Swim Emeryn Swim....

It has been long since emeryn went for a swim...so mummy decided to bring Emeryn for a swim after work on Friday... earlier the weather looked isn't promising...but we didn't cancel the plan and proceed with it... guess what??? it was really cold in the pool and yet Emeryn is having good times... the other 2 pic were taken at home after the swim... Emeryn is holding a so-called "angel" stick which mummy and daddy bought for her 1st birthday...

When daddy reached home after work, we went to Sakae Sushi for late dinner at about 9pm... emeryn was busy playing around and touches anything between her reach... daddy get frustrated and a lil' annoyed with Emeryn messing around... naughty daddy fed emeryn some wasabi with soy sauce to naughty Emeryn... surprisingly Emeryn did not cry as mummy expected... she even smiled at us and later opened her mouth wide waiting for another feed... she must be a wasabi baby in the future..

Souvenir from Bali

Mummy has just come back from Bali yesterday... uh oh.. its kinda tiring and of course mummy missed emeryn so much... at times mummy will bring out the digital camera and look at those saved photo of emeryn...

At Bali mummy bought 2 batik dresses and 2 knitted dresses for emeryn...yuhoo... new dresses again.. this morning emeryn tried on all the dresses and she looks fabulous in them.. that's my lil' sweetheart.. mummy has just left for 4days and emeryn is showing tremendous improvement on her speech... she could now talk (baby talk, of course) in a longer sentence rather than a single word... isn't that a big change for only 4days??? i think emeryn is trying to talk with us very very soon.. mummy is just so excited for all these stuff..

She could now listen to order from us and comprehend our languages... she starts to eat a lil' bit of rice and dishes each time mummy have her dinner.... she can show us some lil' sign when she needs to wee-wee... she can finish one cheese bread all by her own... she is learning how to put each side of her leg into the pants during changing time and how to pull her pants up after changing... mummy probably will enroll emeryn to Tumble Tots this sun after 2 free trials on the class... she must be very excited knowing this...

Belated Birthday Gift & 12months updates...

Mummy's colleague, Sree brought emeryn a pair of dress and a rompers...isn't that so sweet and nice of him??? it's emeryn's belated bday present... yeah!!! new clothes again....

Emeryn now at least will wear her orange sunglasses... earlier on, she hates it so much that she gets annoyed wearing it... she likes putting her sunglasses lower down and see the color different in the surrounding...until now, she still loves coming in to mummy's room and play with the fax machine... many times she will get scolded or even a spank when she throw the phone's receiver to the floor... mummy has warned her thousand of times but yet she still repeat the same naughty action...

She has tried on many new solid foods recently such as cornflakes for breakfast, rice, fish, vege, "pohpiah", "pao", vitagen, cheese bread and a lot more... she learns to climb the door and try to reach anything that attract her attention, waiting for mummy at the doorway upon hearing mummy's car driving into the garage and of course the first thing mummy will do is to carry her lil' sweetheart after greeted with a cheeky smile from emeryn... emeryn will walk to the doorway each time we bid her bye-bye and left the house.. she would cry so loud whenever we leave without her...

She can drink on her own without support... she will takes out her lil' book each time reaching home and pretending as thou she is studying...hahaha...she loves holding mummy's handbag on her shoulder just like what mummy is doing everyday and then she will wave her hand to tell us she is leaving with a bye bye... she is trying to imitate what mummy's is doing... clever girl.... she can even listen to order now and act accordingly... she knows how to play all her toys properly.. she knows how to dance with the music on... she knows how to exercise her hands by shaking both hands front and back... she can make fun with us... her hair is long enough for ponytails now... :)

Look at this lil' girl with a shower cap on.... don't you think she's just a catch??? hahaha.. cute, isn't it ??? emeryn likes coming in to mummy & daddy's room so much that she could play with the fax machine.... she would pick up the receiver and dial any number in pretext to call someone... every morning she will spot mummy coming out from the bathroom so that she could rush into the room with mummy.. and enjoy her so-called phone calling... this is when mummy will take off the shower cap and put it onto emeryn... hahaha...emeryn will never fail to spot any chances of coming in to our room... she will smile so happily whenever we allow her to come in.. if we don't, she will bang on the door and scream until we give up....that's her strategy...

