". What a day??? When Por Por arrived, we hopped into Levi's hoping to get a pair of jeans for her. Ended up she complained the over-priced jeans and we walked out without any purchase. We then drove to their place for our usual dinner before driving home.

Emeryn's hair accessories

@ Sakae Sushi

Last Mon was a replacement holiday for X'mas. In the morning, mummy and Emeryn went to the Lip Sin market just with a single intention of getting some puzzle for Emeryn. Emeryn has shown tremendous improvement in fixing a more complicated puzzle and mummy wanted her to have a more challenging puzzle to fixed. Ended up, Emeryn selected 2 complicated puzzles and another 2 simple version of puzzles. We dropped by at Pekaka to get the stroller and Emeryn gave 1 simple puzzle to Joel. We rushed home a quick bath before going to the hair salon where mummy had her hair dyed in red color. After getting her hair colored, we headed to Prangin Mall where mummy decided to use a stroller for Emeryn to avoid her from running around. Again Emeryn requested for tom yam, her all-time fav. Mummy fulfilled her wish of having tom yam before we headed to Por Por's and brought her out to the pasar malam. Finally mummy successfully bought Por Por 3 pieces of clothing for CNY. We went home after finished walking and Emeryn started to complain of tiredness.

Emeryn has stopped going to Taska Sri Embun for the whole last week. So mummy sent her to Pekaka in the morning and picked her home after work. On Thurs, mummy went to Trinity, Emery's new school to collect her school book and that evening, mummy busied herself with all the books wrapping, sharpening her pencils and color pencils, put the uniform in place and get everything ready for school the following week.

On Sat, Emeryn attended Art Class at 10am. We had our home-cooked porridge with century egg and salted egg before going on our shopping spree again. We went out at about 4pm and we first headed to Gama, It was just a short walk at Gama as there were nothing much to offer. Mummy then drove to 1st Avenue. We shopped there for awhile but unable to get anything and then we spotted a small corner where they offered games. Emeryn participated in it and won herself an Angry Bird's ruler and a cash voucher worth RM10 at Sakae Sushi. At first Emeryn requested to have Sushi King, but at last mummy decided to bring her to Sakae Sushi to utilize the voucher she won. We had a very heavy meal over there and co-incidentally we bumped into Aunty SuChing and YY before walking over to Prangin Mall. Finally mummy bought 2 dresses for Emeryn and another piece for herself. We left at about 9.30pm and headed to the pasar malam at Pekaka. We only managed to get few pairs of earring and we left right after that. We were out for almost 7hours and came home with a tired body. Emeryn fell asleep almost immediately.

There goes our New Year Eve...

On Sun morning, we went to Jelutong market and bought some hair accessories for Emeryn, Flo and Joey. Mummy left Emeryn at Pekaka after that and she went home to catch up with some cleaning before babysitting Emeryn and Joel later in the afternoon. Emeryn invited Joel over for some play time. At about 5pm, we sent Joel home and we headed to Por Por's for our usual visit and satisfied ourselves with some home cooked meal.

The Elves and the Shoemaker

On Mon nite, mummy drove Ah Kong, Por Por, Carmen Ee Ee and Emeryn to Northam Beach where we had our so-called family dinner along with Sherine Ee Ee and her family. It was a quick get-together dinner as Carmen Ee Ee were back in Penang for a short break.

While on Sat noon, mummy brought Emeryn to the hair saloon as she needed to perm her hair. Emeryn was very co-operative and did some coloring and writing while waiting for mummy at the hair saloon. At nite, mummy's friend drove us to AutoCity for a Christmas's Eve dinner at Swensen's. Emeryn was attracted to the indoor playground so much and make herself glued to the playground instead of her dinner. After our dinner, we had a short walk at the night market and watched the open air concert before heading home.

The next day, we went to QBM at about 12.45pm and we caught The Elves and the Shoemaker's live show. After the show, we dropped by at JCo and mummy had a gathering with her friends as Aunty Karen made a surprise visit to Penang. We also had our late dinner at the Queen's food court before joining them again at JCo. We left not long after that as Ah Kong and Por Por were at QBM as well and mummy brought them for shopping. Ended up, mummy brought Ah Kong a watch but Por Por didn't get anything for herself. At about 3pm, Emeryn queued up and snapped photo with Santa & Santarina. We continued our shopping after the photo session before we go on separate way with them. After shopping at QBM, we drove straight to Por Por's place for our dinner before heading home.

On Sat we went to Tesco at Tanjung Pinang for a nite out along with aunty Mei & Flo. Aunty Mei picked us from our home at around 6.30pm and we headed straight to the theme park. After a few games, we had our dinner at the food court before continuing with another few games. The kids refused to leave even though the adults insisted. After much persuasion, we headed to Batu Feringghi and grabbed some dvd. It was a bad jam all the way up to Batu Feringghi. We only had a short walk after getting the dvds as both Emeryn & Flo got out of control.

Since the nite was still young, we decided to go for a drinks at Bossa Vino. Mummy and aunty Mei shared a bucket of beer while the kids played their puzzle. After awhile, they both got into the mood and started to request for songs. Amazingly Emeryn can sing most of the current hitz songs and she can even dance sexily. Mummy got so amused seeing her dance and she was a real dancer. Emeryn also impressed mummy with all the latest songs lyric (tonite gonna be a good nite, waka waka, nobody) which probably mummy doesn't know too. We called it a nite at about 11.45pm.

The next morning mummy brought Emeryn along for her facial and eyebrow re-touch appointment as mummy woke up late. Emeryn behaved so well the whole 3hours by sitting quietly and watched her new dvds and eating her snacks. We went to Por Por's place for lunch after the facial session. Mummy went home for a quick refreshment while leaving Emeryn at Por Por's place. Later mummy picked Emeryn & Por Por to Prangin Mall for our CNY shopping. Eventually only mummy got herself rewarded with some clothing and 2 pairs of heels. Emeryn kept asking for tom yam noodle as soon as we stepped into the mall. She recognize the aroma of it and mummy bought home the tom yam noodle for her. We went home right after that.

Mummy had a short chat with lil' cheeky's teacher after school and the teacher commented "Sometimes out of nowhere Emeryn would tell me 'I love my mummy' ". That's the sweetest X'mas gift for mummy. :)

We had a dinner gathering with mummy's friend at town area on Mon. After the dinner, both mummy and aunty Mei dropped by at Snowbeer to catch up 2 drinks before heading home. Emeryn & Flo were there as well and they were busy playing together while mummy and aunty Mei catching up together.

On Sat, we had our lunch by utilizing the online voucher that mummy bought. It was an Indian cuisine at Gurney Tower. After our lunch, we went to Gurney Plaza for our CNY shopping, as planned. After walking for about 3.5hours, we ended up get nothing. Instead mummy drove to Al-Ikshan and finally got Emeryn a new pair of Nike. We went home after that and Beena kor kor was waiting for Emeryn as they are bringing Emeryn along for a relative's wedding dinner. Half way through the dinner, Emeryn called back and insisted to go home. She missed mummy so much that she wanted to forgo the dinner. Ended up ah ma successfully convinced her to stay on.

The next morning we went for our so-called morning jog but it was too sunny since we woke up late that morning. Instead of jogging, we just hang out around the playground. We went for our breakfast after that. Later in the afternoon we went over to Por Por's place for our dinner.

