Happy Birthday Daddy

Oct 29th was daddy's birthday. Emeryn made a birthday card for daddy while she was at school without needing mummy to remind her. She drew it on her own and showed mummy after school ends.

Revision Week

Emeryn was off from school for the whole Deepavali week and mummy sent her to daycare while mummy was at work. Last Tues was the Deepavali's eve and mummy only worked for half day. After getting off from work, mummy picked Emeryn from the daycare and headed to town for lunch along with her colleagues. We had lunch at Basement Six. After our lunch, we headed to FV as mummy needed to settle some fee and check on the defect progress.

The next day was Deepavali and we spent most of the time doing revision at home as exam is coming next. After long hour of facing the books, we went over to SV for a swim. Emeryn is still very scare of being in the water all by herself. After the swim, we had dinner there before going home.

Mummy fell sick again on Fri and went to the clinic after work before picking Emeryn from the daycare. That evening we skipped revision as mummy needed an early rest. Our revision resumed on Sat and after a long struggle mummy managed to pull through the whole day and finished the Science revision. Later in the evening we went out for a simple dinner in view of Ah Kong and Ah Pak's birthday. We went home right after the dinner as mummy hasn't recover fully.

Our revision continued on Sun whole day. At about 1pm, Ah Kong and Por Por brought their home-cooked lunch for us. As for dinner, we brought home later. It was a tiring day, full of revision.

On Sun nite, mummy started having diarrhea for at least 6 times throughout the night. The next day, mummy was on MC. Despite being on MC, the mummy's roles are still on-going. On Wed after school, we went for mummy's monthly gathering cum celebrating Esther's birthday. We had our dinner at Gala House.

Emeryn attended Art Class on Sat. While on Sun, we went over to FV to do some cleaning. Then we went over to Por Por's place and had lunch together with them as Toki Ee Ee was back from China. After lunch, we went to E&O Hotel along with Ee Ee to discuss about her wedding arrangement. Mummy then left Emeryn with Por Por and Ah Kong as she drove to AutoCity to check out the home fair. Later we had dinner with both Ee Ee before going home.

Toki Ee Ee also brought back the dresses mummy asked her to buy online from Taobao. It was some dresses from the Frozen movie.

Mummy finally collected the keys to our new home on 8th Oct. It was definitely a good remarkable day for us. Ever since then, mummy kept herself busy with our new place especially on checking the defect.

On Fri nite, we could still find time to chill out over coffee and we patron a new cafe, Folks Cafe. We went back to our new place on Sat and Sun to check for defect. On Sun 2pm, mummy had her facial appointment and Emeryn came along. After the facial session, we dropped by at Tesco Sri Pinang where mummy bought a watch for Esther's birthday. We then proceeded to Por Por's place for our usual Sun visit and had dinner there before going home.

October marked a very special day for mummy and it is her birthday month. Mummy celebrated her 33rd Birthday on 5th Oct 2014. Another great news came along where the key to our new house is readied for collection. This was the greatest gift for mummy. Mummy visited our new home during her lunch break and surprisingly she managed to sneak in to our unit as it was unlocked. She was with all smiles when she entered in. To mummy it is her biggest achievement to date after a long hard struggle over the years.

On Fri, after school we headed to QBM to celebrate mummy's birthday. Before dinner, we went over to Uniqlo to check on the winter wear as our Frozen trip is approaching. Our dinner at TGIF wasn't that pleasant as the food quality has dropped tremendously. At school, Emeryn bought a birthday gift for mummy. She asked some money from daddy prior to buying the gift. She wrapped it using her favorite color paper. She then asked mummy not to open the gift yet until 5th Oct.

We visited our new home on Sat morning. Eventually this round our unit was locked and we were unable to access our unit. Instead we walked around the surrounding checking the facilities available for us in the future. Emeryn can't wait till mummy's birthday to unwrap the gift, thus pestering mummy to unwrap the gift. It was a very unexpected gift. It is a puncher. Lol. After leaving Fiera Vista, we went over to sPice for the Home Fair. Mummy bought a carpet and 2 pillows. Later in the afternoon, Emeryn attended Art Class. Emeryn stayed at Beena Kor Kor's house on Sat night and mummy went out for her birthday dinner with her friend at Behind 50.

On Sun, mummy went back to the Home Fair after lunch and finally bought a hoob, hob and oven from Rubine. Mummy also paid for a customized decorative name hanger for Emeryn, meant for our new place. Beena Kor Kor sent Emeryn to Urban Playground as Emeryn was invited for her classmate, Charisse's birthday. Mummy went over to pick Emeryn at 6pm and we then headed to Por Por's house for our usual visit. Later mummy left Emeryn at Por Por's house and she went out for her birthday dinner with her group of friends at Basement Six. Mummy picked Emeryn at about 10.45pm and we headed home.

Random Facebook Updates

She was on iPad and I'm assuming she was downloading some new games when she asked "Mummy, how to spell Caterpillar Roar?" I then spelled for her. Frustrated, she didn't get what she wanted. So I walked over and checked. She was on YouTube searching for MTV. Know what was that supposed to be??? It's Katy Perry Roar.

Sept is definitely a good month and today mark my 10th Anniversary at JS. 10years (one third + of my life) is a long struggle but having what I have now, I have no regret and yet feeling proud of it; being able to live my life to the fullest and to travel to places with the people I love most. And more exciting news awaits. Sense of accomplishment and life couldn't get any better !!! 人生有多少个十年.
