Beach, here i come..

emeryn looking into her future

Emeryn is now 27months old and she is now so much smarter... She speaks in a longer sentence and able to sing... Amazingly she could memorize almost all the alphabet in her book... The most she will only missed out 3 alphabets out of the 26 alphabets.. But sometimes she will purposely tell mummy “A for Yoyo”, “B for Yoyo” and etc in a very playful mode... Then she will crack her funny face and laugh out loud knowing it’s a wrong answer.. She will only say the correct answer when mummy gives her a kiss if she answered correctly...Every nite before she sleeps, she will get mummy to read all her 5 set of books... Isn’t that a very good start for a 2 years old???

Last Sat mummy brought Emeryn to Priscilla Ballet School for a trial lesson... It was a 45min session and mummy sat along with emeryn... At first emeryn was a lil’ bit reluctant to follow the instruction and cling to mummy most of the time.. Later part, she joined in a lil’ while... Mummy feels that emeryn is not ready for the class yet.. Thus won’t be sending her over to attend the class perhaps until next year...

Daddy got to work on Sun, leaving mummy bringing emeryn to Old Town for breakfast... We had nasi lemak and white coffee... Emeryn seems to enjoy it too. After the breakfast, mummy drove emeryn to the beach.. It has been awhile since we last went there...It was a very hot day out.. Emeryn trailed a bunch of kids to the water instead of just playing with the sands... Anyhow, she is scare when her feet were covered with the sea water.. We went home after 40mins...

We had our afternoon nap before going to granny’s house at 4pm... We had our late lunch at granny’s place and later drove ah ma and ah kong to great granny’s home...We stayed awhile before dropping them home.. Mummy drove to Tesco to run some errands and went home after that... Poor daddy who is still working...

Asean Culture Center @ Tapak Pesta Pulau Pinang

Last weekend was just another ordinary weekend... Emeryn went to half day nursery on Sat while mummy went to Lam Wah Ee for the follow up session... Mummy fetched emeryn to granny’s home during lunch while mummy accompanied daddy to deliver Deepavali’s hamper to his client.. On Sat nite, daddy drove us to Batu Ferringhi for a walk...Daddy wanted to get a dvd so that he can spend the nite watching it with mummy at home... Well, it was just a short walk and we drove home shortly.. Ended up, both mummy and daddy fell asleep after 10min of the movie...

While on Sun, we had our early lunch at Zealand café with granny, grandpa, chik chik and ah chim... We planned to bring emeryn to the beach after the lunch... Unfortunately it started raining and we have no choice but to cancel the plan...We drove home instead... The three of us took our afternoon nap and woke up again at 4pm.. We went to Pekaka for dinner and adjourned to Pesta for the Asean Cultural Expo later on...

It offered free entrance and parking... It was obviously empty and not crowded at all... There were handfuls of stalls set up...We walked straight towards the fun fair area.. Emeryn was scared of playing it, ended daddy paid RM3 for the “Fish the Duckling” game... Daddy helped emeryn to fish one of the duck and we won a small Mickey Mouse glass for emeryn..Emeryn seems to love the glass a lot and keep holding it until we get to the car... We went home after that...

Cameron Highlands & Mummy's Bday

Mummy's cake from Daddy

@ Pekaka

Dinner treat @ Tao

Raya @ Cameron Highlands

We (mummy, daddy, emeryn, granny, grandpa, kor kor, chik chik and ah chim) went to Cameron Highlands during the Raya holiday... We went in two separate cars which daddy and grandpa drove each.. We departed at about 8am and reached around 12pm. Most hotel and apartments are fully booked.. Luckily we managed to get a room at the price of RM268. All of us squeezed into a room...

We went to KFC for lunch and sight seeing after that... We visited the cactus valley, strawberry park and the evening market...We had steamboat for dinner and a walk at the evening market before we adjourned for our karaoke session.. Before leaving from the market, we had some durians... Yummy... Yummy... During this trip, Emeryn had her first taste on strawberry, a strawberry umbrella from mummy and a strawberry bolster from granny...The weather ain’t as cold as we expected.. We checked out at about 10am the next morning and drove to Ipoh to have our lunch before heading home again...

Mummy was on leave on Friday while on Sun, we visited granny as usual... We went to Tao for mummy’s birthday dinner treat... We had Japanese and Asian cuisine, buffet style.. Emeryn loves its chawan mushi so much and she walked around the restaurant while enjoying its ambience and its nice decorative stuff... She even walked and sat together with a group of stranger and they even took a few photos with emeryn...Haha... Emeryn makes new friend with her own ways... Bravo, girl!!!

We drove to Pekaka after the dinner and there daddy surprised us with his super small birthday cake... Well, the size of the cakes doesn’t matter, it’s the sincerity that counts... Emeryn wished mummy “Happy Birthday to you, mummy. I love you, mummy”. Imagine how touch I am hearing those words from my lil’ sweetheart...