Emeryn's fever subsided on Mon and she requested to eat sushi. It was a replacement holiday and mummy decided to bring her to Gurney Plaza for lunch and a quick shopping. Tokkie Ee Ee and her bf were there as well as they are heading for their facial. We met them for lunch together and then we walked around for awhile before heading home. Mummy bought 2 baby tees from PDI for herself and a sandals for Emeryn. Later in the evening, we are supposed to meet Ee Ee and other for dinner before she departs back to Singapore. Ee Ee helped to sent back mummy's car from the workshop. Finally it was all repaired. While driving out for dinner, Emeryn fell asleep and mummy decided not to join them for dinner, but instead take away her dinner.

Over the few days, her fever came back on and off and mummy was worried if it's dengue fever. On Tues night, mummy brought Emeryn to Klinik Bersatu and was prescribed new medicine for fever, cough and runny nose. At that very same night, something bad happened. Emeryn's sickness did not get any better and she got the same shivering on Wed nite again. Mummy took emergency leave on Thurs and brought her to LWE. Again she was prescribed new medicine from Dr. Tan. The very same evening, she attended art class.

On Sat, we went to Straits Quay for the Popular Book Fair. Mummy bought a cook book for herself and a Winnie the Pooh story book and a set of craft scissor for Emeryn & as Florence's b'day gift. After the book fair, we dropped by at the play park at Tesco where Emeryn requested to play several games. We had our late dinner at the Pulau Tikus western food before heading home.

Mummy sent Emeryn to Por Por's house the next morning as she had her facial appointment. Mummy drove over to Por Por's house after her facial and had her lunch there before heading home. We spent the rest of the afternoon at home before daddy brought Emeryn out to Md Donalds at about 6pm. After the Mc Donalds outing, we had our dinner with Aunty Mei and Flo at Egate.

School Concert 2011

Mummy's car got banged from behind on Fri noon, after dropping Emeryn at You & Me. It was a minor damage but yet it has to be repaired. Granny picked Emeryn after school while mummy drove to the mechanic to check on the damage. The next morning, we went to Trinity Methodist Church where mummy registered Emeryn to this new kindy starting next year. We paid for the registration, books and uniform. We went to Mc Donalds after that for our breakfast before leaving the car at the workshop. Tokkie Ee Ee and her bf dropped us home from the workshop. We went home and get readied for Emeryn's school concert preparation. Mummy's friend dropped us at Sunshine Square at about 2.30pm.

Emeryn's performance was The March and they dressed like a soldier. Daddy, kor kor and her bf were there to watched the concert together. Earlier Emeryn's temperature was a bit higher than usual and mummy fed he with panadol during the concert. We took a taxi home right after it has adjourned. Despite having high fever, Emeryn insisted mummy to read her a bed time story and even laughed at it. Later at the nite, Emeryn was shivering so badly and complained of coldness. Mummy rushed her to LWE's emergency and her fever went as high as 40.9 celcius. But one good thing was, despite the high fever Emeryn ain't having fit.

Mummy starts having few disturbed nights ever since the fever struck. On top of the fever, Emeryn was also down with bad cough and runny nose.

Mummy enrolled Emeryn to the QBM's Kids Model Search. The audition was on Sat, where mummy will be away at Genting for her team building. Before the day, mummy took some photo of Emeryn modelling at home.

Ah Ma & Beena kor kor brought Emeryn to QBM for the audition on Sat. Too bad, Emeryn was too shy to pose in front of the camera and mummy wasn't around to guide her.

Emeryn spent her Fri nite at Pekaka and mummy picked her up on Sat nite at about 10pm.

Ah Kong's B'day & Pot Luck @ Aunty Mei's

Emeryn & Florence

Mon was a public holiday and we spent our day at home; whereby mummy was so carried away with the online ordering while Emeryn did her revision and watched her movie as well. Mummy asked if Emeryn wants to go to Gurney Plaza for lunch but instead she opted for chicken rice. While in the evening, mummy cooked porridge instead of going out since we need to finish the last round of revision before the exam on the next morning. Mummy ordered 2 evening gowns for Emeryn via online order which cost a total of RM185.

On Wed after work, mummy rushed to QBM and grabbed a quick birthday present for Ah Kong. Mummy bought a set of wallet and belt for Ah Kong. After picking Emeryn from You & Me, we went to Sushi King @ Egate for a quick dinner before driving downtown for a real quick b'day celebration for Ah Kong. Ah Theng Ee Ee bought an ice cream cake for him. We sang a b'day song and had a slice of cake before rushing home for a short revision.

We went for a family dinner a.k.a. birthday dinner for Ah Kong and mummy's uncle on Fri evening. Toki Ee Ee was around too since she came back for her friend's wedding. Emeryn attended art class on Sat morning while mummy went to Tesco to grab some ingredients for the pot luck session. Mummy cooked spaghetti bolognise and spicy flower crab. Mummy busied herself in the kitchen while Emeryn enjoyed her movie time.

Aunty Karen came all the way from KL to join us for this pot luck session. We reached Aunty Mei's place at about 6pm but the kids did not managed to swim or even have their water play since it was drizzling. We had a fantastic time enjoying all the home-cooked meal. Hui Ying and Hui Siang joined us for the pot luck session as well. We left at about 9pm and mummy drove downtown to deliver some spicy flower crab for Ah Theng Ee Ee since she loves eating crab.

The next morning, Emeryn went for the trial Salsa Class at Montana Dance & Art Centre along with Florence and Hui Ying. After the class we headed to QBM where mummy and Emeryn had their eyes checked before we had our lunch at Mc Donalds. Mummy gave herself a big treat by pampering herself with a pair of Gucci sunshade. We drove home after our meal and then headed over to Por Por's house in the evening for dinner.

No More Smart Reader, yay!!!

Emeryn has stopped her Smart Reader class on sat starting Nov. Mummy has just realized the level was too easy for a 5years old and Emeryn are coping so much better now. The whole week was about revision and revision since Emeryn's final exam starts on 8th Nov. The exam gave pressure to both mummy and Emeryn, whereby mummy have to make sure Emeryn's revision were done every single day.

On Sun noon, we went to Old Town @ Egate as mummy set up an appointment with the online seller where mummy bought a dress for Emeryn. Aunty Mei and Flo also joined us for lunch. We went home after that before going out to Por Por's house in the evening for our dinner. Before heading over to Por Por's house, we dropped by at several kid's wear outlet to check out some nice dresses for Emeryn. Unfortunately we were unable to get anything suitable.

Lately Emeryn has been doing something really strange. She would murmured "I love you, mummy" while she was half sleeping. She repeatedly said that for 2 nights in a row. Ain't that sweet???

On Sat morning we woke up at 6.15am and get ourselves readied for a road trip to KL. We picked por por and ah kong at 7.10am and started our journey slowly heading to Ipoh while mummy's cousin bro and cousin sis catch up from behind. We reached Ipoh at 9.15am and drove over to mummy's aunty place before we waited for her to get ready and all of us went for breakfast nearby. Finally we started our journey at about 10.45am and with the assistance of the gps device, we reached KL at about 1pm without getting lost. We had a quick rest before deciding checking Mid Valley out for lunch and also the gathered with Toki Ee Ee and Carmen Ee Ee. Again, it was a family affair thingy where we are attending mummy's cousin sis's wedding at Subang Parade. We didn't managed to shop after lunch but hang up awhile before driving back to the rented home at Bandar Kinrara. Emeryn was the only one who managed to grab something from Mid Valley. She asked for a Barbie's watch.