Weekend Outing

Another weekend again...means another day of outing for emeryn... mummy promised to bring emeryn out if Emeryn has been a good girl over the weekday... well, whether she is behaving or not, she still enjoys her weekend outing... how could mummy & daddy not bringing Emeryn out... else she will be very bored staying at home 24/7...

Sat nite, we had our dinner at pulau tikus hawker stall... amazingly Emeryn finished a roll of "pohpiah" by herself... great appetite, huh??? guess she really likes it very much...then we proceed to gurney drive for a short walk and enjoying the sea breeze... emeryn was walking everywhere and halt whenever she met anyone sitting on the bench while she is walking... she will kinda greet them with her smile and that makes everyone saying "hi" to her... guess Emeryn is just being friendly...or should i say "busy body"? hahaha... :)

And Sun afternoon... we drove emeryn to Queensbay mall just for window shop... mummy & daddy have no intention of buying anything from the mall.. just for the sake of bringing our lil' sweetheart out... we of course brought her to the kiddies level.... she loves toy shop very much... she could drag and hug the toys in the shop as thou it was hers....then we met granny, grandpa, ee ee and aunt for dinner...

Oh yea, Emeryn's hair is starting to grow long again and now she could have her hair tied... yuhoo.....

Birthday Party & Birthday

We celebrated Emeryn's 1st Birthday on 07/07/07 at granny's place... It was a real busy day for mummy... getting the decoration done, the cake ready, the red eggs ready, making sure there's sufficient place to display emeryn's gift and photo album, making sure emeryn has enough sleep in the afternoon, getting the makeup read, getting the hairdo done, making sure the catering is in order and the list goes on...

What a day when emeryn fell on the stairs in the garage... emeryn saw mummy coming home with her cake on hands, she felt too excited and rushed towards mummy... all of the sudden she tripped off to the floor and knocked her forehead to the stairs... poor, darling... her forehead and cheeks looks terrible with some scratches... awww... what an early birthday gift... of course emeryn shouted in pain... luckily nothing serious than that..

The guests arrived at about 7.30pm and the party kicked off at around 8pm...and here comes lil' princess in her gown... she is just so beautiful, my darling princess....emeryn received so many birthday gifts from friends and relative...all were nicely wrapped....later on emeryn was making a fuss as she feels a lil' uneasy with her gown which makes her sweat and itchy, i guess.. then mummy changed emeryn to another outfit.. it was her white dress.... oh yes, she feels better in it...

And then the cake cutting session...granny and daddy let emeryn have a few bites on her doggie cake... the cake was made as a tribute to her fav toy... guess emeryn ain't thrill about the cake at all... yea, she's too young to know it....emeryn started yawning at about 9.30pm and we have no choice but to put her to bed... it's bed time.... and the party continued without the host.. hehehe..

The next day which was her real birth date 8th July, mummy helped emeryn to unwrap all her gift... it was just so nice... she had few barbie sets, book, doggie, new clothes, socks, a so-called bicycle and lots of toys....and now Emeryn has too much toys to handle... she can even master the skill on how to manage the toys properly... isn't she clever??? mummy couldn't express the joy and happiness of the day Emeryn turned one... the same day last year where Emeryn was brought to the world... the day when mummy's life being so wonderful from then on...

In the afternoon, ah kong and ah ma fetched Emeryn to ah chor's place for visiting...Later in the evening, mummy bought Emeryn to chew thean yang aquarium to have a look on fishes and doggies around while waiting for daddy to come back from work... poor daddy got to work on Sun too...then later we proceed to Mr. Pot at gurney for a simple birthday celebration for emeryn...