After reaching Kinrara, we got ourselves readied for the wedding dinner and drove to Subang Parade on our own. We snapped a lot of beautiful photos throughout the night. We ended the nite after mid-nite and all of us cramped into a small room, but yet we had a good nite sleep before starting our day early the next day. The wedding ceremony started with some games and pranks on the groom and his mates followed by the Chinese tea ceremony. Mummy had a quick chat with her distance relative before leaving the rented home for lunch. We had lunch before dropping ah kong and por por to the bus station at One Utama as they are heading to Genting. At the end, Carmen Ee Ee decided to drive

We left KL at about 2.45pm and only had a pit-stop before continuing our journey home. Emeryn was quite co-operative when mummy was driving and fell asleep after 2hours journey. Mummy only took 3hours to reach Penang.

Emeryn & Florence @ Bossa Vino

After attending art class and Smart Reader on Sat, mummy and Emeryn went to Bossa Vino for a session of happy hours as well as to catch up for few drinks with her friends. Flo was there too. We ordered dinner from Ivy's Kitchen and ate at Bossa Vino. Mummy brought along her notebook so that Emeryn and Flo could watch the kids movie without disturbing mummy and her friends. The movie only occupied them for 15mins and they decided to play with other stuff.

Funnily at one mooment, both Emeryn and Flo were so close and intimate to each other, hugging and kissing away; but another moment fighting over some petty issues. We hang up for almost 3hours before leaving at 10.30pm. Emeryn fell asleep in the car on our way home.

Mummy dropped Emeryn at por por's place on Sun early morning as she has a facial appointment at 9.30am. After her facial, mummy went back to Por Por's place for lunch and stayed awhile before leaving home. At home Emeryn kept herself occupied with one movie after another while mummy busied herself with the photobook creation.

On Sun, mummy spent almost 5hours starting on the photobook and getting herself familiarize with the steps and how to be more creative. Emeryn attended art class on Sat morning as usual. After the class, mummy drove to the car workshop to have her air-cond examine but the shop owner wasn't there; so mummy decided to come back later. On the way home, Emeryn asked for nasi lemak for her lunch and luckily mummy found a stall which sells nasi lemak to fulfill her wish. We went back home for a short rest before sending Emeryn to Smart Reader. Mummy got her air-cond serviced while Emeryn was at the class. Again Emeryn asked for nasi lemak for dinner. She has grown a fond love towards nasi lemak lately.

Mummy brought Emeryn out to Youth Park for a water play. We only managed to play awhile before it started to drizzled. We walked towards the playground after getting clean up and the weather was kind enough to at least let Emeryn played for 30mins before it started to rain heavily again. Emeryn bumped into her classmate, Gabby at the playground and they both played together. We rushed to the car when it started to rain and decided to call it off and drove to por por's place for our dinner and our Sun visit.

With Emeryn's school final exam just around the corner, the school has been distributing exam time-table and exam guideline to parents. Kiasu parents, like me no doubt start preparing Emeryn for the exam according to the guideline given. Mummy picked up several pages from the activity book and make Emeryn do it.

Well, it's a bit lame of course where the teachers gave guideline before hand to prepare the kids for the final exam.

One thing for sure, Emeryn's Malay sucks a big time!!! She would have huge trouble since mummy is enrolling her to Sek Kebangsaan on 2013.

mummy's b'day celebration at Soho

On Mon evening, mummy helped Aunty Mei by picking Flo after school since she was tied up with her work. We went for dinner together and Aunty Mei picked Flo after dinner. Again, on Tues evening mummy picked Flo from school but this time mummy brought dinner home instead since Aunty Mei would be late. Mummy fed both princesses during dinner in order not to create any further mess. After the dinner, they both watched some dvds and surprisingly they both were so close, just like sisters leaning on each other and hugging each other on the sofa. After the movie, both of them went into the room and started drawing and coloring. Aunty Mei brought her dinner to our home and spend some time before insisting Flo to go home. Flo refused to go home and cried as soon as she got into the car. She called and said "I miss you" and "I love you" to Emeryn. How sweet???

It was mummy's 30th B'day on Wed and she took a day off to pamper herself. Mummy dropped Emeryn to the school and headed to Winter Warmers for her breakfast. She shopped until 5pm and picked Emeryn from You & Me and then headed home. Daddy brought us to The Ship, Batu Ferringhi for mummy's birthday dinner. After the dinner, daddy surprised mummy with a b'day cake and threw in a planned celebration from The Ship's staff. It was a real surprise as daddy has never did such a thing before. Emeryn fell asleep while on the way home.

Mummy dropped Emeryn at Por Por's house on Fri evening and she went to 1st Avenue and got a b'day present for Tokkie Ee Ee. Mummy bought a Elle watch for her. Mummy's car air cond was out of service on Sat. She sent it to the workshop after dropping Emeryn at Smart Reader. Later daddy picked mummy at the workshop and Emeryn from Smart Reader before dropping us home. Aunty Karen came to Penang and threw mummy a surprise b'day celebration. Mummy and her gang went to Soho for a quick celebration on Sat evening before joining the Mah's family for Tokkie Ee Ee's b'day dinner. We went as far as Khun Tai at Raja Uda for the dinner. After the dinner, Emeryn followed Por Por home as mummy needs to collect her car. Emeryn over night at Por Por's house on that nite.

On Sun morning, mummy went for her eyebrow embroidery and a massage session at home after the appointment. Ah Kong and Por Por drove Emeryn, Tokkie Ee Ee and Uncle Lin Chun for dinner at Super Tanker before sending them to the bus station. Mummy joined them for dinner and then brought Emeryn home.

Happy 21st B'day, Ee Ee

On Tues evening, both mummy and daughter were having movie marathon; the daughter was at the living hall watching though tv while the mummy was in the bedroom watching through her notebook. While on Thurs, we went to TGIF for lunch along with mummy's colleague. At the same time, they celebrated mummy's advance b'day. After the meal, it was the celebration. Emeryn stood up for mummy and being presented with the b'day song by the TGIF staff.

Emeryn wanted to get an Angry Bird for Ah Theng Ee Ee for her b'day but Ee Ee would prefer a Smurf instead. Mummy left Emeryn at por por's place on Fri evening and she went for a quick shopping at Prangin Mall and got a Smurfette for Ee Ee. Mummy got the same kind for Emeryn as well. Adding to her collection, Emeryn has an Angry Bird bolster and Smurf soft toy.

After Art Class on Sat noon, mummy send her car for cleaning and polishing for the first time. Perhaps it was mummy's car 6th b'day gift. While waiting for the car to be readied, Emeryn had nasi lemak at the stall next to the car wash. After the meal, mummy went for the most pricey hair wash while Emeryn had her fringe trimmed. Later daddy picked Emeryn from the car wash and brought her back to Pekaka for a shower before sending her to Smart Reader.

Tokkie Ee Ee came back from Singapore along with Uncle Lin Chun for Ah Theng's Ee Ee 21st B'day. We went for a seafood dinner near Por Por's house at 9pm, after Ah Theng Ee Ee went off from work. Ee Ee invited the whole Mah's family for the dinner. After the dinner, all of us went back to Por Por's place before we went out for our movie date. We watched The Sorcerer and the White Snake at 1st Avenue. Before the movie starts, we spent some time at the Fun Zone, where Ah Kong & mummy's uncle were playing as well. It was a mid nite show, 12.15am and ended at about 2am. Amazingly Emeryn stayed through the whole movie. Mummy got her first b'day pressie from Ah Theng Ee Ee and it was a Coach Perfume.

The next morning, all of us woke up early for Ah Chor's prayer at Than Tsiang temple at about 9.30am. The whole session ended at about 11am and mummy dropped Emeryn at Pekaka for Beena Kor Kor's convocation photography session. Mummy went home for a quick nap before driving out to New World Park to meet her ex colleague and collected the wedding invitation card from him. Mummy had a severe headache upon reaching home and continued to sleep up to 8pm. Daddy sent Emeryn home at about 8.30pm.

Disneyland, here we come on 2012. Finally mummy materialized her promise to her lil' cookie monster by bringing her to Hong Kong Disneyland before she turned 7. It would be on June 2012, 8 more months from now. Yahoo... Later in the evening, mummy picked Flo after picking Emeryn from You & Me and we headed to The Cape @ Pulau Tikus for our dinner gathering along with aunty Mei & Jane. Both the aunties met us there. It was a yummy sumptuous dinner, placed in a bamboo without msg. It was a pure healthy meal indeed.

Aunty Mei called up right after the dinner and informed that Flo was down with fever almost immediately after the dinner. We had our dinner at Sushi King on Thurs right after school. On the other hand, Flo was admitted to LWE on Thurs evening for HFMD.

Last Fri, mummy did not send Emeryn to Por Por's house as she needs to go for a check-up at the clinic. Mummy brought Emeryn out for late dinner and then we bought supper for aunty Mei where we dropped it to her at LWE.

Emeryn attended Art Class and Smart Reader as usual on Sat. While on Sun morning, we went to the Kids Library where mummy helped aunty Grace to snapped her family photo. It was mummy's first exposure shooting for others. It was real fun trying out shooting for family portraits. After the shooting session, Emeryn played with aunty Grace's son. We also bumped into mummy's colleague, aunty Christine and her daughter at the library.

Emeryn attended Smart Reader replacement class on Sun afternoon. Before the class, mummy sent her to the clinic as she was having fever on Sat and diarrhea. After the class, we went to Por Por's house for our usual Sun visit and had our dinner over there.

On Mon evening, we were toying with the dress-up doll and keep ourselves occupied almost the whole evening. The dress-up doll was a token of appreciation from aunty Chiek Mei, for the baby cot mummy passed to her soon-to-be-newborn baby. Before bed time, mummy read the new book to Emeryn. While waiting for the bed time story, Emeryn arranged the bed and awaits for mummy.

We went to Prangin Mall on Wed after work as it was a treat from aunty Jenny. We went to Asian BBQ and it was our first time there. Mummy also bought the angry bird bolster for Emeryn. Mummy sent Emeryn to Por Por's place on Thurs nite as she was going for a road trip to Krabi early on Fri morning, 5am. It was Emeryn's 1st time overnight at Por Por's place. Emeryn stayed there for 2 nights and daddy fetched her to Pekaka on Sat evening. Surprisingly Emeryn seemed happy to stay with Por Por and mummy was really glad to know that.

Mummy reached Penang on Sun nite and picked Emeryn at about 10pm from Pekaka. Mummy bought 6pairs of earrings and 2 laura ashley dresses for Emeryn from Krabi.

On Tues evening, mummy picked Emeryn from You & Me and then we picked Flo at Melody. We drove to Putra Place to pick Aunty Mei where we headed to Table 23 for our nice dinner sponsored by Uncle Faisal. Aunty Jane joined us for the dinner. After the sumptuous dinner, we went to Bossa Vino for a quick drinks. Both Emeryn & Flo played happily at one moment, another moment fighting with each others. They behaved so much like a boy compare to a girl, running here and there, talking aloud and making funny gestures. Gosh.

While on Thurs, mummy went on half day leave where she went over to Ideal's office to know better about the new place she intended to get. It was Fiera Vista, a luxury condo. The visit to the sales office ended with a reservation of an unit at level 13. Mummy went to the show house on Fri during lunch and immediately confirmed paying the RM10k deposit as she fell in love of 1st sight at the show house.

It was Aunty Esther's wedding on Sat. In the morning, mummy sent Emeryn to Art Class slightly earlier than scheduled and picked her at 11.15am where we then headed to Maple Gold for the wedding luncheon. It was a church-type wedding and it ended at about3pm, after the photography session. Mummy drove Emeryn straight to Smart Reader after the wedding luncheon. We came back home a quick rest after the class before daddy called up and brought us out. We went to Logos Hope, the world's largest floating book fair. It was their 1st ever visit to Malaysia and as a Penangites, we are lucky enough to have witnessed it. It was definitely a new experience for us. We went home with 4 books for Emeryn. Daddy bought an ice-cream for Emeryn and later mummy snapped a few photo while walking off. Before going home, we went for our late dinner.

On Sun noon, Por Por and Ah Kong came over to our place after Ah Chor's prayers. Mummy brought them to the Fiera Vista show house and showed them around. After that Emeryn tagged along with them as mummy went for a hair cut. Later mummy went back to Por Por's place for our usual Sun visit and had our dinner there before leaving home.

Mummy worked up to 3pm on Mon, since it was the eve of Raya. Emeryn stayed at Taska while waiting for mummy to picked her. Her afternoon school, You & Me were closed for a week. We went home for a rest before going out for a dinner gathering with Aunty Mei, Florence, Aunty Jane, Chelvin & Wen Nee at Pulau Tikus. After our dinner, we went to Bossa Vino for a few drinks and later we proceeded to the Green House for supper and we had the infamous hokkien mee before leaving home.

30th Aug falls on Tues and it was Hari Raya break. Granny called early in the morning and they planned for a short road trip to KL. Mummy hesitate to join, so Emeryn tagged along with daddy, granny and the rest. Mummy started to miss Emeryn almost immediately as soon as she left home. Mummy went shopping at Prangin Mall on Tues and went to Queensbay on Wed. Emeryn came home on Wed nite after her KL trip.

Mummy drove Emeryn to Gurney Plaza with the intention to watch the new release movie, The Smurf. We did not managed to grab a ticket as it was all sold out and the next showing time was in the evening. Co-incidentally daddy called us and mummy asked him to get a ticket at QBM. While waiting for his good news, we had our late lunch at Sushi King. Daddy managed to get a ticket for us at 5.50pm. We drove there right after our meal. It was a fun & nice movie especially for Emeryn. After the movie, Emeryn requested to drop by at the fun fair. We spent about 30-45mins there before leaving home with a tired soul.

While on Sat, Emeryn attended Art Class as usual but not Smart Reader since the school is closed.

On Mon nite, again Emeryn requested to watch the street concert. She is so much into it now. Mummy drove her out at about 9pm after finishing her homework. This round we watched for 50mins. It was drizzling but the rain did not stopped all the audiences from giving their support to the performers. We were amused by 3 Banglas who danced shamelessly, imitating the performers on the stage. This is the so-called disco time for them. Haha. The street performers a.k.a "kor tai" singers are really full of energy; singing and dancing non-stop. Really amazing!!!

We went to Sticks for dinner again on Wed, utilizing the last online voucher that mummy purchased. This round the same waiter gave us another complimentary fruit punch again. How special??? After our dinner, mummy went shopping. It was supposed to be a quick dinner, but mummy ended up buying a top and a skirt for herself. We left QBM at about 9pm with sore foots.

Emeryn had a bad cough, to the extend it interrupted her sleep at nite. Mummy did not go out on Fri nite but instead spending quality time with Emeryn, doing revision, coloring and even playing angry bird's game. It was mummy's 1st time playing it but Emeryn sounded so much more familiar and expert in the game.

Emeryn attended art class on Sat morning and we went back to LWE after the class. Emeryn was still having bad cough, so we decided checking with Dr Tan. We spent 2hours there waiting for consultation and later part, waiting for the prescription. We left hungry and went home for our late lunch. Beena kor kor fetched Emeryn to Pekaka on Sat evening and ended up Emeryn spending a nite at Pekaka. Mummy went out with her friends to the pub to catch up with some old friends while Emeryn was away from home.