Daddy bought emeryn a dolphin soft toy as a birthday gift... mummy was surprised!!! This is the 1st gift daddy bought for emeryn by himself apart from the lame perfume daddy bought earlier while on the trip....I'm so happy.... I'm proud to say i'm a mother for a year now and i hope i will always be the best mummy for emeryn... HAPPY BIRTHDAY, EMERYN DARLING....

Parenthood Mag July Edition.. Happy Birthday Babies!

Look, this is the second time emeryn is featured on Parenthood Mag.. I'm so proud... I was actually expecting and hoping that emeryn's photo will appear on July's edition as her birthday falls on July... Another two more days is her birthday party... It's such a wonderful gift for her and mummy too... Congratulation, sweetie...

Mummy was looking around for the July's issue and only today, 5th July, I've finally grabbed one from the stall... Gosh, i've been waiting impatiently every month for the mag to release... Mummy was flicking through the contest pages while walking towards the cashier to pay... and to my surprise, Emeryn was featured in there... yuhooo..... so great...well, the main reason mummy bought the mag every month without fail is only for the contest column.. at times, mummy hardly digests all the info in the mag...terrible, mummy....

Upon reaching home, mummy showed emeryn the mag and pointed to herself in the mag column.. eventually she kissed herself in the mag.. it's so cute of her... mummy's gonna keep this mag till the day emeryn could read it on her own... how proud she would be??? Mummy also bought emeryn a big scoop of vanilla ice cream from 600cc... This is the 1st time Emeryn have ice cream...

Birthday Shoe

Isn't this a catch??? Isn't this completes her birthday gown???? Gosh, it's so nice... i just wanted the best for emeryn's 1st birthday... Bought some balloons and party decorative thingy as well... Today aunty SuChing & Jenny got Emeryn a princess lego set from Toys "R" Us for her birthday... whereas Charles, Junior, Kay & Fenny bought Emeryn a big furry doggie... Emeryn's gonna have a lot a lot of presents.... She's just so lucky to be loved by everyone..

Lunch & Housewarming

It's Sun again and time pass really fast without us realizing... mummy brought emeryn to BeQuador, egate to have lunch with aunty Mei, Jane and Mei Linng... Emeryn was so happy meting up with those aunties... haha... it has been so long since they last met emeryn... mummy ordered chicken spaghetti along with tomato soup... emeryn also had some soup, toast bread and small pieces of chicken... she is no doubt having a good time playing and fooling around with aunties... she keeps on smiling and laughing throughout the lunch...then mummy dropped emeryn at granny's place before mummy left to the shop again..

Later in the afternoon, mummy fetched emeryn from granny's place and headed to uncles charles's new home....Uncle Charles has just moved into his new house and invited us to warm up his new place...and there goes the house warming.. Before the house warming starts, mummy brought emeryn for a swim in the apartment's pool... we went to the baby pool and it's only a short one.... earlier mummy bought emeryn a new life boay which hang tightly on both her arms... too bad it doesn't suit emeryn at all and she can't swim with it... what a waste??? should have use the old one instead...

Shortly after the swim, emeryn hang up at the indoor playground for a ride on those colorful animals... she has no fear at all towards the equipment and enjoy the riding... she can even stand up and moved her body forward and backward... mummy laughs non-stop looking at emeryn's reaction.... she rode like a big girl...infact she's turning one soon... then we went up to the apartment for some foods... emeryn had some creamy mushroom soup, potatoes, sausages and her fav vitagen drink... thanks to uncle Charles for being so thoughtful of getting Emeryn a vitagen... Emeryn smiled happily when uncle Charles passed her the vitagen...

Emeryn also sit on Hui Ying's walker and messed around... as usual, she likes touching televisions and anything that her lil' hands could reach... mummy and kakak have to keep focus on emeryn every second... after so many activities in a day, Emeryn gets tired real soon.. she only took an hour nap at granny's place earlier... so we left at 8pm and headed home...