Mummy picked Emeryn from Pekaka at about 1pm and headed to Kopitan for lunch. We went home after the lunch and mummy went back to her sleep as she was too tired. Instead Emeryn spend 4hours watching the complete series of Tom & Jerry. It was her movie marathon vs mummy's sleep marathon. She was such a good that she did not even disturb mummy's sleep. Later we went to por por's house for our dinner.

Mummy brought back 4pcs of mooncakes after her Fri outing. Emeryn had it the first thing she woke up the next morning since she fell asleep while mummy was driving her home. Mooncake is Emeryn's favorite and she loves most with yolk.

Emeryn attended art class on Sat morning and Smart Reader later in the afternoon. We went home for a rest before heading out for our family dinner at Pulau Tikus. Before the dinner, we picked Ee Ee after her massage session. The whole Mah family attended the dinner except ah Theng Ee Ee who is at work. After our dinner, we decided to go to Tesco Sri Pinang for a walk. At first we headed to the fun zone where Emeryn is supposed to enjoy the rides and the games. Ended up all of us, the young ones and the old ones were spotted playing the basketball game. It was a real family affair where laughter surrounded all of us. It would be perfect if ah chor is still around us joining the fun outing. After some game, we went for our groceries shopping at Tesco. We left immediately after the shopping as it was getting late. On our way home, we stopped by at the street concert and enjoyed few songs by the street performers before heading home. We did not get down from the car but instead enjoyed the song from the car with air-cond switched on. What a luxury!!!

We did not managed to go out for breakie on Sun but went over to por por's house for a quick lunch before leaving to the toy library. We spent 45mins there before heading to Smart Reader for its replacement class. Emeryn hesitate to go to the class, perhaps she was burdened with too many classes. Mummy picked Emeryn from the class at 5pm and headed to Nail Haven for her medicure and pedicure session. Emeryn tagged along and wandered around there for almost 2.5hours. Emeryn so wanted to have her nails done as well but the staff there were too tight up with their appointment, so mummy did not suggest further. After the session at Nail Haven, we meet up with por por, ah kong, Toki ee ee, uncle Lin Chun, Sherine Ee Ee and ah mou for dinner. Toki ee ee and uncle Lin Chun went back to Singapore after the dinner. After our dinner, Emeryn requested to watch the street concert again, thus mummy fulfilled her wish. Again we had the luxury enjoying the songs from our car. We went off after 3-4 songs were sang.

We had our dinner at Sticks Bistro on Fri after school. The waiter compensate a free fruit punch for a wrong promotion on the beer. After dinner, Emeryn stood on the chair and started dancing as soon as the bistro played the r&b music. She was dancing un-shamefully and seem to enjoyed herself a lot. After dinner, we shopped up to 9pm until out feet yelled painfully for a halt. Mummy brought a sticker book for Emeryn as we bought some stickers back from China. Emeryn insisted sticking the sticker almost every single day.

Last weekend we did not managed to have our weekend outing as Emeryn was having replacement class at Smart Reader on Sunday. Emeryn was having difficulties understanding which number is bigger/smaller and memorizing her spelling. Teacher Grace suggested mummy to incorporate some toy into the learning process. Thus on Sat while Emeryn was at the art class, mummy bought an abacus set and magnetic alphabet to help her cope with her school requirement. Daddy fetched Emeryn to the temple on Sun to have a prayers for ah chor. She later stayed at Pekaka until mummy picked her to Smart Reader. After the class we went to por por's house for our usual Sun visit and had our dinner before leaving home.

This could be the last holiday for 2011; until our family trip to Phuket next year April. This round ah kong didn't join us. He dropped us at the airport and we (mummy, Emeryn, por por, Toki Ee Ee & uncle Lin Chun) spent a night at LCCT while waiting for our flight to Hangzhou the next morning. It was absolutely a dreadful night for all of us. We departed to Hangzhou at 8.20am and touched down at 1.20pm. During the 5hours flight, mummy tried to catch some sleep while Emeryn was actively roaming around. She was forced to sleep after 2hours.

We were greeted by the tour guide as soon as we touched down and Carmen Ee Ee was there waiting for us as well. It was a 5days 4 nights trip by Hwa Jing Travel. It was a bit tiring as we changed different hotels every day but it was absolutely an eye opener to all of us. We were all prepared to fight the hot weather at China but amazingly we don't have to fight it as there was typhoon where the wind blew strongly some of the time. We witnessed both the modern and contemporary sight of China.

We departed Hangzhou at 11.20pm and reached KL at 4am. We were all like a dead fish where we slept as soon as the flight took off. We waited for 4hours before flying home again. Again ah kong fetched us from the airport.

On Fri after school mummy and Emeryn went to the Matta fair and we spent almost 2hours there. We ended up grab nothing from the fair but gotten some info for our next year trip to Phuket.

Emeryn attended art class on Sat morning as usual. Before attending Smart Reader, we picked Tokkie Ee Ee and her bf from airport. Mummy and Ee Ee went to the temple to visit ah chor and also a quick meal before sending Ee Ee to por por's place. After Smart Reader, Emeryn came home and have a quick nap before ah kong came and picked us out for dinner. We went for seafood dinner at Teluk Kumbar and it's por por's treat. It was a family dinner together with Carmen's Ee Ee and her family. We went home after the dinner but the rest went for a movie.

On Sun morning, mummy picked kakak back home and we had breakfast before mummy left for her facial session. Kakak was at home taking care of Emeryn. Mummy went to the Property Fair after her facial and reached home about 2.30pm. We then headed to the toy library as promised. We headed to por por's house after visiting the toy library and sent kakak to work after Emeryn had her dinner there.

An Afternoon @ The Youth Park

Mummy was supposed to leave Emeryn at por por's house where she went for a few drinks with her friends. Emeryn refused to stay at por por's place, so mummy decided to let Emeryn tag along. Unfortunately we cancelled the plan as we couldn't get a car park space. Emeryn attended art class on Sat morning where mummy went to the temple for ah chor's prayer. We had lunch at home before Emeryn attended smart Reader at 3.30pm. In the evening, mummy brought Emeryn along for her monthly gathering. This round we had steamboat and Emeryn had real fun helping around.

On Sun mummy brought Emeryn out for late lunch before we headed to Youth Park. Initially it was suppose to be a quick outing but ended up we spent about 2hours there, playing at the wading pool, playground and non-stop photo shooting. Mummy also recorded several video clips of Emeryn singing and dancing. Emeryn had an ice-cream before leaving to por por's place. We went to por por's place for our usual Sun visit and had early dinner there. Emeryn even requested to bring back the rice and dishes, so that she could eat it later.

Toy Library; another short visit

Last Sat was a public holiday in Penang, the birthday of the TYT. Emeryn was delivered on TYT's b'day 5years ago. Last Sat also marked another historical day of Malaysia where the Bersih 2.0 rally was held in Kuala Lumpur. Of course, we didn't the rally but both mummy & Emeryn were following up on the news on the internet. Emeryn threw uncountable questions on why this and why that upon seeing the photo.

On Sat evening, we had our dinner at Island Glades before daddy picked us to Queensbay Mall where mummy wanted to have her shopping spree as well as getting Emeryn a birthday gift. We shopped for at least 3hours and mummy got 2 pair of dresses and a top. Last but not least, before leaving the mall we went to Toys R Us. Emeryn requested for a toy baby which can move, eat and talk as though a real baby. Mummy refused to get it as it was really expensive and it's ain't suitable for such a big girl like her. Ended up Emeryn settled with just a pencil case and we went home after that. It was a long day for Emeryn and again she fell asleep on our way home.

Daddy went to work on Sun afternoon. Mummy then drove Emeryn to the library as we needed to return the books. We went into the toy library where Emeryn played almost an hour over there. We then headed to the hair saloon where Emeryn got her hair trimmed and mummy does some hair treatment. Daddy came over and had his hair cut as well. We then drove separately to por por's house for our dinner. We left almost immediately after our meal as mummy suffered serious sinus the whole day.

Mummy took leave on Fri and sent Emeryn to school as usual. After sending her off to work, mummy drove to the Immigration Dept to renew her passport and her banking stuff. Mummy went back to the school at about 10.15am with Emeryn's b'day cake and her party pack. Daddy was late; thus we are unable to wait for him. The school mate sang the b'day song and then Emeryn cut her cake happily. She looked so sweet and extremely happy with the celebration. The kids enjoyed the cake and then Emeryn distributed all the party pack to her fellow friends. Daddy appeared later with some vitagen to be distributed to the friends. After finishing the cake, mummy snapped some photo of Emeryn together with her school friends. Teacher Gina presented Emeryn a "doctor's set" as her birthday gift. Emeryn always wanted the doctor set to the extend she asked mummy to get it for her back then. Teacher Gina fulfilled her wish by granting her on on her birthday.

On Sat morning, mummy sent Emeryn to art class at 10am and later mummy went for breakfast alone. Mummy got a summon for parking illegally during her breakfast. Mummy picked Emeryn up after art class and brought home lunch for Emeryn. We went home for a short break before daddy sent Emeryn to Smart Reader at 3.30pm. While waiting to pick Emeryn after Smart Reader, daddy and mummy headed to QBM. Mummy went to Harvey Norman to develop all her photo; her favorite past time. They both went for a quick meal at Sakae Sushi and mummy brought ice blended yoghurt ice cream from Coffee Bean for Emeryn. It was so delicious.

We went home after 5.30pm and mummy busied herself with all her photo and the photo album. We finally went out for dinner at 8.30pm but unfortunately Emeryn fell asleep in the car. It was mummy and daddy's wedding anniversary but there wasn't any special plan. Ended up, mummy brought dinner home and ate it with daddy at home instead.

Mummy woke up late on Sun morning and daddy drove out to get us breakfast. We then lazed at home till about 4pm. We headed to the toy library after so long we last visited it. Emeryn went into the toy library before we went out to the book's section and went home with 4 books. We then headed to por por's house for our usual Sun visit and had our dinner there. Mummy has to adjust to the new schedule since we will no longer have the chance to visit ah chor at the ofh.

After dinner, we went to the newly open Tesco at Seri TanjungPinang. It was really huge, unlike the 2 other Tesco here. We saw a counter promoting kid's photography with RM50 purchase from Tesco, so we hurried to get our purchase and grab the photography session. Emeryn was so used to this kinda photo shoot to the extend she knows exactly how to pose and give full co-operation to the photographer. Mummy was really amazed and smiled happily watching her lil' princess posing. It was the 1st time mummy smiled after ah chor left us.

We finally leave Tesco at about 10.15pm, feeling exhausted. Again Emeryn fell asleep in the car.

Taiping Zoo

We went to Taiping Zoo on Sun morning; right after a week of ah chor's passing. We had our breakfast at Island Glades before starting our journey. Mummy brought some snack and bread; where we enjoyed it during our journey.

Emeryn got so excited upon stepping into the zoo; where we hopped onto the train that brought us around on the wheel with some introduction. After the train journey, we decided to explore the zoo on our feet. Emeryn excitingly feed the birds and fishes with the bread that mummy brought along. She was also given the opportunity to feed the wallabies by the zookeeper but she dares not go near to the wallabies. She also requested to have the cobra photograph with her but mummy disallowed her.

We had a fun-tastic time even though we sweat heavily. We reached home at about 3.30pm.

The Grieving Moment

On last Sun daddy decided to bring Emeryn out to Taiping Zoo. We had our breakfast at downtown before starting our journey. We reached at about 11am and the bad news broke as soon as mummy received 8 missed calls on her mobile. Mummy called back only to informed that ah chor has passed away peacefully at the ofh. Without getting into the zoo, we drove back. Mummy cried uncontrollably during the whole journey back. Many questions ran through mummy's mind and keep flashing in and out such as how could ah chor dies since she looked perfectly fine a day before, is that a natural death or accidental, how could ah chor leaves before having all of us by her side and etc.

It was a real bad moment, a moment that mummy has never prepared to go through. Mummy's heart broke into pieces each time ah chor's face resembled in her mind. Mummy cried so badly upon stepping into ah chor's room at the ofh and her body was covered with a yellow prayers cloth and we were not allowed to touch ah chor. How mummy wish to kiss ah chor goodbye and hold her tight for once before parting with ah chor!!! This is the second time mummy mourned over the loss of her closest family since 15years ago where mummy lost her grandpa. Mummy regretted for not doing enough for ah chor, for not visiting her more often, for not spending more time accompanying her and for not telling her how much mummy loves her.

We brought ah chor's body to Mt. Erskine Funeral Parlour where we placed her peacefully for all the close relative to pay their last respect to ah chor. The funeral was held on Thurs morning where we sent ah chor off for her last journey with our most heavy and reluctant heart. That day marked the day we finally lost sight of ah chor. Goodbye, ah chor and may you rest in peace. We will always love you. You may be gone but you will always remain deep in your heart and soul.

For the past week, Emeryn attended nursery for only half morning session as mummy decided to enroll her to You & Me for the next semester starting 13th June. Emeryn spent her afternoon at Pekaka for the whole week, going for her tuition in the afternoon. On Wed nite, daddy brought Emeryn to Mc Donalds and came home with a set of kid’s meal. Ended up mummy was the one finishing all 6 pcs of nuggets and Emeryn choose to have her milk instead.

Mummy took half day leave on Fri afternoon where she booked an appointment with De’Santia Bridal house for Emeryn’s photo shoot. Initially Emeryn was suppose to go for a movie outing with her school mate but last minutes, they decided to go for a much later movie where Emeryn has to missed it. She was a little bit upset for not getting to join them for the movie. We reached De’Santia at 3pm and the make up artist started to apply some light make up on Emeryn. We took almost half of the photo before daddy joined us much later. Emeryn was very co-operative initially but at the last shoot, she was a bit cranky. We did not managed to finished up with a good shoot at the last session. Mummy spent almost 2 hours deciding on which photo to be selected in the album. We left De’Santia at about 7pm and bought home nasi lemak as our dinner. It was a tiring photo session and we spent the rest of the night at home.

Mummy sent Emeryn to Art Class on Sat morning before she drove to Air Itam to visit ah chor. Mummy stopped by for a quick breakfast before getting ah chor some dim sum. Toki Ee Ee and her bf meet mummy at the ofh later. Ah chor seemed happy and enjoyed her dim sum a lot. Mummy and Toki Ee Ee even joked with her not knowing that it was the last time we saw ah chor. Mummy left ofh at about 11.40am and rushed to pick Emeryn up from the art class. We bought lunch back home and Emeryn watched her new dvd before mummy sent her to Smart Reader at 3.30pm.

We went back home for a short break before driving out for our dinner at Rumah Perut, a nyonya cuisine for Father’s Day dinner. It was a late dinner at 9pm and we went home straight after our dinner.

Mummy and her fellow colleagues went to Chilis for Uncle Charles's farewell. As usual, Emeryn tagged along. Emeryn was given a chance to play some game on You Ying's new ipad 2 too.

Last Sat was a public holiday, thus art class and smart reader class were off. We went for late lunch before dropping at the camera shop as mummy needed to seek some advice on her brand new toy. We drove along the bank's street where mummy did her banking thingy before we went home. Later in the evening, daddy fetched us to Cititel Hotel where we attended his high school mate's wedding. We went off before the last course was served as Emeryn was feeling sleepy and started showing us her grumpy face.

Whilst on Sun noon, we had our lunch at Spring @ Egate before dropping at old folks home to visit ah chor. Ah chor looked so much better being at the new ofh. We stayed there for awhile before adjourning to Gurney Plaza before mummy pampered herself with hundreds of ringgit on her skincare product. We reached por por's house about 7.30pm and had our dinner there. Mummy's aunties and uncles were around too, both coming as far as KL and Ipoh. Their sole purpose of coming to Penang was to visit ah chor. Por por invited them over for dinner before they drove back to Ipoh. Mummy was so caught up with her conversation till we stayed up to 9pm. On our way home, mummy searched for "bak chang" to satisfy her craving and after driving for almost 45mins, she finally got it at Jelutong market. Mummy also bought durian home, where both mummy and daughter enjoyed the durian almost immediately upon reaching home.

New Wardrobe & BBQ Nite

For the past 1 week, Emeryn was facing her school exam. Mummy sat through with Emeryn in the evening for her revision before hitting the bed. Amazingly Emeryn surprised mummy during her Mandarin revision with recognizing so many Chinese characters. Even teacher Ginna acknowledge the same fact.

Emeryn attended art class on Sat morning while mummy went to visit another kitchen design shop when Emeryn was at the class. We reached home at about 12.30pm and waited for the wardrobe delivery. Finally Emeryn got a brand new and bigger wardrobe for all her clothing. Mummy spent the whole afternoon decorating the new wardrobe. Mummy was so much more excited compare to Emeryn. Later mummy sent Emeryn to Smart Reader and she went back home to prepare for the bbq nite at aunty SuChing's place.

Mummy picked Emeryn from Smart Reader at 5.40pm and we headed home to pack for the fun-filled evening. Emeryn joined Hui Ying, Hui Siang, You Ying, Ray Hom and Ray Yern for a swim before we filled our hungry tummies with the yummy food prepared by Aunty SuChing's mom. Some of us brought along some food to share and mummy prepared melon smoothies. The kids went for another round of water play after some food and the rest of us continued bbq. And the kids played scrabble before adjourning home.

Whilst on Sun, mummy and Emeryn went out for late lunch and proceeded to visit ah chor at ofh before going home for Emeryn's afternoon nap. Later we attended mummy's high school friend's wedding dinner along with daddy at Gurney Hotel. Emeryn behaved perfectly well that nite and received a huge compliment from mummy.

You & Me - free trial

Emeryn went for a week of free trial at You & Me. This is a centre that develops the right brain. Mummy came out from office during lunch and dropped Emeryn at You & Me for the second half day. It was a bit tiring though. Emeryn also took the palm and foot analysis from them.

On Fri, Emeryn insisted on having some light make up for her school photo session. Mummy took half day leave on Fri to bring ah chor to hospital and moved her to a new ofh. Mummy ordered a wardrobe for Emeryn on Sat. We went over to por por's place as usual on Sun but did not managed to go to ofh as mummy wants Emeryn to be home early for her exam revision.

Aunty Karen Visits Penang

On Sat morning, after sending Emeryn to Art Class, mummy went for breakfast alone before dropping by at ofh to visit ah chor. Initially it was suppose to be a quick visit but later mummy found a new wound on ah chor's lower waist and then mummy decided to bring her to the skin specialist. Mummy picked Emeryn from art class at 11.45am and headed straight to the skin specialist where she arranged with Sherine Ee Ee to bring ah chor to the clinic. It rained heavily and yet mummy has to fought the rain and carried ah chor from the car. After consulting the doctor, we sent her back to ofh, fed her lunch and make sure she is all well before we left ofh at 3pm. Mummy hurried her way and sent Emeryn to Smart Reader at 3.30pm. She then proceeded to Tesco to run some errands for ah chor before going home. Later mummy picked Emeryn again from Smart Reader at 5.30pm and we went home to get ourselves ready for dinner. It was absolutely a super rush day for mummy.

Aunty Karen visited us again on 14th May, Sat. Thus we are meeting her and mummy's friend for dinner at Sixty Nine Mansion. We gathered at Straits Quay where we car pool and headed to 69. Emeryn tagged along to the dinner and had so much fun splashing water at 69. We left 69 with an upset mind due to the bad service. Mummy dropped Emeryn at por por's while she proceeded to Church Street Cafe with her friends. It was Emeryn's 1st time overnight at por por's place.

The next morning, mummy picked Emeryn from por por's at 11am and we went to Neway for our karaoke cum lunch session with aunty Karen and the rest. The whole session adjourned at 3pm and we went home for Emeryn's afternoon nap before we went over to por por's for dinner in the evening.

It was Mother's Day and mummy asked Emeryn what would she gets for mummy as Mother's Day gift. Emeryn wanted to give mummy a necklace and then we asked daddy to bring us out.

Emeryn Ung said wanted to buy me a necklace for Mother's Day after our meal; but somehow she didn't. She said her money is just enough to get me a necklace but not enough for a necklace and earring. That statement itself worth more than just a gift :)

We went to QBM at about 5pm and brought Emeryn to the Jusco play park. We spent at least 30mins playing and hanging around. We left QBM after the play and daddy decided to bring us to Charlie Brown at Straits Quay for a quick meal and also to check out his customer's place. While at Charlie Brown, we ordered a soup and some snacks . Mummy busied herself snapping Emeryn's photo outside Charlie Brown. We hurried ourselves right after the meal as we have a dinner date with both Ee Ee and por por & ah kong for our Mother's Day Celebration.

Daddy dropped us at New World Park and we had Thai Cuisine at Tarn Thai. Ah Kong sent us home after the dinner and they popped to our place for a short visit before sending Toki Ee Ee to the bus station; as she was catching a bus back to Singapore.

Mummy was away again... to Bandung

On Wed, while Emeryn was at Pekaka for her tuition, mummy went to ofh and brought ah chor to the clinic for her skin problem. While on Fri, mummy left to Bandung for her shopping spree. mummy flew from Penang to Jakarta and then took a 3hours shuttle bus to Bandung from Jakarta Airport.

When mummy called ah ma on Sat nite, mummy was being told that Emeryn was having fever earlier and it also caused febrile seizure where they brought Emeryn to LWE Emergency Dept. Her fit started after her art class and mummy was worried sick the whole trip.

While at Bandung, mummy brought a lot of branded dresses for Emeryn. Mummy reached Penang on Tues, 3rd May morning.

Sunday Beach Outing

Granny called on Sat morning and asked mummy to fetch Emeryn over to Juru for a coloring contest. After dropping Emeryn at Juru, mummy headed to Mayfair, followed by car service and lastly a quick visit to Smart Reader to gather more info. Then mummy went to Pekaka to pick Emeryn up to the art class. While Emeryn was at the art class, mummy went to the hair salon to get herself ready for her friend's wedding dinner. Again, mummy picked Emeryn from art class and put her under granny's care while mummy attended the wedding dinner at Parkroyal Hotel.

On Sun mummy suggested a beach outing. After a simple yet quick breakfast at home, we packed and then off we go. On our way to the beach, mummy bought laksa and soya bean for us to enjoy at the beach. As soon as stepping on the the beach, Emeryn took out all her beach toys and started playing. After the sand play, we moved to the hotel's swimming pool. Emeryn dare not go in to the pool by played at the pool side. Finally we made our way to por por's house when it started pouring. On our way to por por's house, we stopped by at Starbucks and chilled ourself with coffee ice blended and the cheesecake. We were there for about an hour before leaving to por por's house. Emeryn fell asleep in the car and mummy carried her to por por's house but woke up almost immediately once mummy placed her on the bed.

Mummy left Emeryn with por por and she went to visit ah chor. Mummy also got a new set of mattress, pillow and bed sheet cover for ah chor. Mummy went back to por por's house for dinner before going home with Emeryn. It was definitely a long day for us.

Mummy bought a new fridge and it got delivered to us on Tues evening. Later at nite, aunty Su Ching, aunty Jenny, Hui Ying, uncle Junior and his gf came to our place for a gathering. It was a so-called mini drinking session and it lasted till 12.30am. Since last Wed, Emeryn started going for tuition at the neighbor's place at Pekaka. She would be having her tuition from Mon-Thurs every week and it would last for an hour each time. Last Sat mummy was working at the Career Fair, Pisa while mummy send Emeryn to Pekaka at about 9.30am. She refused to go to her nursery even for half day. Granny took care of Emeryn and send her to art class in the afternoon. Mummy picked Emeryn from Pekaka at about 6.15pm and we headed home.

We woke up early on Sun morning as Emeryn participated in her 1st coloring contest organized by Esso and co-organized by her nursery. We reached the Bukit Jambul petrol station at 10am and started off with the registration. Emeryn joined the 3-5years old category and each kids were given a piece of sketch to complete with coloring. Daddy and mummy attended the event together to give full support to Emeryn. Mummy stood next to Emeryn and guided her verbally on her coloring. It was a very humid day where Emeryn sweat heavily. Finally after completing her coloring, we had our snack there before waiting for the announcement of the winner.

Emeryn emerged as the winner for her category. Mummy was so proud of Emeryn and she was crowned a gold medal. Emeryn insisted a trophy instead of a gold medal. We went home immediately after the event before going out to the old folks home and visiting por por and ah kong after napping.

On Tues evening, mummy and her colleagues went to Rasa Sayang Hotel for buffet dinner. As usual, Emeryn tagged along. Aunty Jenny brought Hui Siang along. Emeryn didn't eat much but too fond with the cakes and dessert instead.

Finally on Sat, Emeryn came home with her 1st art & craft from Art Class and it was amazingly beautifully done.

Por Por's B'day @ Hainan Town

Last Sat, Emeryn's art class was rescheduled to earlier; 10am to 12pm. Right after art class, we headed to Math Monkey for Emeryn's 1st trial. Mummy attended the Math class along with Emeryn. We proceeded to Popular after visiting Math Monkey. We spent 2hours at Popular before going home for Emeryn's afternoon nap. We then celebrated Por Por's b'day at Hainan Town along with Toki Ee Ee in the evening.

On Sun, we visited at chor at old folks home before our dinner at Kopitan with Toki Ee Ee, por por and ah kong. We dropped Ee Ee at Sg Nibong bus station as she is heading back to Singapore.

After spending a hard nite at LCCT, we finally landed at Penang on Mon morning 8.15am. Mummy tried to get her sleep upon reaching home before she reported to work after lunch hour while Emeryn spent her afternoon at Pekaka since she refused to go to school.

Emeryn started her first art lesson on Sat from 3 to 5pm. Emeryn went over to ofh while Emeryn was at her art lesson. Later we went to Mc D, GreenLane for dinner along with Aunty Mei and Flo. We spent near to 2hours there before leaving home.

We meet Aunty Mei and Flo at QBM for our Sun outing. Both mummies decided to bring their kids to the Jusco indoor theme park. We had our late lunch together at Rou Gu Cha before going home separately. Emeryn and mummy slept for about 2.5hours upon reaching home. We then went to por por's place for our Sun visit and had our dinner before going home.

On Tues nite, we flew from Penang to KL where daddy dropped us at the airport. There are 5 of us on this trip; mummy, Emeryn, ah kong, por por and ah ma. We landed at LCCT at about 12.15am and we made our way to the food court. We got to spend 8hours at LCCT before our next flight to Tiajin. So we all wandered around at the food court, where ah kong had his nasi kandar, ah ma reading the newspaper and mummy busied going online. We tried to look for the best place to nap but could find a comfortable area for all of us. Ended up we sat on the bench and tried to nap and Emeryn slept soundly on top of 2 luggage. It was a tiring cum painful experience spending a nite at LCCT. We woke up at 6am and hurried to Mc D for our breakfast before checking in to the boarding gate. We flew at 8.30am and finally landed at Tianjin at 3pm. Emeryn was wide awake during the whole flight, resulting mummy staying awake too. We were greeted by our tour guide as soon as we touched down Tianjin Airport.

Day 1 started with our bus journey from Tianjin to Beijing. We went for our buffet dinner at Tianjin. It was very cold especially when evening arrived. We checked into the hotel right after our dinner. Mummy and granny slept early that nite, leaving Emeryn wandered around in the hotel room before she fell asleep.

Our Day 2 started with a visit to the Bao Su Tang where we were being introduced of Chinese medicine. We then proceeded to the Great Wall before our lunch. We visited the Capital Museum and later watched the amazing acrobatic show. We requested the coach driver to dropped us at the shopping complex after our dinner. We took a local bus back to our hotel. We walked for almost 30mins from the bus station to our hotel. It was freezing cold walking under the cold weather.

Our itinerary for Day 3 started as early as 7.30am which consist of National Grand Theater; also known as the National Centre for the Performing Arts where the spectacular glass and titanium egg-shaped Opera House is, a visit to Tiananmen Square; which is the largest square and rectangular plaza in the center of Beijing. We then visited Forbidden City at the north of Tiananmen Square; the world largest palace complex which covers 74 hectares. This Imperial Palace was occupied by 3 dynasties. We had our dinner at Wang Fu Jin Street but did not managed to try the snack street food. We bought some souvenir before leaving for our night view at Chang'an Street.

On day 4, we visited Summer Palace in the morning. It was a huge nice scenic place not to be missed. After lunch, we proceeded to the Olympic Green for photo stop at the Bird's Nest& Water Cube Specialty. The weather was very hazy; probably due to the Japan's earthquake aftermath. After the photo stop, we were thrown a free foot reflexology before proceeded to our walking tour at Hu Tong & Shichahai Lake, where it is surrounded by a huge lake and also pubs & bistro. There were some weird snack food available such as deep fried lizard, scorpions, star fish, grasshopper and etc. While we were busy snapping photos and looking at the yucky snack food, Emeryn wandered away alone to watch the ducks in the lake where we later lost sight of her. All of us panicked and started searching for her. Luckily por por found her. We were also brought to witnessed the 300years old courtyard house and being explained of its historical chronological. After our walking tour, finally we were brought to Xiu Shui Street for some real shopping and also dinner. We had our dinner there and mummy managed to get herself a nice looking winter coat and a Hello Kitty 3-suits jacket, long pants and long sleeves shirt for Emeryn. The shopping was a quick one and mummy was disappointed as she was hoping to shop for more. Our itinerary of day 4 ended at The Place-Beijing, the funkiest new mall with a digital canopy that sweeps over its central outdoor plaza; also the biggest LED screen in Asia. It is a tri-level mall which houses a great selection of branded names.

Sun was the last day of our Beijing trip. We transferred to Tianjin via coach as early as 8am. Our last stop was Tianjin Food Street where we were introduced of a variety of the northern snacks and had our lunch before proceeded to the airport. At the airport, mummy bought some chocolates for Emeryn. We flew back to Kuala Lumpur at around 3pm and touched down at LCCT at 9.40pm.
